@@SPSS4RESEARCH pls sir how do I download this spss
I have watched it up to 5 times
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
God bless you Sir
Dr. I love the way you interact with the audience even without seeing us. I believe everyone will agree with me that they felt as though they were in a physical class. I am not a lecture type, but I have followed every single one of your lecture videos since last semester.
Your video editing and graphics are also top-notch. You deserve an award already, sir🎉
Kudos to you, sir
Thank you Simon for your feedback. It’s much appreciated 👍
I will still use the mean as the measure of central tendency, the data looks normally distributed
🤔
My man is a life saver. My professor told us we needed this software. And then just told us to create graphs. No instruction, no tutorial, just go get it and know how to use it. Ridiculous.
Wow! Thank you for your feedback ☺️
Lastly, kindly show us how to download and clean data from kobotoolbox into SPSS. Thank you sir
Very good request. Coming up soon God willing. Thank you so much
@@SPSS4RESEARCH This would be very much appreciated sir. Thank you. Looking forward to it.
@@drabdullahiahmadu4708 nice 👌. Added to my list, coming up soon God willing
I never knew 20 mins could make a very big difference, sir pls could teach us how analyse Likert scale data on SPSS?
The mean 11.185 will give the best representation of the central tendency in this case as it falls perfectly around the peak of the normal distribution curve which is the central part of the distribution.
OMG, I learnt in 20 minutes what I have been trying to understand for ages!!! Thank you so much sir!!! May God bless you always
😎
It seemed impossible to ever learn how to analyse data as an undergraduate.. thank you immensely for this sir… a well spent 20minutes
Am glad you found this impactful. Thank you so so much for your amazing feedback.
This man is saving my life 2 days before a SPSS exam! You're the hero, Sir!
Wishing you the very best Francis 👍
This is solid!!! This dude explained in 20 minutes what my professor has been struggling to explain for................. God Bless you immensely sir
😎
please create more videos about SPSS, it is more helpful than learning from an e-course!
Alrighty. Working on new videos. Please stay tuned ☺️
The best video so far that i have seen on this topic! BLESS YOU SIR on behalf of many lost students on SPSS!
Thank you so much Ash! Wishing you the best
Median is best measure to represent the data
Good response sir Mika'il. May i know why?
Because the distribution is skewed, and there are extreme values. In addition, median can be estimated from the graph.
@@mikailshehutambawal8129 🤔
Wow! I duff my hat👌. Highly informative concise 20 minutes. No regrets at all Sir. To your question asked in the video, the best measure of central tendency and dispersion is the mean and standard deviation. In any symmetrical distribution as shown in the graph/plot, the mean, median, and mode are equal but the mean is widely preferred and the best due to it been the measure that includes all the values in the data set for calculation in comparison to the median or mode. We hope to learn more from you going forward. Statistics is surmountable. Many thanks Sir
Thank you so much Dr Shamsudeen (Subdeen). very brilliant response sir. I have been waiting patiently for your submission. I am so grateful to have a colleague and friend like you.
I remain grateful sir
You make learning all these computer workings seamless
Happy to help 🤗
Amazing!
I thought it was impossible for me to understand SPSS.
Thank you.
As for the question , I think Mean should be used as the best measure of central tendency to represent the hemoglobin data because it uses all values in the data set to give an average
Great response Ada👍
Twenty minutes well spent, I used to think this is a very difficult thing to do but with this lecture, I am confident that I can do this.
I think Mean is the best since it uses all the Hb values for all 20 students.
Thank you sir
Super awesome! I love it when I hear this🙏
The median and mode is the best measure of central tendecies because Hb is a continuous variable and not discrete. I hope I am correct. Thanks for teaching me SPSS. It has been a wonderful experience . Thank you Sir.
My Chief 🙌. You are close ☺️. Usually to know which is the best measure, you will need to find out whether the data is normally distributed or not. If it is normally distributed then the mean is the best measure. However, if it’s not normally distributed then the median or mode will be the best measure depending on the level of skewness of the data. So you see sir, you are close😃
I have always looked at SPSS as something beyond me! I don't know how you do this sir, but I'm glad you are doing this. Thank you sir. This is so amazing.
I think mean is the best measure.
I appreciate your feedback Chyka👍
I love this guy🥰. I wish all our teachers can be like him!! 20 mins of good stuff👍
😎
This is the best 20 minutes i have spent learning!!! This is so good sir. Please make more videos like this. God bless you
😎
SPPS made easy. What a lovely and interactive video. Kudos to you sir.
With respect to your question.
Since the mean, median, and mode are all close to each other, it suggests that your data may be fairly symmetrically distributed without extreme outliers. In such a scenario, any of these measures could be reasonable to use as a measure of central tendency.
However, if you suspect that your data may be skewed or contain outliers, it's often safer to use the median, as it is less affected by extreme values. If your data is symmetrically distributed and does not contain outliers, the mean can also be a suitable choice. The mode can be informative, but it's less commonly used as the sole measure of central tendency, especially in continuous data.
Great feedback Kayode
Please, I will like you to put us through how to report analysed data in out dissertations I.e the univariate , bivariate and multivariate. Also how to interpret and to best tabulate our results. Thank you
Okay, Sir. I will add it to my list. It will be coming up soon God willing
Thank you boss
THANK YOU FOR THIS 20 MINS VEDIO SIR. Since Hb is a numeric data. The ideal measure of central tendency is MEAN.
Awesome response. The mean may not always be the ideal measure for numeric variables. It could be median or even the mode. Based on the results, which is the best and why?
Wow! Indeed I was moved from zero to hero in just 20 minutes. Many thanks sir.
For your question, the best measures of central tendency is mean. Thank you
Awesome response as usual Maxwell 👍
How you share knowledge in such a simplified and easy manner is fascinating. You make learning interesting. Thanks for this.
Thank you so much Jay Pee. Much appreciated
The mean sir
Simply for the fact that it'll sit perfectly on the peak of the standard deviation curve
Thank you sir
Amazing!!! Sir thank you so much
I used to see SPSS as a big deal but not anymore. All thanks to you
For the question, I will go with the mean as a measure of central tendency.
You are most welcome
Thank you very much Sir I learn an expensive knowledge on analysis within shot period of 20minute
Am glad you found it helpful 👍
Twenty minutes well spent!
Great work you're doing Sir👍. Nice editing too.
To answer your question, data looks normally distributed, so I'd use the Mean as the measure of central tendency, and the Standard Deviation as the measure of dispersion.
Thank you sir
Kudos to you Sir, you are indeed a scholar in the field of public health, 20 minutes well spent
Thank you Chief Murtala 🙌
Best 20 minute video in the world. God bless you sir🥰
Thank you Ma’am. I am glad it was useful. There is much more to come, please kindly stay tuned😎
Making learning SPSS so easy and educative.
This is awesome! A snappy way to delve into SPSS.
In my view...Since Hb is a numeric data. The ideal measure of central tendency is MEAN.
Great response 👍
SPSS made easy, I can't wait to start using SPSS for data analysis. I am finally from Zero to Hero. Thanks so much, sir.
Glad to hear this Alice👍
Thank u so much for this sir.
We need more videos like this from our able and capable ABU Lecturers
I agree with you Faruna😊
There are lots of very good ABU lecturers, I am just a baby lecturer compared to most of them. Thanks for your feedback
Thank you sir for the very educative video. The best measure of central tendency in the data above is the mean because the data is normally distributed.
Very good
Thank you for this great tutorial. Through it, I have been able to create my variables and do basic analysis.
Best measure of central tendency for the haemoglobin concentrations can either be mean if the data is unskewed and median if skewed.
Great response Safiya! That is a smart way to dodge o! Okay, Is this data skewed or not?
Superb! This is truly a movement from zero to hero.
Regarding the question, the 3 measures of central tendency are approximately same, as seen in normally distributed data. The mean will be most suitable because it is more stable, and makes use of all the observations in the original data
Tajudeen you are a don!! 😎 Awesome response
@@SPSS4RESEARCH
Lol @ Don😅. Many thanks sir.
Indeed you've made me a hero. I am grateful Sir.Meanwhile concerning your question, I am not too sure but I'd pick ' mean' as the best measure of central tendency to represent hemoglobin. This is because the mode and median are practically the same, I couldn't pick either.
To the other question...yes I wouldn't mind mind more videos of SPSS to aid practice.
Thanks a million.
You are welcome Christie. The choice depends on whether the data is normally distributed or not. So the first task is to determine the distribution of the data and if it is normally distributed then the mean is the best measure otherwise it’s the median. So Christie, my hero, I leave you with finding out whether the data is normally distributed or not👍
Thanks, bro you have changed my mind......from Tanzania👊👏
Happy to hear! Shikamooo ☺️
Thanks so much for this video! It was really easy to follow along. I'm watching this right before I leave for my job interview as a coder, hopefully it will give me an advantage :D
Wishing you the best in your interview ☺️
I paid for this type of lectures before but I couldn't understand. But now is clearer. Thanks for the lectures
Nice to know👍
Thank you Prof. That's immaculate.
Thank you Sir!. Mean is the best measure of central tendency as it gives more meaning
Great response sir Auwal
Thank you Sir
Wow! So cool! I was captivated start to finish, and it was so interesting, it did not feel like learning at all. This is so amazing sir!
Thank you so much, Ruthie! I am glad you enjoyed it!! waiting to subscribe to your RUclips channel
Wao! Great 20 minutes. You are a cool teacher. And humorous too. Thanks immensely.
Thank you so much My Chairman John.👍
Simple n a well tailored made lecture.
@Krunchfoods llc Thank you so much 😀
Indeed. Very simple. Thanks.
Thanks for this summary.
Wow never knew spss was this easy to use. Went from zero to hero indeed thanks to you sir 😁. I would choose mean as the best measure of tendency.
Great feedback Rahmatu. But why the mean 🤔
This is indeed "Gone in 20mins". Thank you Sir.
Always delivering as expected.
Am glad you found it useful sir
Thank you sir for the brush up. Twenty minutes well utilized.
I agree with you😎
Thank you Chidinma, I very happy it was helpful😊
You are insanely amazing Sir..
Lots of respect from India..
Thank you so much 🤗
Great presentation sir, this is really helpful.
The mean (11.98) is the best measure of tendency because it best describe the distribution i.e it uses all the data set to give an average.
Thank you sir. We appreciate your tutelage
Thank you so much Chief Badru. You guys make it worth it!. I appreciate your feedback, I really do
highly needed ,thanx so much sir
Yes it is very easy to understand and good, I learnt about SPSS in 20 minutes thank you
I appreciate your feedback Maisa ☺️
Thank you so much sir. Will surely share widely!
Super superb, nice one there sir. Thank you
Dr Fahad , Nagode Sosai 😄
Amazing lecture Sir. I have been trying to learn SPSS for ages but this is the first time that I actually understand some of the specifics. I think the mean should be the best measure of the central tendency in this study.Thank you so much.
Great response Gesiye. You are in the right place to learn everything about SPSS. Let’s learn together 🙌
Thank you sir, you have really taken me from zero to hero. Mean is the best measure of central tendency in this case.
Great! Am glad you found this impactful
@@SPSS4RESEARCH You simplified SPSS like ABC, and you sparked my interest to learn more. Please, how can I get free questionnaires for practice?
My professor thanked me for sending him this video to help him learn SPSS. My tuition pays his salary and my man didnt know how to use SPSS in our bioinformatics class. Thank you so much for carrying my ass through my bio degree so far.
Am glad you found this useful Nicu. Thank you for your feedback
Very interesting stuff in just 20mins, I feel like a pro and I haven’t even practiced it yet but I get it get it! Thank you so much Sir🙏🏽 About ur question I’d say it’s the mean just because I know it’s the most widely preferred as the best measure of central tendency as it is the measure that includes all the values in the data set for its calculation, and any change in any of the values will affect the value of the mean. Sir, pls correct me if I’m wrong
Cynthia, You are a correct about the characteristics of mean but these are not the reasons for selecting a measure of central tendency. Mostly it has to do with the distribution of the data. If the data is normally distributed, you use the mean but if otherwise, you use the median or the mode. Now the question is, is the data normally distributed or not🤔
For the Hb_levels I think the best measure of central tendency will be mode, median and the arithmetic mean because it is an interval variable. Thank you, Sir
Great response Josephine! But now I need you to select the best out of the three based on the results
Very practical sir. You just have a unique way of passing knowledge.
Wow...what a oversimplified session with @Olorukooba in SPSS... thanks a billion Prof
Thank you so much my Chairman sir🙌
Thank you so much Chief..That was a splendid presentation .The best measure of central tendency here is the mean.
Awesome response Opeoluwa 🙌
Great video. Wonderful. God bless you for this great work
Thank you so much Dr. I really appreciate your feedback and support. God bless you too
@@SPSS4RESEARCH For the question . I think the data is skewed to the right cos the mean is greater than the other two measures of central tendency which actually coincide suggesting that the median may be the better measure but the significance is best analysed objectively testing for normality which can be done to confirm if normally distributed using the Kormogorov-Smirnoff or Shapiro-Wick. If its not significant then its normally distributed and the mean can be used but if significant, I'll go for the median as my measure of central tendency.
@@drabdullahiahmadu4708 very brilliant answer. Thank you so much Dr Abdullahi for your feedback 😊. I am grateful sir
Mean is the best measure of central tendency in this case. The data is normally distributed as the values of the three; mean, mode and median are close to one another. Great job sir
Awesome stuff Rukayat
@@SPSS4RESEARCH I need a clarification sir. I have a data set and the mean and median age are similar (34.9yrs, 35yrs) but model age is 25yrs. Do I take my data set as normal or NOT normally distributed? Thank you sir.
This lecture has improved my knowledge of analysis using SPSS. The measure of central tendency to use is the median because the data is skewed and not normally distributed.
Wow sir, thank you so much, God bless
Thank you chief KABIR, God bless you too sir😊
Well appreciated Sir. JazakumulLahu khayr
This video lecture kept me speechless as I followed it but by bit from the beginning till the end. Frankly speaking I lack words to express my joy over the knowledge I am getting here. I could remember there was a man who uses this spss in analyzing data in my working place. I picked interest in what he was doing. I pleaded that he should teach me but he told me to pay him #100,000 for him to put me through.
Now I realized that what I was looking in sokoto is in my shokoto. Here I am getting the Almighty spss knowledge for free.
Sir may your days be long.
May your pool of knowledge never go dry. May Almighty Allah continue to strengthen you. Provide more wisdom and knowledge to you. I am putting more interest in this package so that I will surprise that man.
Honestly, there is no other software to analyze data better than SPSS. Spss is the ultimate.
Thanks so much
As for your question, using the central tendency and dispersion remain the Best.
Great response Chief Iyke. Amen and God bless you too👍
Great 👍
I used SPSS ages ago during my first degree. Prior to watching this video, SPSS seemed alien to me! You've broken it down and made me remember all I'd forgotten!😃
Nice! Thank you for your awesome feedback
Very simple to understand. Thank you very much sir
You are welcome Chief!!
Very Explicit, definitely would love you to create another SPSS video like this. To the question asked i think its mean because it is distributed normally.

Thank you for starting off good and smooth on SPSS.
Thank you so much 😊
Wow wow wow!
So interesting and easy to understand.
Finally gotten an easy way to get my assignment done.
Thank you for the effort you put in your work.
About the question you asked,
I'll choose Mode as the best measure of central tendency to represent the Hb data because mode represents the highest occurring number meaning more number persons from the study group had the same Hb value. We can call that the average Hb you will find within the population where the study group were selected from.
Awesome response Adenike, it doesn’t depend on the highest occurring number like in elections where the majority carries the vote. It depends on whether the data is normally distributed or not. So the question is seeing these results, is the data normally distributed?
Great lecture in simplicity
My Chief, thank you so much Dr Gibson!!
Yes, 100%
AWESOME! SPSS made easy! Thanks a lot sir!
