What about microSD? What is the max supported capacity?
I am using TF cards and I formatted it as internal storage as well. But why nothing happened when I clicked storage use. Just nothing showed up. no response at all.

If I move my apps to my USB drive because I'm having a few issues with the km2, can I do a full reset on the box then put the apps back on after the reset? Says that the apps will only work with the device it came off of. If I reset the box will it be considered a different box after reset?

On my Mecool KM7 Plus there is no option to move apps to a usb drive,
I have a km6 deluxe and like it but wondering why if my Ethernet is plugged in why I can’t get winfi to work? Sometimes I need wi fi and I have to unplug every time to get WiFi.

Why would we plug it into 2.0 over 3.0?
As Troypoint pointed out for some reason on this model 3.0 slowed his box way down. Doesn’t happen to me on km6. Seems like a firmware issue.
my external harddisk only shown up into usb 2.0 and not in usb 3.0 port. Any idea why?

Thanks! Is it possible to download movies (mp4's) on my PC, place them on a USB-stick, then put that USB stick into the MECOOL and play the movies on the USB stick - without any WIFI? (planning RV holiday) Same with Netflix, Disney+, etc. Is it possible to choose to store on USB stick (but still keep the app on internal)?

That's the reason I bought this to replace my FireTV Max so I could play movies from USB and it doesn't seem to be able to do it.
I should have got the FireTV Cube instead.

IMHO, knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have bought this box due to it's restrictions with the ability to move files From internal to external storage for eg , it's just refusing to do what older android boxes do, you get much more freedom, plus a lot of the features such as CEC, adding certain Bluetooth devices, and my ethernet port is slower than my WiFi, don't recognise some apks,if you want it for netflix, prime,YT, Apple,etc and Kodi media player, it's good,if you like me and want freedom like the older android boxes forget it
Yeah i bought the same usb and you forgot to mention that it makes the device not work properly freezing, turning off and not able to restart from the remote, the apps in the USB ain't working properly either, so yeah is a total money waste.
