The true chad move is to bring an archon and believe in the spleen of the 2+ invul. Gambling at its finest.
1) I actually really enjoyed this video, even though I'm upset the Dimachareon didn't just sweep the board.
2) Hopefully Matt brings the same thing when Brick is on the Gauntlet but Bricky is using ImpGuard since I think that'd be funny.

Dimachaeron has been pretty underwhelming for me. It should cost half as many points as it does.
I'd love to see a 5 man squad of Grey Knight Paladins in this. 20 storm bolters shots with ways to increase STR and AP. Warding staves with Sanctuary or Hammerhands. Fight twice, fight on death, transhuman, etc.
Fury of the Proven Strat for +1 to hit and be in tide of fury to reroll wound rolls of 1as well! They would do well in this format for sure

Ap-1 not great and only can use a single power unless using a strat to cast again...but paladins are great cause you could give some hammers some staves and some heavy weapon

I played a very similar style of game vs my friend who got a gsc box set, he played his patriarch vs my maugan ra and we played on a kill team size board, was a lot of fun and he really enjoyed it, definitely less daunting then starting with a full game

Would love more of this. As a non 40k player this was bitesize and simple enough with the rules that is still was enjoyable. And it puts the personalities and banter in focus, which is my favourite part here :)

For the Patriarch, you would be saving on 3s, the Bladed Cog adds +1 to invul saves to a max of 3++, so you would have been saving a lot more of those.

My 10 Berzerkers killed a dima one one round of combat with a strat and a relic. It was about 120 dice and JUST did it but it was really cool to see.
