Worth putting some grease or oil in the shocks makes a pretty big difference as the standard shocks are super springy without dampening. Running mini-z buggy tyres on mine for nice wide rear grippy tyres for that rally stuff

Excellent! But the process is pretty tedious. Look up a video on locking the diffs of a mini-z the procedure is basically identical. I actually like it better for grip driving as well due to the more realistic rally slide feel.

I still love these drift wheels on my WRX I bought from you!! Lots of fun, we have a trampoline and it works really well for them. And it's mandatory for the lipo battery. The question I have for you is how much work is it to lock the diffs?
I have the Subaru GT24 and locked both diffs by opening up the covers, popping out the 3 small spider gears and mashing a small blob of blu-tac into each half of the diff housing. Took literally 10mins to do, works really well and can be fully reverted back to stock by picking out the blutac and reinserting the gears.

The drifts look sick with those wheels. Mine arrives tomorrow could you tell me if that's a JST RCY plug for the ESC lead to the LiPo batt? Male/Female? I cannot find that specific Carisma LiPo batt in my area, or anywhere in Europe. Carisma doesn't even offer it on their site at the moment. Maybe I can make an adapter and use the Reaction 2S 7.4v 350mah batt in the SCX-24 as I have several of those. Any info would be appreciated.

I've finally found some suitable ones for the upgrade, even a 450mAh which is only marginally heavier then a 350. Did you have to do anything with the ESC when you made the switch?

Blu tac is best to lock these little diffs. You csn remove it as you please.
