Sorry for the quality, I reconstructed this video from several different parts.
I saw dean in Las Vegas around 1987. When he first entered the stage he stated "if I knew I was going to lived this long I would have taken better care of myself ". Great line.
Sad but true, now I feel the same way Dean 31 years later
lol
Wow! You are so lucky to have seen him! Born in '88 - I pretty much missed it all!
My mother’s friend said she saw Sinatra in concert but never saw Dino
😂🤣😂🤣
folks this is what talent looks like
@James Henderson Take it back
@James Henderson yes, but he had a great voice. That's undeniable
@James Henderson good one , made me laugh thank you.
...If you think that Dean Martin was drunk when he sang, think again. It was all an act. He was a master at making you think that he was high, when in reality he was in full control of his artistic faculties.
He is drunk. But he handles super great. He got no problem. On other videos he is drunker.
Our Germanys Dean was Harald Juhnke.. THAT was real coholic!
Really, I though you folks liked David Hasselhoff.
@William Sirman
Other performers said the same.
@James Henderson see a doctor and pray!
I saw Dean Martin in London during this Concert Tour, he was fantastic! No one sang like Dean Martin!!
His voice was gone.
@@JamesRichards-mj9kw Su voz no desapareció, es un video de muy baja calidad, remasterizado es otra cosa hazlo y verás los resultados...
this was recorded 12 years before he died. He was still an awesome performer. There is only on Dean Martin.
Dean died on Christmas day........:-(
@@Gatherer76
And strange enough, so did Dean's mother also died on Christmas Day, as well as Dean. I wonder what that means spiritually.
@@chirelle.alanalooney8609 Nothing. December 25th has nothing to do with Jesus or Christianity.
@@chirelle.alanalooney8609❤
We will never see the likes of him again sadly.
When Dean smiled, his whole face just beamed, and it showed his wonderful character. It also made you smile too, because it was infectious, and you could NOT, NOT SMILE.
I enjoyed his shows and his songs.
@@johnbennett2407
Hi John, me too. I watched it every week from the beginning of his T.V. Show too this very last T.V. Show. Then his Dean Martin Roasts Toasts. Ha ha ha ha ha, were on after that, which was just hilarious too.
😊
I did NOT ADD THAT EXTRA
"O". ON THE TO. I WROTE
TO BUT THIS COMPUTER THING MISSPELLED IT WITH TWO O'S.
I was there that night in the crowd with my parents....you can even see me near the end going to get his autograph...I was only 13 years old at the time..🙂
Nice memories :)
Wow I will give anything to be there
Never be another man like him I miss him xxxxxxx
You were so lucky. Greatest voice of all the RAT pack
Impossible for any human being to be any cooler. Class, talent, poise and modesty, all missing in what passes for entertainment these days.
When Dean's show came on TV, it was like having Dean in your house! Little did we realize back then how privileged we were to have this Magnificent Man entertain us weekly! I love Dean Martin so much, so great looking and so much fun! That voice makes you dream about the good times! Jeanne was there for the good and sad times, she shared this great man's heart. She has to be a wonderful person.
I saw a photo of Dean when he was near his passing, he was very thin and frail and had gone out to dinner. Barely looked like Dean and it scared me, I just never thought about Dean getting old. But, it happens and then he was gone. Very sad day, I hated to say goodbye to the finest entertainer that America has been graced with! Rest in Peace, beloved Dean Martin.
His voice was gone.
@kathrynlayfield9599
Your comment is soft and sincere as Dean himself. Thank you for sharing part of your personal experience.
Good health in 2024🙂 Have a lovely day.
watching Dean 2:04 Martin 2:16 live in London
my favourite song sung by Den Martin my favourite Singer is Hey Brother😢Pour the Wine Brotheyr vouitreirdingidHeyvBhrothrrPoiut thWie
A true original with class, he turned songs into coolness. Talent, charisma and humor like he had don't exist today and probably never will again
My favorite of all crooners
)
And if they do, they won’t let white people pull it off in public
Oh boy you can say that again, cuz I am with you, and it is so true. It really makes me sad to think of all of those wonderful Entertainers like Dean, and the rest of them that we unfortunately will never be able to bring them back, Except for those Wonderful Memories they left us with. Thank God, & Rest In Peace.
You Have More Than Earned That Luxury Dean. Enjoy.❤️💋❤️ 💋
I’m so happy to see this !! On my phone !!!i’ m !! So great !! Great , I one of my favor singer! I wish to see him in person! Oh well !!enjoy this !! Love MP
This is entertainment at its best. I’m watching this in 2024. Our world of entertainment has deteriorated.. So very sad. Rest in peace Dean.
Hey Dean, I’m not sure if you are going to ever know how much joy you brought to so many people especially this one Thank You.
I love watching Dean Martin as he sings great and makes me laugh I know all the jokes but still laugh. RIP Dean Martin there will never be another like you.
Hi there, how are you doing at the moment?
27:29 And
Dean Martin was one of a kind. He was so unique. He was a fabulous entertainer.
The King of Kool …AMAZING…. He is Magic & Cool , suave & charming with no pretense……🙏🏻💝🇺🇸
Always loved Dino - he could no wrong. I was thinking while watching this - it is now 2022 - pretty close to 40 years ago and some of those older folks who were lucky enough to be in the audience are now listening to him up there.
Dear Sir. Dean Martin was NOT a Demoncrat. Where did you assume that odd idea??
Dean publically stated that he was a Republican. So you should correct yourself on that.
@@chirelle.alanalooney8609 WTF are you talking about? No where in my comment did I allude to anything political.
@@mardicole4202 What are you talking about? There was a MAN, OKAY, A MAN, talking about Dean Martin and he said that he was a Demoncrat which isn't true. SO JUST YOU RELAX MA´AM, CUZ IT'S NOT ANYTHING ABOUT YOU !!
SO GET YOUR HACKLES DOWN AND BACK OFF !!!!!!!
@@chirelle.alanalooney8609 Then if it has nothing to do with me -- why did you not reply to this MAN's comment and thereby not tack your response to this MAN's comment onto my post?? I would suggest you back off and not post a reply onto someone else's post that has nothing to do with what she originally posted.
My Dad loved him and would sing Lil ol wine drinker me as he did the drieing up in the kitchen ,swishing the tea towel about and laughing as Mum tried to restore decorum ❤
When you're drinking ...this song made my day !!! 😂😂😂
What a wonderfull singer , comedy actor , western actor and above all ...
WHAT A WONDERFULL MAN !!!
I MISS HIM !!! 😢😢😢
Last night in bed I watch this show again. What a talent, what a man, what grace and goodwill towards us all in his acts and singing …Sway !!
What a STAR ! No words will ever do Dean justice.
Great comedian.Great actor.Great singer.Dean had the lot and lived his life to the full.TRUE LEGEND.
Avant de mourir il a dit qu'il avait eu une sacrée belle vie. On a l impression qu'il est toujours là. On l adore 💖
66 years old when this was filmed ,,and he still sang with perfect pitch ,,, incredible 😉👌
I think the music is himself. I’ve never noticed he has to put the effort to perform. The storms had been hitting him badly. I’m believe he falls into pieces then, giving up on everything.
Houston, that song is probably best described how’s.
Sad.
Good health to you. Take care.
He did better than some of these so called stars today do!(lol)
His voice was gone.
at that time dean at 66yrs was just as good as ever his voice was still great
Singer, actor, raconteur, this man had it all.
Dino was Elvis favorite singer...that says it all....
I didn't know that Elvis had such good taste, kind of the kettle calling the pot black huh.
Some can sing, dance, act etc.... This is what an entertainer looks like.
i love this man, so entertaining, how could you not
Glad I found this gem on youtube. Dean was a treasure...
He truly aged well and it was a very great performance!
101 years ago the Best, still is the BEST

Dean was really the epitome " cool hand Luke" someone who sang as background on his show for 6 years said he was the kindest , funniest person to work with Always nice to everyone. After his son was killed tragically, he maybe drank a bit more? I loved him in the Movie Come Fly with me❤🎉❤RIP Dean Martin❤❤❤
so glad to see him sing my favorite song "For The Good Times " with a smile. Back on his T.V. show he sang it and there was tears coming out of his eyes. Don't know for sure but I think it was about Jeanne and him was going though with the divorce. So glad they was at least back together at the end of Deans life.
WOW, JUST LOOK AT THE MASSES OF PEOPLE THAT CAME TO SEE HIM. IT'S AS FAR AS THE EYES CAN SEE, OF AN OCEAN OF PEOPLE !!!
IT IS SO VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE KEEP HIS LEGACY ALIVE, AND WELL, AND FLOURISHING, OF THIS GREAT MAN, DEAN MARTIN !!!
I love Dean Martin!! Sometimes I go to sleep listening to his singing!! Sometimes I have dreams of just the two of us being together!!
Decky Lawson Lovely story! Do you manage to crack a fat in these dreams with Dean?
Do tell:)
@@hyena131 my step mother thought he was a real hottie.

I bet she did! And she was definitely not alone as there is no doubt a lot of old dears loved Dean!
Pretty sure there would be a very, very long queue of females. Still got records and tapes of him singing. Absolute legend.❤️❤️💋
dean just glides thru his greatness on stage, makes it all look so easy.
Dean Martin was an awesome entertainer, singer, actor, comedian there was not much that he didn't succeed in show business.
And most of all for the most part he was happy with just being a good husband, great father and all he wanted was enough money that would keep his family enough to live on thou out his life and beyond.
Thank you Dean for inviting us into the world of yours.
Great stuff. When i was a little kid, my folks would watch the Dean Martin Show and let me watch. I would watch their faces, smiling at Dino. They called him Dino.I got hooked then. The show was a bit over my head in some parts, but I got a lot and thought it was cool. when ever i hear a Dino song I think of my folks. Luckily they're up in a Vegas showroom whenever they want watching Dino live.
One of the greatest entertainers that ever lived what a man what a voice Dean Martin RIP x
I love Dean!!!!!!
Dean Martin, the King of Kool! God bless him!

Never tired of hearing this man sing, what a joy! Pure Legend!
I loved every minute of this performance.
Saw the show in 1983 live at the Apollo in London where I live brilliant
His version of Where or When is my favourite ever, too bad he never recorded it on a disc.

smoother than silk and cooler than a morning breeze, Dean is one of a kind genius
thank you for editing this together
kdeltatube That's beautifully put, and I think perfectly expresses how we all feel about Dean.
He sang the best version of any song. He was so relaxed. He sang with a smile in his voice. Whether he was intoxicated or not doesn't matter. He hit the notes better than anyone else.
his voice is legendary
one of the all time best. Thanks Dean.
Dean was 66 years old at this point and although he slowed down somewhat his voice is still rich and full. What a treat to see and hear him.
Dino was COMMICAL love him so much r.i.p.dino xxx

This...This my friend is what you call a real gentleman...Good ol' times .
And now shitty times, shitty people.
2024 now. Wow. This man’s voice is like no other. Smooth, elegant, emotional. While he’s singin “For the Good Times” I swear I see tears in his eyes. I can almost see his thoughts. He mentioned Jeanne and he were “ together”again. I think he was singing to her. I couldn’t have resisted either.
Too many damn cigarettes!! God, I miss this man!!!!
THEY WERE SO ADDICTIVE , VERY HARD TO STOP, EVEN WHEN WHEN YOU KNOW. MISS HIM SO HIM SO MUCH.
dean martin soberviamente interpreta el romanticismo clásico melódico incorporando en sus presentaciones un humor que encanta y entretiene al mundo como nunca en la historia de los shows haya existido. Gracias dean por siempre seré un admirador más allá de lo infinito.
His voice never failed! Still as beautiful as the day he began!

Oh, what a dream to come true! Saw Frank three times. Sammy and Liza with Frank in the Ultimate Event but Dean .... my heart's apounding! ❤
Absolutely wonderful
How lovely! Nice to see this.
I’m a big jazz fan and Dino is one of my idol. Whenever we have a night out or house party I end up doing bits and singing like him. My girlfriend doesn’t like jazz but when it comes to good lookin’ ol’ Dino… hot damn I’m telling you it’s a game changer ;)
Dean Martin! Nobody can do anything like Dean-o...thanks for posting.
He's pretty great
22:31 this couple is probably passed away now, but I can't help imagining how exciting it was for them to see their favourite performer live, the 80's were SO BORING and they look so happy

Dino …..The King 🙌🏼 for ever !!! Saludos desde 🇨🇱 Chile
Today (7th of June) is the 100th anniversary of the birth of the legendary Dean Martin!
Thanks for reminding us...I did think it was 1918 and pondered that when watching him, so am off one year. I still remember that the "Big 3" of the Rat Pack died sort of close together in time; Sammy in 1990, Dino in 1995 and Ol' Blue Eyes in 1998. The "Dean Martin Show" (1969-1977 or 78?) was one of the most watched, steadily, all the time he was on. I remember some, where I worked, saying they had to get home in time to watch Dean. I saw Frank live in Metro Centre in 1990 (Rockford, Illinois) but never Dean. Dean sang the best songs too...so many I liked ("Welcome to my World" might be my favorite.) You did a fine, fine thing posting this. wally
You are welcome! Thank you for your memories :)

I had to come back and watch/hear Dino again. Wow, the memories it brings back to me...so many places I'd be in (esp in younger years) and I always had several supper clubs or wherever that had Dean on the jukebox and one special place had a large collection of Dean she'd put on when I walked in. All that soothing sounds of Dino and the women that wanted to dance...and he did "songs to dance to." We miss you Dino & w/technology we can still have you.
Thanks for posting! Best, wally
why would you make a comment like that about someone who was much loved and adored by the public the world over?I think he was a great entertainer ,whatever personal problems he had he always seemed to carry on regardless. Do you have a reason to say what you did?
No hubo otro igual,el arte le sale de la manga demasiado original 💪👍👋
Fantastic, brilliant I had never seen this before. It's the 40th anniversary of Elvis's death today it seems. But it seems to me I like and love this Performer better, What a rare and brilliant Talent. R.IP Dean. yep Elvis too
He's the best and love his voices
Thank you for posting this. Dean Martin has always been an inspiration to me since I like to entertain on the side. I watch this video whenever I'm down since Dean brings unparalleled class and loveliness to the world of music, that and his voice is just amazing.
You are welcome! I hope to find more concerts of Dean Martin:)
I didn't know he was still doing concerts this late. What a great show and entertainment! Thanks for posting!
Jackie Phillips up until 1990 in his 70s
shawn Martin It’s generally acknowledged that the death of his son Dean Paul in a plane crash in 1987 broke Deans heart, and he more or less gave up on life after that. He did do occasional shows in Vegas, and Frank talked him into doing one last Rat Pack ‘Together Again ‘ tour with Sammy, but his heart really wasn’t in it anymore so he just walked away and became something of a recluse in his last years, until he finally passed away on Christmas Day 1995. It was a very sad end for a man who had brought such happiness and laughter to so many people for almost half a century.
Linda Shelley ... So true Linda it was so sad. He still had Jeanne that was close to him at the end plus his children and that a blessing in itself.
Thank you!!!!! I love Dino.
You are welcome!
No one will ever look or sound as fine as Dean did "BackintheDay" ~ what a guy!
Thank you so much for posting this. Dean was briljant and one of a kind with 66 yars old he still had a great voice I miss him when I think of his time with Jerry Lewis and The Dean Martin Show what great TV we had back in those day's something we miss deeply now times change but not always for the better. There will never be another Dean he was so special we are Lucky we can watch and cherish all his work on the internet now..........." Every body loves Somebody"!!!!
You are welcome!:)

Barbat adevărat, e de studiat pentru noi, puștanii de 20 de ani 😂
We need more videos like this one.
Saw him in Vegas late 1980s, he was a gracious, and quite wonderful person to have been able to talk to.
The show was as good as I remembered from his TV show. Both were great experiences.
The smooth drunk who was never actually drunk. Dean was so much smoother than Sinatra in the latter stages of their careers. His vocal quality stayed strong for much longer.
I always thought Dean was better than sinatra.but frank thought he was the boss and the others should follow him and hang on 2 his coat tails
Merveilleux de talent, le charisme à l’etat pur, la grande classe, la voix irrésistible et quel professionnalisme, magnifique Dean Martin, je l’adore !
He is 66 here, his voice seems less powerful -- but it's Dean. One of the best ever.
