Everytime I see a production of this show I get goose bumps and weep uncotrollably at times. I love it!
Me, too!!
Oh same here!
Me three ❤
It never fails to leave me in awe… everytime
Same! My family won't see it with me anymore 😬
I have seen Les Miserables several times on stage and listened to the sound track in my car over and over. It's beauty always takes my breath away.
I like how the Staged Concert had Enjolras also say, "Tomorrow is the judgment day." Since it gives him something to do during the end.
Thematically and characteristically it also makes sense that he’s the one who sings that. Well him or javert because both have their own motivations behind the line. Val Jean singing it doesn’t hold as much weight imo
One Day More, for sure. Also the 25th Anniversary Concert cast was just **chef's kiss**
They're great, really are but no cast will ever match the 10th Anniversary Concert in my opinion.
@@mikeunderwood734totally agree
@@mikeunderwood734100%!
Except for Nick Jonas ... Terrible casting.
Greatness never wears out!!
That very last harmony of ‘ONE DAY MOOOOOOORE’ is incredible
Something about the reprise gets me. Like they all do. I think it's the building volume of it. The growth just, BAM
Bradley Jaden’s Enjolras is always amazing! Looking forward to seeing his Javert again on the stadium tour
One day more for sure , the power is outstanding
I was at a production where the crowd comes in behind you and just wails right in the aisles in the first act. Chills.
Oh wow!
I'm just glad this channel is posting Les Mis content now.

Me too
I gotta head that polyphony every once and awhile, and that last harmony.
Best show ever
This might become the song of this time in the US
Absolutely love this new rendition of the song. It's one of the best songs in the show anyway, but having this new version to listen too is brilliant!! The harmonies are flawless and the Queens voices blend so well!! It is a delight to listen too!!
Yearning for the day when I get to see this live!
Saw this show a number of years ago, absolutely fabulous. Can’t add anymore. Superb!!
I still get chills when I hear "One Day More".
Superb cast and performance. Michael Ball is fantastic in everything he does, and his portrayal of Javert is perfect! I could watch this over and over…..Marvellous!
Definitely One Day More with Alfie Boe and Michael Ball!!!! ❤️
I can't choose a favorite!! Both always make my heart skip a few beats and bring tears to my eyes!!
I get goosebumps whenever I see a production of this wonderful show.
all those moments that I can never forget..it was just stunning
Hear this song during this hard time in my hometown 😢 Waiting for tomorrow come ❤
One of the most powerful stories ever narrated. Thanks to Victor Hugo! ❤
Omg this is overwhelmingly beautiful, unbelievable talent - I have serious goosebumps......
Thank you, a fair contest, same cast the entire time too for that matter. I vote for do you hear the people sing.
"One Day More", is absolutely perfect.
Both are uplifting 👏 As a song, I prefer ‘Do You Hear‘ but as an anthem, I always get goosebumps with ‘One Day More’
Meant to say I found this version with Alfie Boe and Michael Ball on Prime TV. It’s so beautiful watch!!! It makes my heart happy!
What a beautiful performance from the cast! This is surely one to be remembered and one I will come back to listen to many many times ❤️
Both are great songs, but Do You Hear The People Sing always moves me so deeply. Unquestionably the better of the two.
Do You Hear The People Sing has got to be our new anthem.
Do you hear the people sing. It was the turning point in the revolution and evokes hope, pride and conviction.
As my favorite musical of all time, I love every song in this show. Both are wonderful but if I have to choose one I suppose it would be One Day Mere
One Day More is my favourite ever Act 1 finale, but the reprise of DYHTPS in the epilogue is incredibly powerful, and brings so many emotions. It truly is a wonderful musical which I would watch time and time game if only life, logistics and finances would allow ❤.
I was so proud to be involved front of house with a 'Schools Edition' in February. The cast were unbelievably talented and we were honoured to have a visit from Earl Carpenter who sang 'Stars' with our Javert. A moment I will never forget, nor the 18 year old lad who he sang with!
(For anyone local, the group is CPYT based near Southampton, Hampshire)
I saw it seven times on stage in London and Bristol and I have the tenth and twenty fifth concerts plus this one. Lovely Michael Ball (the original Marius) was quite a shock as Javert!
This is good but the 10 and 25 just blow you away
10 is my all-time favorite!! I can listen to it 24/7!
Such an incredible show, I've seen it multiple times.
Do You Hear…is my favorite of these two. Always timeless
Ich finde das ist einer der besten Musical!Aus Vienna 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Alfie boe is amazing!!!!
Ahh...both? Don't make me choose. They are both sublime in their own ways.
As always fabulous 🎉
Sorry that I didn't make the cut to be in the ensemble of this wonderful show -- in NJ community theater.
One day more almost every time.
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Such a great musical!
I saw the movie starring Russell Crow. He can really sing! I enjoyed it.
I was surprised that he could sing. He is a wonderful actor. The Gladiator was his best.😊
Fantastic !
Love this song and one day more when colm sings it best
More Day More is so powerful!
Do you hear the people sing always brings me to tears. One day more is more powerful in voices, but the emotion in DYHTPS is like a bomb.
I have no words. I cry every time. Alfie
Not bad but the 10th Anniversary Cast just blows this one away. I do like how its more theatrical than either the 10th or 25th Concerts. The 25th version had one thing over any other version of the song. That was when Marius leaves Éponine side to join the Revolution and the look on Samantha Bark's face is completely heart wrenching
Sorry totally disagree, there maybe solo performances but overall and having seen all the casts there is nothing like the Concert version.
One day more for, many reasons, especially fighting cancer.
One day more.....one moment at a time. 🫂
I prey you keep fighting and that you win
One day more , it has all the main characters involved, including the company, fantastic!
I wasn't sure which production the video would contain, but my initial reaction was One Day More and this didn't change my mind. Although I saw this production live and Do You Hear the People Sing was excellent and perhaps had more punch than in this recording.
Where are these Recordings are from?
One Day More. 25th Anniversary. Colm is the best!!!!❤
One day more every day!! 🫶🏻♥️
Both are great piece of music, but as an anthem I think "Do You Hear the People Sing" is better.
It’s good rouser whereas One Day More is good Act 1 Finale since it brings together the individual stories and sets up Act 2 nicely
Beautiful.
I refuse to choose a favourite
Anyone know the name of the actress in the green dress in the second song? White wedding dress in third song?
For me my favorite song out of the two is one day more
Old lady in Missouri
Garden of the lord is underrated as a piece in the stacked soundtrack of les mis icl. Same for “you at the barricades listen to this”
Ahh the Finale, count that as part of the epilogue
Another song I sob through.
I can’t not wait to see it in buffalo tonight
I didn't know there was another performance with Alfie Boe! Where can I watch the full show? :)
Sky Arts on TV
The full show can be purchased on RUclips Movies. I tried to share a link but it won't show the comment.
@@lucy714 thanks! I tried searching for it but it won't show up for me. Maybe it's region locked :/
@@user-nz7ci3py3h Hm maybe. I tried to check but can't see any info about that. The title is "Les Misérables: The Staged Concert" and it's from 2019. I'm in the Netherlands and was able to purchase it here a while back so I do know it's not limited to the UK.
I found this version on Prime Video. It has both Alfie Boe and Michael Ball. Listening to this just makes my heart happy!!!!
My favourite is One Day More
One day more
I've always liked Do You Here The People Sing
I love Matt Lucas as Thernadier.
😍🥰😍
can anyone tell me how the les miserables anniversarys work? i noticed only the 10th and 25th anniversary have significant recordings whilst the other ones on the internet are in tiny venues? when is the next big one ?
❤❤❤❤❤
where is this recording from?
first guy singing....major Future Islands vibes.
Nice bit of box ticking casting there.
The most powerful scene
Goosebumps!!!
Lots of us
👌

On en a oublié les interprètes français.......

Read the book!
Hot take, Red and Black could be cut from the show without affecting any of the story. Do you hear the people sing, is basically the same message and comes right after Red and Black.
I personally feel like it’s necessary to keep it. Red and Black is more about the conflict of personal wants vs the needs for all. It shows the internal struggle Marius faces: be “selfish” and go after love or help his friends in the fight for a better world. Do You Hear the People Sing? is more the rallying cry for the general public to try and get other people to join the cause.
From which year is the recording?
This is the staged concert from 2019
我觉得25周年的那个最好!除了小男主声音弱鸡了点。
Rob Houchen my favourite Marius and yes he beats even Michael Ball in my opinion.
It just does not sound right to have Javert with a thin voice.
One Day More. DYHTPS is better in the finale.
Man, if they had cast literally anyone else as Javert this would probably be the greatest recorded cast of Les Mis out there… Michael Ball just does NOT work here for me
They need to stop getting mid-looking Mariuses.
What on earth does that mean?
It's not the same when Lea Salonga is not involved
Bradley Jaden looking just enough like Daniel Radcliffe with a manbun in that first bit of the first song that I had to blink twice. 😆 Then decided I was going to enjoy the rest of it as if DR was signing Les Mes. 🫣🥰🤣
