Heather, I just finished making your recipe and it is terrific!!!! I used a few more ounces of cranberries and 6 tablespoons of RealFruit Classic Pectin instead of what you used and it came awesome!!! It set up perfectly, better than any other jam I have done in the past. It is absolutely delicious! I got four 8 oz jars and a little more than five 4 oz jars. I'm definitely going to make this again. I did not use any pepper seeds because my wife does not like hot hot food but she loves this recipe. Thank you for taking the time to show us how.

Since finding your video in December, I've made this for Christmas presents. Everyone wants more. I even tweaked it and made a tropical peach pepper jelly.. It's a HUGE hit. My 97 year old Grandmother says it's the best jam she has ever had. To me that was a complement beyond measure, as she canned when I was younger. Love your videos 😁

Thank you! It took me forever to find a recipe I can make for my step father! He only lies the canned cranberry sauce. I make a nice cranberry sauce but its got "stuff" in it and he just wants the jellied kind. I asked a bunch of YT canners and they did not answer me. I was asking if I could just use clear gel or pectin. You not only answered all my questions, but you showed what it looks like after the canning process! Something I was also looking for. THANK YOU. I love your vids you are a great teacher!

I made this cranberry jalapeño jelly today and I did it a bit differently. I couldn't get to my pectin so I googled cranberry jelly without pectin. I didn't have the energy to go to the store!! I used the recipe without pectin and only added 1 jalapeño, gave enough heat for me. I boiled for 4 minutes at a full rolling boil then turned off heat and moved the pan from the heat. I made 3 batches, got 12 jars. I waterbathed them for 10 min and let sit for 5. It thickened up and set up well. I was so happy. All I used was cranberries, 1 jalapeno,
water, and sugar. I also remembered to add the bit if butter.. no foam, no coloring and mine turned out beautiful! It is a bit tart, but soooo good. Thank you for making me want to make it. I've never cooked cranberries, they sound funny when they pop. So that's my "renegade" recipe. I did as you suggested and checked out a lot of recipes and wound up using the one with no pectin. Heather, I so appreciate all of your hints and cooking lessons. 💜💜 4 minutes is a long time to stir. I did use an immersion blender to break up the berries.

Oh Heather! We ALL love your videos. The longer the better! We know your littles keep you super busy so we cherish everything you put out there! Don't EVER apologize girl! To all those that don't like the long videos let me direct you to that little red dot below. Did you know that by dragging that little red dot to the right you can fast forward the video? The wonders of technology eh!? LOL

Cranberries are my absolute favorite fruit. They’re small, Tart, sour AND bitter...just like me! 😄😄😄
Love your king talky canning videos. I’ve missed them. You somehow fell off my RUclips feed and I’ve not seen you for a while. Thanks RUclips. Haha! Glad you appeared with a cranberry recipe. Thanks so much for all you do. You are very much appreciated.
Yiuvshoukd also know that in regard to your long talky videos, they’re appreciated for another reason. I recently had eye surgery and haven’t been able to look st a screen or read or anything firvabout 4 weeks and you are very pleasant to listen to. I’ve had to listen to way too many news programs about Trump & Obama & caravans and, well the list goes on. This was a welcome break from that business. I’m able to look at things for a short time now so I’m trying my best to write intelligently. However, the speech to text function on the smarter-than-me phone doesn’t always understand my hillbilly verbiage. I apologize for anything that may seem weird or meanvir offensive...it certainly wasn’t dictated that way. Hahaha!
    Thanks again!
