Sodalite is the blue speckled stone you wanted to know about and the crescent moon with the R stands for Carolyn Pollack Relios. She is one of the designers of jewelry for the American West brand of jewelry.
I also wondered if it could be Sodalite.
If it blue/ white it is probably sodalite
Hi I Google lens searched your fishing pole broach and it sold on Ruby Lane for $44. It's vintage circa 1950's. The Jeanne jewelry company was around from 1919 til 1960. Thanks for sharing your experience and advice throughout your videos. You're a cool guy. Thanks
This is fun! I loved the fishing pole with the fish and tried my hand on a search for it and found one selling for $44. That would be a huge return on your money!
Love your videos. I watch hours of most ebay and etc
I have been selling for a year.
I appreciate your knowledge, honesty and your personality.
I have learned some of the most valuable from you
Lori
Rusty...thank you for demonstrating the scratch test on video..
Always enjoy your intros and outros and all the valuable info squished in between.
You are the very best!! You have given me more information than anyone on here! I watch you all the time! Now I need to get busy and assess what I have! Thank You for all your help!!!!!
Wow, thank you! We are glad you are here Cousin!!
Here for your algorithms 😘
Great show Rusty.Your a fantastic teacher.😊
That's a Gorgeous Amber sterling silver necklace 😻 and the chain is called " Foxtail"
I just want to say that after finding your videos on Sunday I listed over 50 items I had lying around and I made 4 sales and got one bid in less than 24 hours. The first thing that sold was a lot I threw together of several 1970's Schillings cans and 3 bottles that were basically trash- $15. Another thing that sold was a lot of 3 rancid old perfumes in cool bottles for $14.30. This was all 'trash' I gathered for $0. 🙂
They pay good money for pieces that turn green patina. Vertagre is a protective layer that prevents damage to brass and copper. . If you want you can easily remove by placed in small dish of ketchup!!!
Rusty, the “crackling” on the blue bonsai pot is called crazing. It can show the age of a piece, a lot of turn of the century or older will have some crazing. Newer pieces that are really crazed are usually found in warmer, much dryer areas like Nevada or Arizona. The glazing dries out and cracks.
Sometimes the glaze is not meant for outdoor use and is suseptable to crazing outdoors. That happened to some premade pieces my mother glazed back in the 1970's.
I love that fishing pole brooch! It reminds me of when I was a kid, fishing with my dad. 👍😊❤️
That gold rose pin with the hook may be for a shoulder bag. Pinned on the shoulder it would help to keep the strap on a purse from falling down the arm. From the sixties.
I love your 90s citcom intro!! It's the best. ❤❤❤❤❤
First couple items, the bonsai planter is a yes, the blue vase because of the chip is a no, I believe the celadon lidded dish is a real find, the pitcher sells for about 18-20. Yes, I’m a reseller primarily of ceramics and glads
Actually gold is pretty porous stainless steel post because they are actually hypoallergenic for the ears you'll see a lot of gold earrings with stainless steel post nowadays
In general , people love the shop with me videos, please don’t knock those who make them, or the process🥰
It’s fine, it’s just not what we do. I get why people enjoy them, but it also often makes other customers and businesses uncomfortable. You don’t see that side of it as a viewer, but it’s a reality.
I am considering reselling next year. Your bodies are very informative . Ty for sharing your knowledge
So you might want to look up Asian Caledon, pretty sure that's what your green bowl is. Also there usually extremely old pieces.
Hi cuz....had to watch your video 3 times before I got to watch it all the way through....I'd start watching then get interupted....lol. Loved the video....educational for sure....thank you!
The amber necklace is NOT squash blossom, the latter is a Native American style quite distinctive and not at all similar to the piece you have. Your necklace looks to be from Bail/Thailand area of world. Otherwise, I found the video useful and informative. Some other viewer comments have ID'd marks and materials for you.
Rusty just found your channel and loving it while binge watching! Keep up the good work.
That bottom part is what makes it a squash blossom, otherwise it’s a necklace🥰
Nice jewelry rusty. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I love that you share information and I want to start getting into the resell business so helping me a lot.
Your the man brother i been trying to gain knowledge on how to prosper in the business you mastered. your as real as they come! Thank you im only 3 vids in and I know Im watching Real Rusty, Gaining Knowledge! Thanks Cuz

Great video Rusty! Always learn a lot!
Hi cousin thank you for another great video and very informative😊
Love your videos. Lots of great information ❤❤❤
Thank you Rusty. (Helen in the UK)
On the pendant with the odd clasp looks almost like the bobbin case on a sewing machine
Lapiz has a lot of variation. I've bought lapiz that light and speckly in bulk lots of stones.
Hi from Joplin MO great tips stay Awesome
Great video rusty thank you
Hey cousin love your videos
I like these steady uploads, cousin.
Love the Robert brooch.
Unfortunately, the glass rose has a broken pedal
Love your videos, always informative. I have that jade & coral jewelry, from the 1980's. The leaves are jade, flower coral.
Awesome! Thank you!
Learned a lot thanks.
Excuse me for my mistake. I looked at my jewelry and it’s signed Hardy HARDY I think it’s John Hardy and it’s 925 silver. People who have this collection will recognize it. Pebble design? I think it’s beautiful. The pendant would have been worn on on a black leather cord with 925 fastenings. I have some pieces I wish I could show you. Not to sell but for reference. The back would have 925 and an H for Hardy
Love the fishing rod brooch
I think your blue necklace might be sodalite. It’s a natural gem stone.
David Urman made a collection with the dots! It looks just like this. I wish I knew how to send a picture. I will try.
Not urman, it is John Hardy!
terrific
Oh I used to love Trifari.
Love glass flowers Rusty but yours has a broken petal. 🙁
Love your videos…..
That blue bead could be Sodalite, It will be Blue with white specks.
I think so, too.
That was my first thought too!
The bale on the elephant pendant says 925 (silver) yes, but that does not mean that the elephant is silver. I hope you tested it before you put it up for sale.
Just another thought, some people only experience stores through the shop with me videos, especially since COVID🥰
@ 25:05 the second pair of earrings with multi colors showing. What brand are they? I have them with matching necklace but could not find the name?
I think the blue speckled is sodalite.
Love your videos I have learned so much from you. I jus don’t know where to begin on selling items. Where do you take scrap gold and silver to sell it?
I take mine to a pawn shop.
Cantinaware pitchers goes for 30-60 each
Does that say Jeanine? Could be worth putting at auction with a minimum starting price that you want back.
You can see they are real diamond chips cause they did a big diamond cut in the metal and put a ten dollar chip in the middle.
Will you do a video on pieces that you have restored and how you clean antique fashion jewelry?
Great idea!
That China pitcher is like 10 to 15 dollars new the glass roses sell for 50 dollars and up to even a 100.
25 cents!!!
wow
Lapis lazuli 🥰
Rusty I have a 10k gold chain necklace for Mother’s Day says I love mom ❤️ weights 3.9 grams how much can I list on eBay thanks cousin
Sodalite is the blue stones
3:24 Struggling with the color: NAVY BLUE . deep and dark blues are normally "Navy". Thank me later
That little blue ceramic pot with a chip….someone would pay $10-15 for “all day long on Ebay?” I’m certainly not familiar with the kind of customers that would buy a cheaply done small vase with an obvious chip on it, Hey, ole Rusty, I don’t mean to be snippy here…and I enjoy your videos and all the helpful info you provide…I really do, but I just don’t see that kind of sale happening too often. Honest? That blue vase look like a “Dollar Bin” item to me. But if you can sell it for $10-$15, more power to you. 😊
I was planning on selling it all along…. But challenge accepted!
Sodalite is the blue stone.
The blue bead necklace with the unusual sterling clasp, the mark looks like a Carolyn Pollack Relios mark. I dont know what the stone is , its a very pretty blue. It looks too light a blue to be sodalite, but I seen another Pollack/Relios necklace listed exactly like yours on Google that was attributed to sodalite. The listing is on Etsy and even mentions that the clasp is a little tricky to figure out!! I have a question about stick pins. I have a large collection that I would like to sell individually. Do you have any luck selling them individually on ebay?????. What amount do you ask for each if they are not name brand?? Your reply would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
FYI I also seen two more necklaces that the seller said was Lapiz so still dont know what ithe stone is
Carolyn did some pieces with denim lapis thru QVC in the 90's.
Lapis lazuli bead necklace?
The blue could be sodalite
Well schyt , every time i go tu ur ebay page it's empty
What is his eBay store?
Sodalite
Butterscotch bakelite?
Ohh coral!
Were they tested for being Bakelite?
I am a reseller since 2000. I sell a BIG variety of mainly VINTAGE collectibles. I am an artist. I have GOOD Taste and a "Good Eye" for "the unusual". (I ALSO UNDERSTAND "bad taste" and that it ALSO sometimes sells! . SO - ONE SUBJECT that I CANNOT get a HANDLE ON IS costume / junk jewelry ! I have had some interesting and unusual stuff: That did NOT sell . THAT SAID : The market on this stuff is SO FLOODED on eBay - How the hell is anyone gonna find YOUR "Flower Power 1972 enamel pin" ??????? So I AM ABOUT TO GIVE UP ON JUNK & cheap costume JEWELRY : So ----Tell me why I SHOULD'NT ???????????? TELL ME .
