We are so proud of Freddy Fender and his accomplishments in the industry. This just shows the fact that he was on top of his game. Viva Freddy Fender!!!!
I met Freddy in the Dallas airport with two of his band members. We all sat together eating tacos and talking guitars & amps. Great guy! The only thing they were carrying with them were snake skin boot cases. Great guys! R.I.P.
It was "Dean's Place" but it wasn't a special, it was revamped "Dean Martin Show" moved to Fridays. It didn't last, and I think Dean was relieved, ready to hang it up with NBC.
@@akrenwinkle This was Greg Garrison fighting against the new NBC management “young Turks” for a new variety concept for Dean. It was a great plan. Fit Dean well. Garrison knew they didn’t want it when he found out they scheduled the show for Friday nights, a death knell for shows. NBC had told Garrison they only wanted to keep the Roast format specials. Get this, they told people Dean was old news and they were going to capture the “new, younger crowd” with Mac Davis. Now Mac was a nice guy with a minor career but c’mon, he isn’t even close to Dean Martin. Thinking like this got them all fired but not before they almost ran NBC into bleeding money.
Best music in the world is Dean Martin I thank you it's a shame he is gone don't you agree 👍
This is the most gangster shit I’ve ever found absolutely beautiful I wish music like this was still made today my generation sucks ass

@@paulbrislen1484 I recall seeing a couple of episodes when they came out, and even I, a young Dean Martin fan then, found the show unwatchable.
Wow !!
Alguien sabe la historia de esta canción?
