Holy cow this was tough! But I loved it! Always amazes me how well simple 5 pound ankle weights can really work the legs! Definitely a keeper. That first series of standing with the chachas and other moves; my standing leg was on fire too! 🥵 😅
This was great! I have ankle weights but had never really used them. I’ll definitely be coming back to this workout again. I’d also love to see some barre boxing! Thanks!
I did this workout without ankle weights while watching a show and it was great! I'm building up to doing this with 2 lbs weights. Those little pulses kill me
Thank you so much! Your workouts have been such a huge help during those crazy times. The ankle weight workouts are great! I would love to see a longer workout with them (30-40 min), as well as a whole-body workout which includes them.
You will definitely feel the standing leg since it is stabilizing the body. Use the chair to brace and keep the standing hip as still as possible during most of the movements. Keeping the core tight and low back neutral should also help 😀
I would personally opt for the 10 lb adjustable weights - you can make them 5 or even lighter if needed. If the five pound weights are too easy then you would then have the option to make them heavier. It’s more of a personal preference! Hope this helps ❤️
