The rock singer that played Eponine was absolutely brilliant in that company. I'm really happy I bought the CD from them. Les Mis is very special message that most people can relate to.
I love how the actor singing Enjolras starts up the down-escalator, mimicking the revolving stage when it's performed, and the two-steps forward, two-steps back they do when this song is performed in the musical. Such a little thing, but it's a very clever piece of business when performing in a non-theatre venue like this.

Haven't seen my family there in over a decade because I cannot afford the $1500 it costs these days. Besides, it won't be as good ss the original with the original cast. I saw the remake on PBS and although not bad it wasn't as good sas the original with Colin Wilkinson and the original innkeeper....

This is the kind of flash mob I like…the ones where you can tell all the people around weren’t expecting a flash mob in the middle of a public square to happen by giving them lots of empty space. When the flash mob is literally surrounded by non mobbers then you know it’s going to be a good one and not one that feels like any other performances…I hope that made sense🤔

One of the male singers started his career with my ex-wife teaching him singing and i had the very great pleasure of having him sing beside me as the other tenor in the choir i was in at the time. Through hard work and constant practice, he has become a fine baritone and a wonderful husband and father to his family of about twenty boys (well that is an exaggeration, but he doesn't know how to produce girls as yet) Josh, you are a hero to me and hopefully remain a good friend for my remaining years, even though you live in Adelaide and I live in Coffs Harbour. I think the chances of the two of us singing "In the depths of the temple" have long gone but it would have been fun to try it!!!

I have watched a number of flash performances from Les Mis. This up there with some of the best and, a special bonus, it is taking place in one of my favorite places in the world. I love Adelaide market.
With few exceptions, the happy smiles on the faces of the spectators are heart-warming, indeed. I hope to be caught up in a flash mob myself, some day...

This was an amazing performance(?) I would've thought there would be more people watching this! Though I'm late by a few years, this was so lovely! I wish I were there, it looked like a lot of fun! And the vocals were so wonderful too!! A performance I would watch times and time over again and I would never get tired of it, and not just because I love these songs but the people that executed them did them justice!! I can see this is an opera company; their voices are operatic. An excellent performance without a conductor. Every word was clear. I can see why these songs from Les Miz are so often performed and so performable.
So, so good! Best place to do it too. The central markets was the best place to work in, there's always something happening. Bands used to jam there on Friday nights, and at Chinese new year it utterly goes OFF. Loved seeing some faces I remember from my time there
Wow I know this market well. I am from New York but I lived in Glenelg for 14 months and shopped in the market many times. I wish I had been there for this performance. That's Australia for you a really remarkable country.
