Should be pretty self-explanatory. 6 levels for 3 characters in one battle. Maybe I'll record bosses later. I just need to figure a way to make them a bit stronger first.
I did this on my first playthrough, way back on PS1, and maxed out Justins weapons. You always get at least 1 exp, even if you hit 0 damage. The way the system reads it, it's still damage. That's also why I save Parm/New Parm weapons. They deal lowest damage, aside from the Zero set at Temptation Tower, but that's too late in the game to be of super use, aside from final grind. Doing this with Milda, and saving her book and Sue's, for Liete makes for a fun post game. I even took Guido up there, for S&G's.

Just started playing this on my Anbernic RG350 about a week ago, just arrived at Freena's house. wanted to find a "tips for starting out in Grandia" or something like that kinda video. Bought a "doctored" disk of Grandia 2 for dreamcast back in 2002 from Electronics Boutique but... just couldn't get it to work, SUPER disappointed and returned the disk, bout a month later my best friend invited me over to hang out, then 1/2 hour after arriving he casually fires up Grandia 2 on his PC just to see my reaction, one of the few RPG's I've finished, now here I am 20 years later attempting Grandia, And I'm enjoying it enough though there IS quite a bit of dialogue. =D
Yeah it's basically the predecessor to the Trails of series. From the visible monsters, back attacks, sorta tactical combat system that's determined by moving icons, to the lengthy dialogue conversation that changes as you progress through the game. This is basically the grandad of Trails in the Sky

Because u deal him in every case 0 Dmg, except he is stunned from the weapons of Feena and Rapp, then he gets 1 dmg instead of 0, and everytime u deal 1 dmg, u get waepon exp.
@@Brand-pn5yz Old post but: The game counts hits, not damage, so as long as you hit the enemy, you'll gain points. Edit: Replayed it again on PS4 it seems to be a bit more complicated than what I initially remembered. If you deal zero damage because of immunity (fire weapon on fire enemy for example) you gain nothing, but if you could deal damage, but don't because it's negated through high def on enemy and low atk on your part it seems to count.

@@Joryu_69-cm3hs the game is learning by doing basis. The more they use skills and attacks, the faster and stronger they get.
So Justin, feena and rapp gain over 600 exp on weapon skill and some points on magic skills.

from what i can tell you need to do at least 1 damage on hd collection been trying this for ages now only get exp when i damage it which is not often

I think it’s the Switch version. You can change the voice to either Japanese or English.

The English voices were soooo bad. Yet somehow the Japanese voices have left me feeling slightly empty 😂.
Well cheese is pretty filling, and we all tend to notice when we're still hungry.
It's like Shenmue in that the dub is so bad that it's good. The cheese is charming and unique lol

@@Schorni987 so in short, if the damage value is 0, your skill won't increase. Your attack or magic needs to do damage or it won't gain exp from it.
