These performers are having so much fun. An advantage being old, I actually saw TIM CURRY as Dr. Frank N Furter live on stage at the Roxy Theatre in Hollywood in 1974. Absolutely fabulous and mind blowing.
So lucky! Tim Curry...just no one like him. One time I used him as a challenge question answer for MCI back in the day. The tech said he liked my answer to "Childhood hero." I thought, "Charlie Brown?" "Snoopy?" Nope. Tim Curry. lol I mixed up the questions apparently.
The poor old bird at the start suddenly realising she's in the middle of something bonkers calmly pretending not to notice, picking up her bag and legging it!😂
I was Brad as a part of a midnight Floor Show that would act out the film in front of the screen. We got free admission, private screenings to rehearse, and elaborate costumes. Our Columbia's costume was perfect, as was our FrankenFurter's. Yes, I could dance in high heels.
This still happens, if you know where to go :D. My theatre professor took the whole class out to a midnight showing, and it was wild. So don’t worry about dating yourself, it’s multigenerational.
AND me! Kansas City, Missouri. "Rocky Horror" was the midnight show! We brought squirt guns, BIC lighters, newspapers ... and did the "Time Warp" in the aisles! ... Tivoli Theater? Was that the name?
We had a theatre here in Broward County, Florida that used to show Rocky Horror every Friday night to a packed house , toilet paper and white bread included. What a wonderful life it was
This never gets old. Before flash mob, I was Frank N Furter at a movie theater in El Paso, Texas in my college years in the 70's. A few of us got together and played each part during the movie. The only person we didn't have was Rif Raf because he chickened out at the last moment. Our Rocky Horror was a friend of one of the ladies who had come to town to visit. He had never seen the movie. He put on some women's underwear with hearts for the part. Brave guy. I got to chase him around the theater and the local news station was there to film. My girlfriend was Magenta. Naturally, we had all the props each showing (water bottles, hot dogs, newspapers, etc.). My fifteen minutes of fame. Good times.
I was in highschool when the film came out. The line to the movie was long and many in line were dressed as the characters, they also had boxes with props; toast, toilet paper "great Scott", water guns, news paper and deck of cards. Back then theaters had stages throughout the movie people in costume would get up dance and sing, especially the time warp. It was fun
Positively sinful! Parading around like a bunch of Kansas City whores. You could never get away with those sorts of hijinx today! (Sadly.) Sounds like good times. Made a few midnight viewings myself in the 70s and 80s.
@@dianadurr-ramsey567 I watched at the cinema twice, live 4 times (dressed for the occasion), bought it on VHS (twice because I wore it out), DVD and finally on bluray. F***ing awesome.
This is not a dance for the young. Only the young at heart. I'm 63 and I will warp with the best of them. Back in 1985, we showed the Rock Horror Picture Show on campus. During this dance sequence we brought the house lights up to 20%. We encouraged the audience to come down towards the stage and warp out. Best night ever.
Wow….I had a really crappy day. Surfing FB with a scowl on my face THEN SOMEHOW…I stumbled onto this amazing video. Thank you for turning my day around. You all ROCKED THIS. DON’T DREAM IT. BE IT.
Saw them in edinburgh last month, best cast I've seen. all the hecklers in the audience were fabulous great atmosphere, fantastic show, great night out.
That's awesome that people are still performing the show. Here in the States I was Brad in front of the big screen for a short time. Those days were a lot of fun.
@@rickdagrexican7351 its never going to end the amount of kids going with their parents is amazing, including my own daughter who loves it, and amazing you playing Brad 👏
Last October I was at Goodwill, they were playing Time Warp. I looked around and no one was paying attention, so I 64 started the time warp dance, several women my age joined me. We had a small audience, but we had fun.
Ahh the decades have passed but my soul has not. I used to do Riff on stage every Friday night for the midnight show after working a 3 to 11 shift. Thank you for keeping it alive.
I truly love it because the Rocky Horror Show was one of my favorite movies of all times and this group did one awesome job of dancing to the Time Warp thank you for putting a 😁 smile on my face and the best memories of going to midnight madness just to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show and I will always love the movie to the young people be blessed always for what you did to make people remember a time where life was fun at times. ❤❤❤😊
I was gutted to have missed this. I was at New Street station exactly 24 hours earlier. Just got home from seeing the production in Nottingham tonight. Absolutely amazing. Discovered that an arthritic hip and the Time Warp don't mix but I gave it my best shot.
Wow! That was so well done and so incredibly well staged! The way the different characters come to the fore at different times, the quality of the costumes and the styling, the vivacity of the performance, the choreography, the speed and brilliant execution of the dance moves...phenomenally great!
Superb, great to see the iconic Time Warp has passed down to a new generation, used to go to midnight showings back in the day, where everyone in the audience participated as their favorite character in dress & spoke or sang that characters lines, made a fantastic night out. Great to see The Rocky Horror picture show has not lost its appeal,
this is amazing, but the best part? getting surprised at the end when the Frank'n'Furter actually walks into shot - and going back and discovering they were just there in the background the entire time. *shakes head* it's like that thing with the gorilla suit...
We saw them perform in Cardiff. It was my daughters first Live Rocky Horror, she's been obsessed since about 4 years old. We had an absolute blast. I thought only Tim Curry could make me cry, I was wrong. Magnificent!
Loved it!! For the non-UK people. Birmingham New Street is an old train station that has had one hell of a facelift. Certainly worth putting up with all the construction work that was going on for ages.
Ah, the memories. Thank you so much for this. I remember going to see the show at the Loft Theater in Tucson starting back in maybe 1974. Audience participation and the lot. We are in college and it was always a great time. I believe although the theater has moved it still does the show. As I type this I looked them up and they are showing it tomorrow! Be there - the LOFT - Tucson, Arizona.
When I was younger, I used to do competitive roller skating, and we had a routine we did to this song. Doing the Time Warp dance on roller skates is so much fun, I suggest you try it!
Loved it. I had to watch it twice because the first time when the boy with the grey jumper joined in he distracted me from the ensemble's performance. He's yummy and gives everything to it. The energy and enthusiasm... I hope he'll become famous.

I saw it at the Roxy, too. What a show! Tim Curry ❤ What an entrance!
I like Frank’s casual stroll past the group and then hang out in the background.
My favorite part was Dr. Frank just casually strolling across the performance space.
En la versión original, Frank no forma parte de esta canción, el sale después, en el elevador
