- Today, we are going to take a look and review the Eufy Security's EufyCam 3 (S330) and the new Home Base (HomeBase3 or the S380). The Eufy Cam 3 can record up to 4K resolution and with integrated solar panel. The Home Base 3 aside from its 16 GB internal storage, it has an upgradeable storage using a 2.5 inch SATA HDD or SSD and up to 16 TB capacity. We will test out the EufyCam 3 and see if this is going to be a good option for your home security needs.

This is making me reconsider Eufy for my home camera surveillance. I am so happy to see the 4K quality and the integration of all their devices into the new home base.
The 4K is a big game changer for me and I been waiting for them to come out with it… pretty fast picking up camera on motion detection and the night vision is excellent. Eufy is stepping up their game in a big way now.
honestly, I'm a big fan of Eufy products. Their new solar cam 3 is not only convenient in the aspect that it's solar but functional as well. Not having to worry about running cables to it is a major plus, and well, the forever charging is icing on the cake.. Also, no monthly subscription is a major win. the compact and sleek design of the cam 3 is pretty awesome. been reviewing it since it came out and honestly I'm sold! Can't wait to get my hands on it.. thanks for the review and keep them coming 👍
I have been anxious to try Eufy for some time as I have been using a combination of Ring security, and Reolink cameras user for the last few years. These new technological advancements That Eufy is bringing out like the self learning AI has me really intrigued. This with the expandable local storage and no monthly fees seems like just what I was waiting for. As usual your review is spot on. Looking forward to more of your reviews in the future. It's amazing how technology is evolving to doing 4K wireless. Eufy has been consistently pretty good at their video quality.
I like almost everything about this camera: Solar Powered, 4K, Easy Installation, Updated Homebase 3. The AI recognition looks pretty cool, and is something I look forward to using it.
My current Wyze cameras constantly gives me uncessary notifications, and I can see how this feature would eliminate a good amount of that.
What I like about this security camera is that Eufy added so much additional support for the home user to have more control over their security system. Compared to Ring, Eufy is getting more credit due to allowing local storage integration and 4K resolution. Also adding a solar panel onto its system is pretty ingenious. If Eufy releases a floodlight camera with these upgrades, I’m definitely buying it.

Love the solar charging on a smaller cam and the expandable storage is a game changer! Loving the eufy product line.
One of the early dealbreakers for me on Eufy was that the homebase didn't have expandable storage--so this new updated version is definitely a game changer. The higher resolution of the EufyCam is definitely also great, but I'd like to see it inaction in person before I make a decision
now eufy- bring back the integrated battery backup in the home-base and you have a winner!
And integrate with HomeKit!
Those Chinese made 18650 Li-ion batteries have a much higher failure rate than their Japanese counterparts. No removable battery on the camera is the real deal breaker.

The quality looks great and expandable storage is a huge win. I have multiple eufy cams (2c) and recently got the garage door cam. It's working great. Love the no subscription costs and fast notifications. Thanks for all detailed reviews!
I just started looking into Eufy and found they would be a perfect fit for my home, I love the solar panel on the outdoor battery camera and how the home base can tie it all together where I can watch my young kids while they are playing the same time I am working. Great review!!
The built in solar and expandable storage is a game changer. You turned me onto eufy about 3 years ago and my collection of eufy has grew ever sense.

I currently have the HomeBase 2 with the 2C Pro cameras and the 2K Spotlight camera too. All 3 cameras work great. I really like the new HomeBase 3 with built in expandable storage. The new cameras with 4K resolution and built in solar panel are my favorite features and have me wanting to upgrade and expand my system. Out of all of the Eufy review channels, I find your content is better and more thorough. I think you are the only one, that I've seen, that actually runs around with a license plate so you can see the details from different distances. Thank you so much for doing that, as it has made some of my decisions on which security system/components to invest in. Having only used Eufy, I feel their product lineup is better than the competition
Personally, I think Eufy is making a great move and decision making in the 4k systems, I love the fact that you don't need to clear out storage as often as before, now with a 1tb of storage that takes the pain of losing footage away. I can't wait to see the new advances that Eufy makes in the future and this system is truly one I will be looking for. Overall I think Eufy did a great job with the system and can't wait to see what they release next!
I love Eufy and their security products along with some of their home products. I have 8 cameras now and would love for them all to connect to the HomeBase 3 directly instead of my router. To be able to do continuous recording would be a game changer for me for a couple of the cameras. With the new forever power solar charging cameras I can place those in the hard to reach areas and not have to worry about charging.
Continuous recording would require a bigger solar panel and battery. But that could be an option when using external power supply.
Can you charger manually plug with usb?
Your informational videos on the various smart home products have helped me with many decisions in the past, and always appreciate ya. As for the EufyCam 3, the biggest 2 things I am excited about are the 1) expandable LOCAL storage and 2) Solar power. We lost internet this past week and my cams all went down and couldn't access any footage till they resynced to the cloud. So, this would be awesome. Thanks again!

Thanks for making comparisons, it's getting harder and harder to get honest customer reviews when making electronic purchases. I love how this camera set has good quality with license plates up to almost 40 ft, solar power, and the HD backup with no subscription. I've been one of those who has stuck to one brand when it comes to security, but see this in my feed just changed my mind.
"Honest" ? The way to be more confident of that is NOT to watch sponsored content... it'll really just an infomercial! Plenty of creators pay for their products which is far more honest/reliable.
I was an early adopter of Eufy when they were in kickstarter. One of the features that sold me was the centralized motoring hub that would store all the videos in one place locally. I was disappointed that their later products (floodlight cam, doorbell cams etc) did not have the ability to sync with homebase. Excited to see that they are bringing back the focus to homebase with their EufyCam 3. Syncing to central hub is definitely the main stellar feature for me, so i think maybe it is time for me to upgrade. BTW I love your detailed reviews, looking forward to the giveaway.

I love the ability to expand the storage to a few terabytes and the built in solar panels are a nice touch. I have been hoping they would do it. I also love the fact that they are 4K now.

Eufy has hit a grand slam with this new solar cam and homebase...love the new AI features, anti theft alarm, plus being able to use an SSD and integrate all other cams like my S40's to this new home-base...maybe in a future update we can get 4K with less compression now that we can use an SSD! I love that they made a 4k cam in a small package with solar built in. I loved anker as a brand and everything they've released in their Eufy brand has been impressive!
The homebase being able to accept expandable storage is a killer feature. Not to mention the software update to current cameras to be able to work with the new home base 3.

4k quality is something I've been looking for. The Eufy is high on my list now. Thank You for the comprehensive review. This just made me want it even more. I'm glad it will also fit in my Google home ecosystem.

I just bought a house and immediately started looking into home security. Eufy stood out to me with the no subscription and expandable storage. I also like that the motion detection notification gets to the phone pretty quickly.

This may be exactly what I have been looking for. Outdoor solar-powered cameras and the base appears to work with the indoor cameras I already have is a godsend. The expandable storage with no monthly fees is excellent.

Just recently found your channel...wow...your reviews are fantastically useful. As for the EufyCam 3 ... we like the integrated solar power function so we don't have to keep climbing up ladders to change batteries or drill holes through our exterior walls; we like its ability to send video to the HomeBase 3 storage unit so we aren't locked into monthly fees; we like the quick notification (so different from our mostly miss Ring doorbell); we like the option for just using IR for night video so we can see wildlife visitors without scaring them away; also 4K video is sweet.
Great job on the review. I really like the 4K resolution, expandable storage, and built in solar power. The integrated solar panel is especially cool, but all of these new features are awesome.

This camera system is finally giving people quality and an easier setup. I love that you can just setup anywhere with no cables and having a local system without subscriptions is a huge plus . Everything about this just seems to finally be a true security system for this day and age.

Nice review definitely thinking of picking one of these up. I already have the doorbell system and have been pleased with it. The expandable storage is definitely a winner in my book and makes it worth the upgrade.

I am an early adopter to Eufy and I am looking forward to all of the new enhancements of EufyCam 3. The best thing about Eufy is that they are working to support all of the previous versions with the new HomeBase3 which means I don't have to instantly replace all of my existing hardware and can move them all to the new home base. I am also looking to purchase the new garage control cam very soon. The 4K Eufycam 3 will replace the Eufycam 2 Pro covering my driveway now. This is great. I was looking at Eufy vs Arlo. I love that this has the built-in solar so I dont have to constantly pull them down and charge. The camera quality and sound quality is very good as well. Thanks for your videos. Help decision process.

Great video. Happy to see the expandable storage via hard drive. I have resisted moving over to Eufy from my current cloud based setup until I can get everything onto local storage. Hopefully I’ll be able to make the move soon now.

I love the no subscription and 4k recording on this and other Eufy products. I have the floodlight cam 2 pro and it is amazing day and night. I have my sensitivity to motion on the maximum setting, so I do get alerted a little too often. I would rather know in advance if there's someone walking close to my house even if it's out in the street. Thanks to you I was able to do research on the many options out there. Thanks for the videos!

This looks like the winner to me. This is my first time setting up cameras at our new house. Eufy seems to be doing great things. No subscription, expandable storage, and not overpriced hardware.
I think this set up, plus the indoor cam, and the floodlight will be the route I go.
I just purchased the eufy 4K system for my home. Not fully installed yet, but one camera up and running, and all is good. I also purchased a dual cam doorbell, so I’m waiting for it to be compatible with the Homebase 3! Sooner the better, eufy! But thanks for making great products!

This new Eufy seems to hit all the buttons on my list as compared with many of the previous cameras you have reviewed. I certainly like the solar charging and the upgraded video quality of this newer model. I will probably start with the one camera package and upgrade as I can afford. Thanks so much for your reviews.
I like the solar panel to charge the cam and the homebase. The quality of the videos looks very good and I like the features that Eufy has added. I would put one in the backyard away from the house within the wifi range to keep an eye on things. Keep up the great work on all the videos you put out.
Never have to take it down to charge thats awesome. And 4K! Pretty cool it can detect who's specifically coming and going. Don't think there's another camera out there with this many features. Way to upgrade the tech quick Eufy. I was trying to buy the home base 3 but they're sold out consistently. Great detailed videos by the way. I love your videos.

I so love the fact that it is local storage. I love the solar power that makes it kind of put it up and forget about it for a while.
I have 3 Eufy cameras inside my home and I'm very satified with them. I'm impressed with the face recognition of Eufy3 Cam and that it does not give notification for cars passing by. The best for me is that you don't have to pay for a monthly service and can monitor it yourself. I'm in Love 😘 with this one
The most significant update is the integration of all devices being synced to one system. Very convenient and I would like to know how much for the set. Thank you for always testing out the security products that saves me time and money.

I have been looking for the perfect security camera setup for my front and back yards. I love the new AI detection. I love that it can detect family. Thank you for the review, very well done. I use currently the older system of Eufy 4 cameras and 1 older doorbell cam. All work well, but an upgrade is needed. The one thing I have always liked about Eufy is no subscription and pretty good video quality (2K currently).

Love the solar power and the 4K recording. It’s time to upgrade my cameras and I’m seriously considering going with Eufy this time!
Nice to have the expandable storage with the homebase 3. Added plus is the ability to add an external solar panel for power if the installation point doesn't get good sunlight. I'm anxious to tet out the new AI recognition as I've always has issues with older cameras identifying inanimate objects as moving. I've also had issues with false notifications from moving cloud cover and shadow movement.
I saw this the other day and like the quality of the day and night recording. A definite possibility for my new house security when I move.

I've been looking to upgrade some off-brand cameras that are no longer have remote access support. I the manufacturer just stopped supporting it without notice. I found Eufy on Amazon and started looking at the options and comparing them with other brands. After seeing this review {and others} the Eufy cameras see to do what I want. I like the centralized home base storage, and that it is expandable. Thanks for the review.
