Ohhh yess! Diddy Kong Racing was one of the most mechanically intensive kart racers of the time! I highly recommend people watch speedruns just to see how hardcore it can get. Thanks for this video man!
Man, it was great watching this. This game was my childhood & it has finally provided me with answers for the plethora of questions that I had as a kid. It may sound weird, but thanks. It feels great to finally put many of these questions to rest.

RC Pro-AM was quite literally my childhood thank you very much. :P Still has my vote for best NES racing title. Great video as always friend! I get so excited every time I see a new upload from you!
i'm probably gonna be one of about 5,000 people saying this, but just fyi, it's pronounced "pro-am" phonetically as in "i am here" - not a.m. like the time of day. it's short for "professional/amateur" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pro-am - great video content-wise as always though (:
16:50 The games development took place while banjo was in development but before conker was thought up. It finished after conker got his official name. Timber was the lead character in Pro Am 64 and was originally going to be the main character with banjo as the guest appearance, everyone else was in the original cast.
Easily one of my favourite games as a kid. I'm glad we got the version we did, but it would be pretty cool if the beta island was still hidden in the cart just like the 'Citadel' was in GoldenEye 007!
I'm willing to bet the WizPig door at 16:16 was actually the original way to get to Future Fun Land. It's in the exact spot where you teleport there from the main overworld.
Seriously, this game made me a gamer. It was my first game, my now dead grandparents bought me the N64 with a DKR bundle, and I played hundreds of hours of this gem. The cartridge doesn't work anymore, sadly.
Those balloons with the characters on them at 17:00 would have been for unlocking characters on tracks, because much like the keys they would have had them too.
Time travel and cavemen? Now what game have i heard that concept from before... Was it about a modern stone-age family where 2 characters get captured by an evil scientist that got there by a time machine, but he broke it and a character named Fred has to find pieces for the time machine to get the 2 characters back & it was also a game where people made a bootlegged version of the game and a Popular RUclipsr reviewed it and it has became the most grand meme of all time? and the game was on the NES? Nah, that cant be right.... :)
It sounds familiar, but I can't put my finger on it. Your profile picture is oddly familiar as well. This is all very suspicious. Almost as if it's some kind of conspiracy.
Wizpig Door: Before the ship to get up into space to get to Wizpig, you used that door. Either a placeholder or possibly means to be a teleporter to get up there. Red Balloon Sign: Knowing Rare, the sign was to say "Hit me with the missile".You would get a red missile from somewhere and destroy that sign and something would trigger. That's my guess. 30/60 Signs: I think just meant to act as if as traffic signs to say how fast/slow you should be going in certain areas. Probably realized there's no point to them (or maybe were planned to be used for Twilight/Star City). For the Boss Statues, I would assume they were to unlock something after you beat the boss. As in you see those boss statues there as the first one you would see is Tricky because Dino Domain you would head to 1st... and then you would head to the others and so on and so forth. I would assume the other bosses had one too and after beating each one the statue either disappears or destroyed or whatever to show....... whatever the hell they were meant for to begin with. Horseshow Gulch I would assume was meant to be a cutscene area. Maybe the racers would be shown driving around and then Wizpig comes down and you see that he has come to invade the place. Then the racers then decide to go and face him. And just for some reason you were able to play around with it through patching and such, but it wasn't actually meant to be played in the 1st place.
Dano Im not arguing but videos can be made in under a day. I video edit for a friends channel. I don't fully believe that DYKG ripped off Beta64 but you are a bit of a fool if you didn't think that it was at least a little shady. I mean even most of the facts are even presented in the same order. It's just a little too coincidental for me to be conferable with, and I will give DYKG the benifit of the doubt unless something like that happens again. Regardless i'm probably not going to stop watching either channel's content.
Darian Alexander Videos of this scale can't be made in one day or two. It involves way too much organization and research for that. You're also totally ignoring the fact that several people are working on each video. Which is very different from one guy editing the video of an other when it's done. Having the same subject isn't very relevant when the game is as popular as SMW. That's the kind of thing a retro channel will do eventually. And Mario has been pretty relevant this year after the release of Super mario maker Finally, the facts can't be presented in any random order. There has to be some logic to it. The facts are mostly presented in the chronological order of the different phases of development. Shocking... And do you trully think a big channel like that would be stupid enough to rip the other off intentionally? That would be suicidal if proven true. So no. At this point, it's not even reasonable to imply one ripped the other off.
I'm glad you covered this game-It's one of my favorites! I used to research this game, since its TCRF page was so surprisingly lacking despite its development history! I didn't find too much, sadly, but this video brings a lot more to the table than I could find!
Really cool video. Having played (and owned) the original RC Pro-Am for the NES, it's a bit disappointing to find out that they changed the game. But in the end DKR was still awesome. One thing that bugged me throughout the entire video though, was how you pronounced Pro-Am as "Pro A M". It sounds just like it's spelled: Pro-Am.
I think for a channel that has such good research this is a pathetic oversight that grates on the ears...seeing as how he says it almost once every three minutes.
EVERYBODY'S DIDDY KONG RACING TRY TO KEEP YOUR WHEELS RIGHT ON THE GROUND! *EDIT:* took some advice from a reply which i neglected to take the advice from and changed it and also corrected a mishearing. also added an exclamation mark *EDIT 2:* reworded edit 1 a bit to make it clearer what i meant
Horseshoe gulch looks like the intro, where wizpig is chasing the characters, looks like it especially wizpig being present there too, I bet some of these hidden levels have something to do with the intro
16:59 These balloons were likely for picking a character and these were placeholders. The missing 3 were likely not programmed in yet or was before it became Diddy king racing
I mean, you KNOW what kind of results you're gonna get by posting that poll on a video like this, right? It's gotta be RHYTHM TENGOKU! Every Diddy Kong Racing fan's OTHER favorite game!
I think that "The Lagoon" is an unfinished version of the battle track of the 3rd world, because the layout of the 2 just match pretty good and they are very similar to each other.
Some dudes get to think that companies are evil for deleting stuff that wasn^t part of the game, but let me tell you, memory does matter and loading times and game experience improved thanks to this
The reason why twilight city was renamed to star city was because of the audio distortion/compression on some televisions at the time. TT was misheard to say "Toilet shitty", a relic of this is looking at the old audio files for star city and hearing TT calling it "Star shitty".
4:05 Also for Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance. Unused name of Star City is called Twilight City. It got that from Wave Race 64. 24:18 I collected the golden balloon that should take care of it.
I have an interesting question that I've been wondering since I started playing the game as a kid. At 29:03 you only go through the right side of a split path of the track "Frosty Village" which you had mentioned a split path on one of the unused tracks. Do you have any research to shed some light on THAT particular situation? Is there a plane path there too? Because I have no idea why it is there in the FINAL game since you can't even access it.
Funny enough, while the rare coins were replaced by the bananas and left unused. It became the opposite in the DS remake. In the Remake. The Rare coins are actually used and replace the bananas
Im pretty sure the door with wizpigs face was an early boss door and the Sign with a balloon on it was supposed to warn the player that Item balloons were up ahead
28:13 i found a lot of the game to be too difficult as a kid so I would spend a lot of time just using the jukebox cheat to listen to all the tracks and sfx, always wondered where this track fit, because of the violin i assumed it was drumsticks theme as i could only ever do the walrus race and never unlocked him.
This game is so underrated. It actually had a storyline as opposed to Mario Kart, which was mostly about fun. That's not to say there was anything wrong with that. Just that DKR was more complex. Great video, man. You got another subscriber!
jevansturner yes, and it annoyed the hell out of me. As did the part were he said the mammoth is riding a trite, but shows a picture of it riding a Vespa.
Yeah, this clueless little kid beta 64 is DEFINITELY showing his age, mispronouncing it. You can tell he grew up with n64, NOT the NES. it makes me cringe.
16:18 I think that may be an early final boss door, considering Wizpig is on it... So maybe instead of going in the mouth of the island, you would go through this door instead.
One of the 1st video games I ever played when I got my N64 when I was 4. Also, future fun land may have been intended to have a battle stage cause there’s an area in one of its tracks that would house a battle key.
great work mate!!! there's a lots of curiosities on games dev, really love to see someone out there doing researchs around great titles of my childhood! :) conker was so innocent those days lol
* Opens playing as conker * how did you know my main and how his turns are so awkward that you have to pretty much learn how to play him compared to other racers.
Since I loved Diddy Kong Racing so much, I vote Donkey Kong Racing! After all, it's one of those incredibly cool, rare cases in gaming history.. Won't say much more for anyone who hasn't heard of it, but it'd make a great video!
Rhythm Tengoku would be awesome for the next video! I remember importing it years ago back in high school, and it was of course a fantastic game :). Still probably my favourite one in the series.
I think the character balloons were for character specific abilities, but it was too difficult to program, the signs... uhh maybe overworld Golden Balloon challenges?
alright, i have sam ideos. 1. Could have been used for getting into the final race with Wizpig. 2. Maybe a bonus area? A area that requires a special balloon to access? 3,4. This would have fitted in a city area, although I have never played this game. 5. Decoration 6. Maybe these allow the players to unlock characters, as some are missing, and probably the starters. (maybe stolen) 7. B64 said it already. 8,9,10. saim 11,12,13. For reference, look at "5".
I think people should just be happy that both consoles offered a similar idea and therefore people could experience an adventure racer without any envy during that time.
Actually Diddy Kong Racing was released 2 years earlier then CTR meaning Naughty Dog stole the idea of rare hence why they look similar. And yeah i actually do know speedfreaks wich was quite a good game, enjoyed it very much back in the day.
6:34 here go the final one 6:38 here go the early one of the time when banjo and krash/krunch appears notice in the final version he does some animations in the early version hes missing the extra animations
Yep. That was the Twelve Tales version of Conker. Diddy Kong Racing was also supposed to be used to market Banjo-Kazooie and Twelve Tales: Conker 64 since those games were planned for a 1998 release. While Banjo was released, Conker was delayed until it was eventually retooled into Conker's Bad Fur Day. Rare was also hoping that some of the other characters would become popular enough for their own future games.
That's true but it wasn't his game. If I had to guess, I would say Tip Tup was already set to appear in Banjo-Kazooie at the time and using him meant that the developers didn't have to spend time coming up with another character. I think a big mystery is Krunch. In the final game, it was established that he is a Kremling who was sent to spy on Diddy Kong, but what was his origin story before there was Diddy? I guess we'll never know.
I love hearing about the evolution of Rare's games during their development. The creative process is so fascinating. I don't think you see this kind of creativity anymore outside of the initial planning of a game because of how expensive development has become. I could be wrong but I don't any developer today would change the entire genre of a game in the middle of development nor would they change the lead character and the overall theme of the game a mere four months before release.
What an awesome video! I really loved all the beta info, even the development stuff. Pacing & personality were there too. You obviously did a lot of research, & it made for an informative & entertaining watch. :)
He s talking of the (sadly) unreleased Donkey Kong Racing featured on several promotion video of the Gamecube, I m really interested of that story now that I think of it...
@That Friendly Nutty Squirrel Named Conker Well if Microsoft is letting Banjo-Kazooie be in smash then maybe they should let Donkey Kong have a chance.
16:17 The Door Might Be Used For The Final Boss Area,The Sign With A Balloon On It Might Be Used A Note To Tell The Player That They Are Near Some [Red] Balloons,And The Other Two Signs Might Be A Warning For The Player To Speed Up Or Slow Down.
For the balloons that go one through to four, they might have labeled what character each player chose, so, if player one picked Diddy, Diddy would hold the number one balloon.
I love the Rare devs' methodology, like, "Well, this isn't really working, is it? Let's scrap the whole thing and do something completely different but with the same assets."
5:35 Maybe the reason why Timber didn't bother to say anything is because he's pissed off at Diddy for taking his spotlight.
May also explain why he seems so angry and turns his head at Diddy.
Oh my god you’re right!
This is one of my favorite racing games of all time. I enjoyed it a lot more than Mario Kart 64.
It's probably the best 64 racing game. It also has a fantastic soundtrack that I think they ruined in the DS remake
TrunksWD same
+Desolation Soundtrack? Don't you mean...
*_TRACKS!?_*
I'll leave now.
My profile picture is still cropped out Pokeporn wtf...

Jeremy Higgins Possible, but Conker's game was originally named ''Twelve Tales'' not '''Twisted Tales'', but it's easy to make mistakes though.
Ohhh yess! Diddy Kong Racing was one of the most mechanically intensive kart racers of the time! I highly recommend people watch speedruns just to see how hardcore it can get. Thanks for this video man!
i really thought you said, OH yes yesss daddy.
Man, it was great watching this. This game was my childhood & it has finally provided me with answers for the plethora of questions that I had as a kid. It may sound weird, but thanks. It feels great to finally put many of these questions to rest.
If you mind me asking, what were some of these questions?
Diddy Kong Racing is , and always will be, LEAPS and bounds better than Mario Kart 64. Don't get me wrong, I liked MK64, and have tons of fond memories, I just think DKR is a more complete game.
I find MK to not be much fun. DKR has immense replay-ability
Nah, DKR controls are wacky, the tracks are too short.
The multiplayer battle mode its good tho
The relationship between Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong Racing is basically the same between MK64 and Crash Team Racing. Both are superior to Mario Kart 64 but both owe a ton to MK64. Mario Kart 64 was a proof of concept to the entire 3d kart racer genre and I have a hard time believing the other two would exist without it.
You my friend don’t quite have it right. Diddy Kong Racing is better then any Mario Kart game.
Guess we'll have to agree to disagree
16:46 I have a theory about those Characters Balloons... Perhaps they were Hidden in some Stage and if you happen to find one it would unlock a character.
gabriel montreuil maybe including certain races Tht fits the. Charecter
That could also explain why Diddy, T.T., and Conker would be missing.
If this is true, then it could only have been for multiplayer. The game was originally about Timber, so, for adventure, this seems unlikely.
18:55 I feel like those statues might be an early thing for the trophy rush, so instead of getting a trophy in the final, a statue would let you know that you won.
I'm sure there's comments out there...but it's not "A.M.". It's pronounced like the word "am". Pro-am means "professionals and amateurs" (with regard to racing).
Otherwise, great stuff!
Came to the comments for this!
Alright, I'll take a crack at those stuff without an explanation.

RC Pro-AM was quite literally my childhood thank you very much. :P Still has my vote for best NES racing title. Great video as always friend! I get so excited every time I see a new upload from you!
always look forward to your videos Andrew. keep up the good work as always. ya never disappoint.
+Stevie Roder I really appreciate that. Thank you. 😊
Your extremely welcome. 😊
i'm probably gonna be one of about 5,000 people saying this, but just fyi, it's pronounced "pro-am" phonetically as in "i am here" - not a.m. like the time of day. it's short for "professional/amateur" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pro-am - great video content-wise as always though (:

The games development took place while banjo was in development but before conker was thought up.
The reason why it's in that place is only for showcasing purposes

Seriously, this game made me a gamer. It was my first game, my now dead grandparents bought me the N64 with a DKR bundle, and I played hundreds of hours of this gem. The cartridge doesn't work anymore, sadly.
Those balloons with the characters on them at 17:00 would have been for unlocking characters on tracks, because much like the keys they would have had them too.
Time travel and cavemen? Now what game have i heard that concept from before...
Was it about a modern stone-age family where 2 characters get captured by an evil scientist that got there by a time machine, but he broke it and a character named Fred has
to find pieces for the time machine to get the 2 characters back & it was also a game where people made a bootlegged version of the game and a Popular RUclipsr reviewed it and it has became the most grand meme of all time? and the game was on the NES? Nah, that cant be right....
:)

That Horseshoe Gulch theory sounds very plausible to me!
Great video, I didn't know any of this stuff about Diddy Kong Racing's constantly shifting development.
Oh and...I vote for Donkey Kong Racing!!!
Fuck I just saw that statue
Casting my vote for Donkey Kong Racing, as well.
Anyone else notice the sega saturn esq symbols on the statues?
So glad you covered Diddy Kong Racing. It'sone of my favorite games of all time and is, in my opinion, the best kart racing game on the N64.
Can't wait for the Did You Know Gaming knock off version of this video tomorrow.
Darian Alexander If you're right then I'll remember.
Cyrule Cyrule Give it a day or so. They may not do it like they did with the Super Mario World video. They got caught red handed last time. lol
Except videos don't get made in just a few days, and both DYKG and Beta64 said it was a coincidence.
Darian Alexander
Videos of this scale can't be made in one day or two.
And Mario has been pretty relevant this year after the release of Super mario maker
Finally, the facts can't be presented in any random order.
14:10 early version of the covid-19.
Was just about to head to sleep but I saw this so, I gotta watch this first! :p
Late night posting FTW! XD

I agree. It's short for PROfessional - AMateur. Should never be "PRO AYE-Emm"!
I was right about the pronunciation!
I think for a channel that has such good research this is a pathetic oversight that grates on the ears...seeing as how he says it almost once every three minutes.

Thank you for all your hard work finding the info for this beta, Andrew. I always look forward to your videos.
EVERYBODY'S DIDDY KONG RACING TRY TO KEEP YOUR WHEELS RIGHT ON THE GROUND!
*EDIT:* took some advice from a reply which i neglected to take the advice from and changed it and also corrected a mishearing. also added an exclamation mark
*EDIT 2:* reworded edit 1 a bit to make it clearer what i meant
The Iron Golem
You mean, "Gotta keep your wheels right on the ground"?
Yeah!
**[insert Diddy Kong Racing related meme]**
-woah comment revival-
when you're diddy kong racing, there's no time to look around!
Horseshoe gulch looks like the intro, where wizpig is chasing the characters, looks like it especially wizpig being present there too, I bet some of these hidden levels have something to do with the intro
Great episode. It's cool to see how many things changed in this game.
16:59
These balloons were likely for picking a character and these were placeholders. The missing 3 were likely not programmed in yet or was before it became Diddy king racing
Did watch it before be mentioned huh?
EmrahAlien yeah. I felt stupid noticing that. And this comment i made is a reminder of my stupidity
I mean, you KNOW what kind of results you're gonna get by posting that poll on a video like this, right? It's gotta be RHYTHM TENGOKU! Every Diddy Kong Racing fan's OTHER favorite game!
Every DKR fan I know also loves Rhythm Heaven. The only DKR fan I know is me, but still.
I think that "The Lagoon" is an unfinished version of the battle track of the 3rd world, because the layout of the 2 just match pretty good and they are very similar to each other.
Rhythm Tengoku, please. The series needs more coverage
Desolation There isn't that much, but I think Megamix and Fever would be good.
Oh god yes that series is way underrated.
Beta64 is pulling an A+Start by putting humor into a complex video style. To be honest, it fits in pretty well. Good Work Beta!
Just a quick note, it's pronounced Pro-Am, not Pro A.M. "Am" in this case, is meant to be short for amateur.
Soooooo "Eigh Emm".
Got it 👍
in X-SAMPA (what i use for sound represanteation) pr/oU {m
Some dudes get to think that companies are evil for deleting stuff that wasn^t part of the game, but let me tell you, memory does matter and loading times and game experience improved thanks to this
the wizpig door might have been a access point for his boss race. the charecter baloons could have been the way to unlock charecters in pro am 64
donkey kong racing
This game was absolutely perfect between the characters, adventure twist on a racing game, and music! Countless hours of my childhood. Great video!
''Dino falls'' looks really cool would have been awesome if it was finnished
The reason why twilight city was renamed to star city was because of the audio distortion/compression on some televisions at the time.
TT was misheard to say "Toilet shitty", a relic of this is looking at the old audio files for star city and hearing TT calling it "Star shitty".
Donkey Kong Racing!
Press start!
I second that, that'd be really interesting to see.
That was going to be a thing
TheFlyingSteamtrain999 you MLG!
isnt sherbet island in mario kart??? so they did copy it
4:05 Also for Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance.
Unused name of Star City is called Twilight City.
It got that from Wave Race 64.
24:18 I collected the golden balloon that should take care of it.
8:38 in the final version the two trees are missing from the early one!
I wonder if the Mammoth Character from 'Pro-AM 64' served as the Design Inspiration for Taj the Genie?
Funny enough, while the rare coins were replaced by the bananas and left unused. It became the opposite in the DS remake.
In the Remake. The Rare coins are actually used and replace the bananas
I think that mammoth is riding a Vespa, not a trike. i mean look: 2:53 the wheels are aligned.
Does it sound strange to everyone else when he says "A M" instead of "am?" Everyone I know says "Pro Am" (like "Pontiac Grand Am").
jevansturner yes, and it annoyed the hell out of me. As did the part were he said the mammoth is riding a trite, but shows a picture of it riding a Vespa.
It made me wonder if I've been saying it wrong by saying "am" instead of "A. M." Glad it's not just me!
Yeah, this clueless little kid beta 64 is DEFINITELY showing his age, mispronouncing it. You can tell he grew up with n64, NOT the NES. it makes me cringe.
@@cadendidgamingiguess9900 Because we look down on little kids who are ignorant and don't do enough research. That's life kid.
Great video as always, dude! It was a great watch to wind down on my Friday night tonight.
I seen it too
did anyone spot the nintendo 64 coin at 9:39
great work mate!!! there's a lots of curiosities on games dev, really love to see someone out there doing researchs around great titles of my childhood! :) conker was so innocent those days lol
* Opens playing as conker *
how did you know my main and how his turns are so awkward that you have to pretty much learn how to play him compared to other racers.
What a truly fascinating video, definitely not dragged out. "This thing used to be blue, now its red in the final version". ZZZZZZZZ
Since I loved Diddy Kong Racing so much, I vote Donkey Kong Racing! After all, it's one of those incredibly cool, rare cases in gaming history.. Won't say much more for anyone who hasn't heard of it, but it'd make a great video!
Imagine if Diddy Kong Racing comes on Switch and Microsoft allows Banjo and Conker to come back
2:45 it Looks Like Snuffy From Sesame Street But With Tusks on Him.
Despite being 5 years later the only other info we have of the map was at 8:55 where you can see the layout of the map
Rhythm Tengoku would be awesome for the next video! I remember importing it years ago back in high school, and it was of course a fantastic game :). Still probably my favourite one in the series.
16:17 I suppose this is how you would have originally gotten to Future Funland, or your first race against Wizpig.
Voting for #2, Donkey Kong Racing
I think the character balloons were for character specific abilities, but it was too difficult to program, the signs... uhh maybe overworld Golden Balloon challenges?
Ooh, do Rhythm Tengoku, I love me that game
Nice seeing you here.
I think he did it
This comment is underrated in a impressive way
alright, i have sam ideos.
1. Could have been used for getting into the final race with Wizpig.
2. Maybe a bonus area? A area that requires a special balloon to access?
3,4. This would have fitted in a city area, although I have never played this game.
5. Decoration
6. Maybe these allow the players to unlock characters, as some are missing, and probably the starters. (maybe stolen)
7. B64 said it already.
8,9,10. saim
11,12,13. For reference, look at "5".
This game is much better than Crash team racing
for psx best: Speed Freaks
for n64 best: Diddy Kong Racing
I think people should just be happy that both consoles offered a similar idea and therefore people could experience an adventure racer without any envy during that time.
*****
u need to play speed freaks/speed punks on ps1
Actually Diddy Kong Racing was released 2 years earlier then CTR meaning Naughty Dog stole the idea of rare hence why they look similar. And yeah i actually do know speedfreaks wich was quite a good game, enjoyed it very much back in the day.
MY MAN! Speed Freaks was the shit!
They tested CTR by building a mock-up of a DKR track.
6:34 here go the final one 6:38 here go the early one of the time when banjo and krash/krunch appears notice in the final version he does some animations in the early version hes missing the extra animations
Loaded question maybe? But I'll bite. Donkey Kong Racing.
Man, when I was a kid I saw that trailer for Donkey Kong Racing and I got so hyped. I waited and waited forever but it never released. RIP
I get so excited when another Beta64 video gets released and my knowledge gets expanded even more Thanks Andrew
2:08
why
damn thing gave me a heart attack
*"Hi it's Krunch."*
Also 20:30 tracks looks fun
I love d k racing!!!
when I say "d k'' I mean donkey kong.
Donkey Kong racing was cancelled YEARS AGO.
12:30 notice how T.T. is also missing?
oh shit that squirell was actually conker. dayumn
Tip Tup the Turtle did appear in Banjo Kazooie.
I thought it was in Banjo Tooie
He was in both.
14:11 CORONA PREDICTED
What an awesome video! I really loved all the beta info, even the development stuff. Pacing & personality were there too. You obviously did a lot of research, & it made for an informative & entertaining watch. :)
Pro-Am. Am, not A- M. Like Bam without the 'B'. :) Short for amateur. Pro-AM = Professional-Amateur. :)
16:47 I think this balloons characters might be on life counter in a unused and battle state
The history of Donkey Kong Racing seems interesting. Last bit of quality Rareware before Microsoft f*cked them
He s talking of the (sadly) unreleased Donkey Kong Racing featured on several promotion video of the Gamecube, I m really interested of that story now that I think of it...
Could we ever get it now with the Nintendo switch?
@That Friendly Nutty Squirrel Named Conker Well if Microsoft is letting Banjo-Kazooie be in smash then maybe they should let Donkey Kong have a chance.
16:18 I think this was going to be the door to the 1st wizpig race
Rhythm Tengoku. Go with Rhythm Tengoku since I'm a huge fan of Rhythm Heaven.
Donkey kong racing!
Thanks for the video! I'll be voting for Donkey Kong Racing!
"pro ay em"
*sigh*
so glad to see something for the n64 again!!!! getting back to your roots
I always chose Timba the Tiger when playing 19 years ago, cuz I though he was the coolest
Whitefright my ^
Timber?
For the balloons that go one through to four, they might have labeled what character each player chose, so, if player one picked Diddy, Diddy would hold the number one balloon.
That donkey is freaking creepy.
fantastic video and great work digging around for all this information. Alot of this I had no idea about.
