- Eufy recently released another indoor camera that is just being sold at Best Buy at this time and this is the Eufy indoorcam mini. It is smaller than their current indoor cam pan and tilt (solo indoorcam P24) and is missing a couple of features but it also does have 2 unique features that the P24 doesn't have. The price though is a bit more than the indoor pan and tilt. So, we will check out its features, do the unboxing, set it up, check out its video and audio quality and see if this indoorcam mini will find its way to your home.

Another very cool product from Eufy. I really liked the tracking speed. The audio quality on Eufy is always great. Video quality was good. Just wondering if the infrared lights are visible at night? Thanks for another great review and for keeping us up to date on new products!
The IR LEDs are tiny but visible. I have to compare this with the Pan V2.

the product line with the “mini” label, and missing certain features while being more expensive makes it seem like the regular 2k will be replaced soon with a either upgraded model or a newer model. it would be great if they figured a way to make an upgraded non-mini outdoor model. (not saying this is going to happen, just a logical possibility considering the current state of products.)
if so, just before black friday would be a way to time its release.

In the manual, it says you can use it on a wall mount (page 10) it also has a picture. However, I don’t see the hole to screw in a mount. So is it able to use on a tripod?
OK from what I can see this camera is awesome...
1. it shows you with glowing eyes at night which makes you look freaky
2. it shows you in full Karen "I'm recording you mode" and reports the Karens faster than Receptionist can call security
3. it has clear picture, reasonable audio day/night and in various lighting.... not perfect but it's damn better than what we had ages ago and especially is worth the price IMO.
I just purchased it and I will be looking into playing with it for a little bit longer before finding a nice forever home for it, where it will serve me until it inevitably dies.
Should I get this one or the or eufy pan and tilt? Or the reolink pro?
I don’t have a USD card slot. I have an iPhone which doesn’t have them. How would I be able to record and save my videos to my photo gallery? Or get my videos uploaded to my RUclips channel? Thanks!

Just got this camera and the only real negative is the loud static background noise. Hope they make a fix for this.
which recommendation eufy indoorcam mini VS Ezviz C6n 4mp?
Thanks for the review...I've got the P24 tilt and pan. Comparing it with the mini I don't see much advantage with the mini except the more tilt which is great if you place your camera on a table or a shelf. Also the privacy feature in mini is nice, but in my P24 I do the same manually by just turning it towards the wall. Also the wider lens in the pan and tilt makes it better than the mini.
There is really not a lot of difference both are pretty good options.
Can you connect both of them to the homebase 2?
Can I put anywhere this camera without charger if sd card inside .is it working?
does this work with the eufy keypad? say if i arm my system using the keypad, all the sensors will work and also the cam mini will turn off the privacy mode and start recording and when i disarm my system with the keypad the sensors will shut off and the cam mini will enter privacy mode again?

I bought one of these cameras a few months ago I'm not totally happy with it I don't like that I cannot get the gel fencing to work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but it sure seems pretty straight forward. In several nights a week about 3:00 a.m. it gets up and does its thing spins around

Another gear video LH, loved the way you moved around during the tracking test. But that got me thinking.
Some times you get multiple home invaders. Just for future proofing your already great testing model, what happens when multiple people move around the room during the tracking event and how the pan & tilt cameras cope with it?
I have to check and test this out. I think it will follow the bigger or whoever is closer.
I've noticed that my units (2) will trigger motion notifications when panning and tilting in live view. Also have a ton of false motion notifications on both units at times. Does yours have these issues as well?
I only use human detection. I don’t use all motion because it will trigger those false notifications.
Great and since this is a stand alone camera I want something like this one that pick up AI and not every car that pass by. This will be inside pointing outside.

Wish i would have seen this first. I ordered the p24 on prime day and let down. Current wyze user but wyze ai and notifications still isn't as good as eufy.
1. P24 Does not pan down enough like the wyze ptz and the mini.
2. P24 Does not have the angle default. Which the wyze does as well as the mini.
Wanting to move away from wyze if possible. The doorbell has been meh. The color night sensors from wyze makes it good but the notifications are meh like I stated. So torn to move away from wyze but the loading issues and playback freezing. Not to mention no highlighted events on your timeline when playing back as the eufy has.
Any other suggestions to compete with wyze and eufy?
Can you view the live view continously for as long as you like?
For example, the Blink indoor cams only let you live view for 30 seconds at a time. Which I hate

Great review as always! I've been super impressed with Eufy's ability to offer quality cameras at such low prices. I dig the noise activated track and recording! Any idea if it'll be HomeKit compatible anytime soon?
I'm not really sure if they are going to make this model Homekit compatible.

You need to tilt the black part of the camera upwards (make it look up), it’s under there.
I’ve got mine hanging from the ceiling. Is there a way to flip the view on the app. It keeps showing it upside down?
Yes, you can flip it in the mount settings

At this time, not yet. Eufy is planning to but I'm not sure when.

You can, just toggle auto night vision to off.

Is there a playback? Mine says there is no video for playback
Did you insert a micro SD card? Also you need to arm the camera in the security section making sure that the recording is ON.

Any idea how i access the 24 hour recordings on Eufy?. I have the cloud storage but can't find where i access the 24 hour recordings. I can only find the events? thanks for any help
In the live view page, click on playback. You will get to the timeline and access the recordings in your microSD card.
Two questions: is it limited to 15 frames per second and will it notify me if it loses power?
It’s not 15fps for me, maybe it’s 30, it’s smooth video. It won’t notify you if you lose power, because there’s no battery. It’s wall plugged.

Yes..it records motion events or 24/7 depending on your setting.

The source has it
All they have to do is put an IP6X enclosure and let users use HomeKit. That's it...
None of their wired cameras let people do what we actually need to do.

Agreed! I've bought several cameras recently. The S40 and L40 (despite their crap connection dropping issues) at least use modern USB-C connections. The stupid $300 Floodlight Cam 2K Pro, despite coming out at the same time, uses Micro USB. I had to dig in my drawer for a cable for it. They could at least have made them all consistent. 🤔

Definitely gonna switch from Wyze their audio is garbage and have to pay $3/month per camera to view recordings. For $10 more currently get a way better camera
Just me. I think it looks shit. Not cute at all.
Having bought into this ecosystem (six Eufy cameras myself, and others installed for friends), I am consistently underwhelmed by their products. Sure, they're not going to be as powerful as the big PoE cameras and truck fleet cameras I install for work, but this little thing is rubbish. Almost like they don't listen to what their customers actually want at all. 🤔
