Britain's Got Talent 2024 auditions (BGT 2024) is underway and it’s on FIRE! A Remarkable array of talents that rival America's Got Talent (AGT) in its diversity and creativity. The auditions for BGT 2024 were a spectacle in themselves, with moments that remind us of Susan Boyle, Calum Scott and MB14. I’m a South African Australian and every single time I watch the rugby and hear “Land of my Fathers” being sung I’m in tears. There’s something in the Welsh that just sparks the emotions. Good onya you okes 🫡
I am Scottish but the Welsh, a country of the best singers in the world, they touch the soul when they sing, truly a gift from God bestowed upon the country.

My mum is 94 with dementia. She's Welsh and the sound of male voice choirs brings a smile to her face. They hit a place deep in her memory and it's lovely to see.
Being Welsh I can't watch this without a huge amount of pride and with a lump in my throat. I think the accent makes Welsh choirs unique.

I am am from England and traveled to Wales soo many times......the sound of Welsh choirs blew my mind! astounding and amazing, Proud of u guys! u have a talent that cannot be matched in this world! I now live in Australia but u still astounded by u guys! :)

I'm from the old mining valleys down south and remember the miners singing as they were heading home from a shift. It was goosebump on goosebump, especially with the deep voices harmonising with the tenors. Our male Welsh choirs are simply the best.
Simply the best. I agree. I'm going to live in South Wales shortly. Can't wait to be in this land of song where the miners worked so so hard.
My late mother was from near Neath, born and bred in the valleys.
And thank Heaven you are not in a demo'rat town where the feminists would insist on joining the choir!!! Sigh. Vienna Symphony was famous for its all male orchestra and a particular, indefinable quality therein... the nasties finally got their wish... so stay all male, or stay mixed, stay where the VOCAL QUALITY IS HIGHEST!!!

The thing that really really struck me + put me in awe while listening to the voices of these men - was the expression on their faces… all of their beautiful faces. Not one or two. They were ALL IN with passion + joy. Tremendous! 😌 I am so very glad to have had the opportunity to see this rare, but very meaningful performance. It gives + leaves you with hope. Thank you beautiful singers from the bottom of my ❤️.

I was once at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. It was Wales against England, a rugby game. I cannot describe you the way the Welsh sang their National Anthem nor the manic way they played during the game, words cannot describe this, you have to be there to feel and see it.

Absolutely NO ONE SINGS like a Welsh Male Choir! My mother’s mother (nee Jones) came to America with her father on “the boat” from Abertillery, Wales at age 19. My whole life I heard about Welsh male choirs and finally, when I visited Wales for the first time about 10 years ago, I attended a male choir concert my first night. I can only describe it as a cellular experience….my whole being knew I had come home. I know just how these judges felt! ❤❤❤
Singing is an integral part of welsh culture. It isn’t for show (usually). It is an accepted expression of joy, pain and love. It’s apart of who they are. Some of the spontaneous singing I have heard in so many Welsh places, sound like orchestrated harmonies. Beautiful.

At the Welsh Womens' Club in NYC where I performed "A Child's Christmas in Wales" there were moments when before or after I could sit and listen to the conversations in the welsh accents, and it was comparable to listen to Italians speak. Even if not all words were clear, the MUSIC in the conversation and speech patterns was hypnotic.
I preached in Wales for three and a half years and never did I meet a people who loved singing as much as the Welsh.

My Mam was Welsh.. I was born and brought up in England but boy.. I am so proud of my Welsh heritage. We had all the culture in our home. I am in touch with my Welsh relatives all the time to this day and I am 67. Wonderful people.

One of the best vocal ensembles it's ever been my pleasure to hear. And these AMATEURS rehearse Sunday afternoons in a cowshed? They have more stage presence and better voices than a lot of so-called professionals, including the male choristers of the late, unlamented New York City Opera, and almost any other group I can name!
I was fortunate to see and hear a Welsh Choir in Llandudno in 2018. I was blown away with the harmonies and richness of their voices. Whatever is in the water there, keep drinking it😉
No glitz or glamour , just style and class . If ever their was a World Cup for singing - Wales .

I'm from the Netherlands and I'm a big fan of Welsh, Irish, English and Scottish music. They open a can there and there are choirs, singers, actors and so on and then you see normal people, but as soon as they start singing, acting or whatever, the talent drips off. Is there something special in the water or something? Man what a talent. Where was the golden buzzer?

My great grandmother was Welsh. My cousin inherited the Welsh singing voice. He never needs a microphone- his singing outdoors is stupendous. Says he tones it down when in a building unless it’s a large. Most requested song is How Great Thou Art
Bruno Tonioli is so emotive when it is a good performance. This Sicilian loves his reactions and praise. Ti amo Bruno! This really should have been a Golden Buzzer performance but I doubt they will have any problem going to the finals. There is nothing better in this world than a Welsh mans choir, no matter where they come from once heard one you will recognise the brilliance of another one.

My husbands family is from small town in wales. And they are all fantastic singers too. They came to USA in late 1800s to work mines in eastern utah.
I love how that they use facial expressions when they sing.
My dad couldn't carry a tune in a bucket but my siblings and I sang like birds. I'm sure we got it from my mom's Welsh Methodist ancestry.
I wonder about listening to a choir. The music can be beautiful, but I cannot understand a word they sing. This choir fantastic. I heard every word, which easily doubled my pleasure. Thanks guys.

Goosebump time for me. Only the male voice choirs from Wales can make me & my soul feel this way. I was fortunate to experience a male voice choir at my engagement party when they sang, at my request, Danny Boy. I felt the same then as I do listening to them sing now. Thank you.

I love the emotion and feeling they put into the song.
This was a stunning performance so full of joy and musicality. Their diction is wonderful as 99% of songs today are a total mystery because the microphone is right up to the singer's mouth or singing is "covered" trying to produce a certain sound. Many years ago, some of the founding members of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir were Welsh. They joined in Wales and immigrated to Utah. Now I understand what they must have contributed. This sound is amazing, so smooth, and sung with such joyful, but controlled abandon. Thank you for using your gift to make the world a lovelier place.
