It is comforting to know that they got to speak to Nightbirde before she passed and she got to see first hand how much she touched people across the world.
That’s exactly what I thought, how Nightbirde touched so many across the globe in such a spiritual and positive way. What's so amazing about this performance is that, from one heart to a nation - Nightbirde sang a song of hope, strength, and passion...she disarmed 2 nations, fought cancer to the end because really, life is about our mortality and the fact that we are not invincible, but gratitude for the time we have should be magnified, not our differences or selfish impulses. Life is too short NOT to care about others. Come on America, wake up!

Simple costumes, no complex or dirty dance moves, just their amazing, raw talent to shine through. They didn't over complicate it, they just let their talent speak for itself.

This song for all those suffering from cancer, Nightbirde wrote it because she was in pain but wanted people to know that she's not the only one. Today I cry because I think of my grandma, my best friend, and Nightbirde. This is pain in my heart wishing I could have taken their pain away to give them life but their lives continue in our hearts. Nightbirde heart warming song continues in our forever.
Night bird got her second golden buzzer. She lives on in them. What a beautiful choir beautiful voices and what better way to say I’m not gone just in a different form.

Agree, been saying this for years. He was never mean to me, just honest and direct, which is how it is in the music industry. If anything he was preparing them for what they may hear should they make it.

When you're able to reconcile and accept loss, death as part of life, you'll listen to it again, cry, not listen for awhile, then listen again, and again and again and smile for the good memories created when you first heard the song. ❤

It was a song that Jane wrote. She auditioned and was unable to continue in the competition due to her health.
She passed away February 2022.

For those of us who saw Nightbird (Jane), this audition brought tears of loving memories from the depth of our hearts, overflowing through our eyes. Still wiping the tears away. AWESOME !!! This will always be my favorite audition. Even if we hadn't been blessed with the memory of Jane through this performance, it was still AWESOME !!! It deserves the GOLD.

fr... I have not cried this much in a long time especially seeing our Simon and Terry CRY... my heart couldnt anymore. I hate cancer so much
From a fellow South African girl... who was diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 30 last year, and two weeks before Nightbirde's passing, which hit me hard since I too was also confronted with the diagnosis.. This performance means so much!!! A beautiful tribute, beautifully performed by beautiful people in honour of a beautiful person. May her story and life, passion and music continue to live on and bring joy, strength and hope.
We are Sisters, hang in there, we've got you, take some advice, but mainly keep décidions tovyourself. It is a gift, like Nightbirdie testified for, to not take anything for grandes anymore, to make the simplest kind gestures Grand and see the beauty in pavement flowers and watching sunsets.

Words cannot describe the effect of this tribute and the choir’s interpretation of Jane’s song. The choreography is hypnotic, playful, reminiscent of tribal spiritual invocation, and is so respectful of the songs author. The subtle vocals and the man on the left of stage free-styling, makes me smile so much, it is absolutely the best kind of infectious! I can’t get enough. I can hardly put away the imagery of Jane’s soul flying above this beautiful choir. The words they share with the panel is so honest and enduring. Bless you nightbird and thank you for reminding us, it’s ok! AGT, tip of the hat for providing this platform and the gift of the contestants that likely would have otherwise gone unheard. Wow, just wow!

Every once n a while I am so proud to be a human being, and this is one of those times. This group is phenomenal, just so lovely, with absolutely outstanding harmony. Seeing Simon crying is very VERY special, and they should be so proud of themselves how seriously they take them, and they touched people's hearts. @mjj1434 Ya, that's what they said. She was happy about it. Would love to see the messages between her and the choir. I know she recorded her song before the choir got together but still would love to read their convo. I bet she had the biggest smile and made her day. I'm glad that they didn't just name the choir after her to try and get more fans. We are seeing SO much of that/ this lately.... but I love this choir, and I love how you can just see it on each of their faces, how much they want this, and how hard they've worked to get on that stage. It's beautiful, and their voices just flow with one another.
They contacted her when she was still alive and she consented to them recording the song. And to be honest, they did justice to her legacy. It's so painful 😢 to watch the song being sang knowing Jane is really gone. Such is life I guess ❤
