While some good voices, it wasn't professional, and there were moments where they were very "off"; hwr, I think it was organized with great heart and that was the real gift - that they all, happily, participated :-) What a memorable moment for all; thoroughly enjoyed the sentiment. We had seven singers (two of whom had performed on Broadway), all of whom were dear friends and working actors. The songs were all love songs from Broadway musicals. That was 34 years ago. This clip was beautiful because of the love behind it. What a lovely gift!
I did, when I taught guitar and voice. My students didn't start out singing this well, or playing guitar, but with a lot of work, they learned and I was so proud of them!

Javert wants to squash the Revolution and is gloating a little about how he's infiltrated their ranks, the Revolutionaries want to win and overthrow the current regime, Cosette wants Marius as their relationship just began and now he's about to be in battle, Eponine is lamenting Marius not being by her side (she's been crushing on him forever, but he is oblivious and in love with Cosette), Valjean wants to take Cosette away from the impending battle and live peacefully, Marius is torn between the Revolution and Cosette, the Thernadiers are sleazy, greedy slimeballs who can't wait to loot the corpses. Kind of an odd song for a wedding, Unless . . . the bride and / or groom are Les Mis fans (I'm guessing at Least the bride is, given her reactions), in which case it's quite an amazing gift to make their wedding even more memorable than it already would have been. Les Mis is a fantastic story and the music is no less amazing. If you like musicals at all you'll be hooked. I can tell you from personal experience... if you're a member of a choir/showchoir/etc, there will be SO MANY fantastic singers at your wedding 😂
This is not just random people who sing in their bathroom. This has to experienced and/or educated singers. Be it in a choir or something similar.
Obviously the couple are part of the arts, to have this many incredible voices in attendance!!!
