I couldn't agree more it's my favourite musical ever and it truly is an incredible piece of theatre. The songs are all so poignant and characters so well developed its an all round amazing piece of art! 🌟🙌🏼
I have been following Les Mis since its inception with The Royal Shakespeare Company,30 years back, and I'm reduced to tears each time I hear any version of this rousing song.
I would have loved and been so incredibly honoured to have caught this! Floods of tears just watching and think about people who are listening live who financially will never otherwise have the chance.
I know you wrote this 7 years ago but you didn't need the qualifier, "for local theater". These folks are amazing, full stop. Yeah it's Young Cosette from the show and her real life dad, helping to record the singing with his phone (he answered my post elsewhere here, seemed real).
It wasn't until the second or third time I watched that I realized she is young Cosette / Eponine. I bet it was fun for her dad to be part of the song.

Twenty Two Jetskis OHMYGOD I KNOW RIGHT? he kinda looks like Logan Lerman
Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots, and Les Mis....... Can I be your best friend?
Not gonna lie, this is my favorite song on the entire soundtrack. It has always struck something deep within me.
Same here, along with "Do You Hear The People Sing"
This song is, in my estimation, in maybe a 3 or 4 way tie for Best Act One Closer in musical history.
I've yet to come across a rendition of this piece that doesn't bring tears to my eyes. I'd go so far as to say that Les Miserables is the greatest complete musical work that has ever been written, or at the very least the greatest one I've ever had the privilege to hear.
I couldn't agree more it's my favourite musical ever and it truly is an incredible piece of theatre. The songs are all so poignant and characters so well developed its an all round amazing piece of art! 🌟🙌🏼
donna laino Yes?
I have been following Les Mis since its inception with The Royal Shakespeare Company,30 years back, and I'm reduced to tears each time I hear any version of this rousing song.
Kansasforlife Somehow the unity of voices just bowls me over

I would have loved and been so incredibly honoured to have caught this! Floods of tears just watching and think about people who are listening live who financially will never otherwise have the chance.
"UGH i hate musicals like who breaks outt into song randomly?!"
me: *shows this video*
well that is 🎶the stupidest thing that i have ever heard🎶
When you shouldn't hit "reply." When you're peeing all over 10,000,000 people's Wheaties.
you're doing a play, got something to say, so you sing it???? it's OBSURD!!!
Real life would be so much better if people randomly breaked out into song whenever emotion got to out hand
bean tree if you can,t say anything nice ...shutup!!!
For local theater these guys are amazing.
TristanandIsolt I think local theaters really do great things. They're really good and create magical atmospheres.
local theatre produces some of the greatest magic that goes unnoticed by the rest of the world!
I know you wrote this 7 years ago but you didn't need the qualifier, "for local theater". These folks are amazing, full stop. Any of them could slide in to Broadway or Apollo Victoria and no one would bat an eye. That it's a local production just means the locals are lucky and should take advantage by seeing them often.
@@seanaguilar2057 They're not Broadway/West End good.
In case you don't realize that's Davis Gaines singing the role of Javert. He played the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway probably longer than anyone else in the history of the show. He is a brilliant brilliant tenor.
His voice was definitely the one that stood out to me, levels above the rest!

Eponine holding Starbucks is the only thing I need in life
for some reason I feel like she forgot why she was at the mall in the first place so she just bought some starbucks but then realised where she was meant to be and was like "oh shoot! I was meant to be at the thing but I'm holding starbucks....Oh screw em I can sing and hold starbucks"
i started screaming and my dad just came in and with his limited English speaking abilities he quietly said "are you... idiot?" im hyperventilating
Your dad is awesome.
Twenty One Phantoms of the Opera I see you in the comment section of like anything that has to do with les mis
I relate so much to your username and your comment
This is my all-time favorite musical. I only have one word to describe this performance... CHILLS!
This was the song that got me hooked on Les Mis more than 30 years ago. It still gives me goosebumps.
For me it was do you hear the people sing? Great song.
Me too
Shoplifters must've had a field day during this hahaha
Utube Filler OMG!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This was in the center by the front entrance. Not many stores right there. Mostly restaurants.
They're called Thenadiers
Was there a witness to this? Well, let him speak to Javert

But they will answer to the court only when there is made a full report !
my favorite flash mob ever.
Mine too 😊😊
+Lotte Larsen I love les mis
Made me smile in 2021 and everyone needs that closeness again x
I don't know why I lost it when the dude started waving the flag 😂
Crona J. SAME!!😭😂
It's a good thing he woke up that day and said "ya know what i think i'll bring my big red flag to the mall today just 'cause"
Eponine with a starbucks lol that made me laugh
エポニーヌ歌うますぎる……
アンジョルラスめちゃくちゃかっこいい……

I'm in tears. .
The tears of unrelented joy, I can't express this kind of joy I just experienced 😊😊.. these shoppers are so lucky to receive a world class entertainment 🎁
just imagining if when they stopped singing there was an akward silence 😂 😂
Ellie Mills
Ellie Mills if that happened it would be time for the human race to check out.
Ellie Mills lol
And then that one person (all of us) starts cheering their butt off
Isabella Phillips feel like that would be me. No one appreciates musicals at my school. There are maybe like 5 people who like hamilton
I love that this is still getting comments four years on. It's sooo good...
I love how they just walk away like that amazing thing didn't happen
That's the point of a flash mob, you act like it never happened after
My favourite Musical of all time - and I’ve seen many (just edging out Fiddler on the Roof). I think I’ve seen Les Miz 4 or 5 times…it never gets old. This Company just freakin NAILED that. Awesome voices. What a TREAT for those in the Mall that day. As someone else posted - that was a $110. a seat quality. Well Done, All !
Anyone else notices that the dad and girl, in the beginning, were a part of the show? I just thought for the past five years that they were innocent bystanders that just got bombarded by people in Florida singing about the french revolution.
I've seen endless versions of this song, stage, movie, flashmob. But that was easily the best final chord I've heard
WHY IS IT THAT IN EVERY SINGLE LES MIS PERFORMANCE I HAVE EVER SEEN ENJOLRAS IS ALWAYS HOT AS HELL?! I MEAN I KNOW HE WAS DISCRIBED AS INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL IN THE BRICK BUT C'MON. THIS ENJOLRAS IS ALSO SO HOT WHAT THE FUCCCCC
In the brick? I'm guessing you meant book?
@@ludameri1384 yeah fans call the book "the brick" because it's so fuckin big
@@Dani-it9vc ooh, thanks for the info, I can see why it's called the brick it's massive
I read the unabridged version, and never knew it was called the Brick....so appropriate. And you need to check out the Polish flash mob from Warsaw, it's my favorite one, even though I don't speak a word of Polish (outside of certain swear words my friends have taught me).

The brick! Lol true!
I cannot tell you how many times I've watched this! It is just so wonderful. And the voices!!!
Flag game is strong!

Color guard.
Waved it way too early tho
Wrong colour though
0:51 that gal jumping on the left though
WOAH REALIZED SHE'S ONE OF THE SINGERS AT 2:31
GreyWolfEmber thx for the time stamp
How on Earth can someone give a thumb down to this performance???
I didn't notice until you mentioned it, over a thousand... Wow!
Well some people couldn't hear themselves while SPEAKING TO THE MANAGER!
@@rickiebobbyify 😂 Well thanks for that flash of laughter! xD
I have no idea 👍🏻👍🏻
Wow, wish I could have seen this. Absolutely amazing voices, with the individual members parts being perfectly sang. A very highly done performance I’m sorry I missed.
声量凄まじいし、歌い終わったあと何事も無かったかのようにはけるのもかっこいいけど、何より驚いたのは巻き込まれた感のある親子があの中に混じってたこと。
Song makes me cry every time. For 25 years.
Me 2. Everytime when everyone is singing "Tomorrow we'll discover what our god in heaven has in store." tears start running.
+ReallyRick Me, too, Rick. This and "Bring Him Home" which is my absolute favorite and also
"I Dreamed A Dream".
There are some hot, hot guys in this theatre company.... Oh, and good singers too!
some hot girls too. that chick in the blue dress. she was fiiiine.
I thought the same. The blond is hot.

I can't believe I live in Orlando and go to this mall all the time and I'm only just now finding out about this
Oh God, how awful. It would be like winning the lottery and losing the ticket!
Eponine with a drink cup and straw--just added to the wonderfulness of these great people!
I guess Enjolras always has to be great looking! In the cosmic contract!
Isn't it nice when a Flash Mob is actually done by professionals? :-)
I'm so glad this was recommended to me.
Enjolras was always my favorite and still is.
K Lu same!!!
Ye ye just walking round the mall casually with an ice tea...then casually just step forward and let that belt out of u....
I’m sorry but I died when I saw the person with the flag _flying_ to their place😂😂😂
Did you see the bouncing girl at the end? She hopped on out of there at 3:39 !
What would have made it funny if it had been a flag for the mall and then some guy dressed all official ran in and tried to retrieve it
so so good and the last bit when they start 'marching' to the crescendo makes me shiver, how many times have I watched this I never get tired, fabulous, well done to all
