I love my Eufy 2K Pan & Tilt. It now has motion sensors. I originally bought the camera to sit in my kitchen window facing the front door so I would know when couriers left a parcel. However, it never seemed to work very well for this task as it was only a heat detecting type camera. I think they have updated the firmware and now it does motion sensoring, and very well indeed. So glad I didn't replace it with another type of camera.
I love eufy cams, I think they the best ones around. I’m ending my subscriptions with Amazon and Wyze

does app and camera have to be connected to same network for it to work? For example, if my phone is connected to a diff wifi network or to a cellular network, can I still connect to the camera?

This same camera keeps going offline. Changed device twice and checked my network which was fine and fast yet cameras keep going offline

correct, no sim card, you have to buy the micro sd card

They don't run on Batteries

How comes I cannot view Live while i am away from home? I can only view Live if both devices (iPhone and Camera) are connected to the same WiFi. Appreciate if you can help
might have to go into settings to make sure its not on wifi only for live view

NO! Your HomeBase is your Storage.

No, but you will need to pay for cloud to store your video recordings. It's best to have home-base, I have home-base 2 and the alarm goes off on both my phone and the home-base.
having trouble installing this camera, my qr code won't scan & i tried entering it manually & it saids it's incorrect. has anyone ran into this problem.
You might need to try the reset button on camera and try it again

Pretty sure you have to have the home base 3. I bought the kit which did not come with the storage . That’s why I. On here looking to see what’s up. I thought it would have come with it
now there is the new C220
interesting that its not as wide angle as this one, i might try it out
The C220 has a usb-c connection. The Two Way Audio does not need to be pressed while talking. And it is not compatible with HomeKit.

The 2-way conversation feature is not good. The user must hold down the talk button to speak. Some other camera models only need to press the talk button once to comfortably have a true two-way conversation. Eufy needs to improve this feature

You can call your internet provider and tell them your settings up cameras and need 2.4 g. They will make it where it stays on 2.4 g for an hour and then switch to 5G. That's what I had to do.
include thumbnail uses their servers so you lose privacy. Turn that off. If you brought it to someone elses house to use, could you use it without the home base as a dumb device where you could use the Eufy app to just see the camera in real time without recording?
