Great to hear! Just curious, is that a tension you might not have tried? I find many think it's a bad idea to go that low and default to low or mid 50s on everything
@@ZeroLoveTennis I usually play around 51. I had Polytour Rev @ 51 in this racket before this. I had tried Hyper-G at 47 once before but otherwise never gone below 50 until these.
These days I suggest "Wasabi X" in the crosses over Wasabi! And either Wasabi mains or Zero mains. I seem to be most happy mid to high 50s. Anything much below 53 gets launchy very easily but some may like it.
Actually these do all ring a bell now haha. No way they snapback like zero though? That string would be a way bigger deal I imagine if the levels were similar to zero. I'm saying these perform this way even after they break. It's crazy.
Revolve and Head Hawk are two of the lowest string-to-string frictions. Between them, Hawk seems to be better for hybrids for me and lasts longer, perhaps because it's stiffer. Anything I put as a main over Hawk ends up with great snap-back.
Just tried a full bed of ZERO @48lbs in my Speed Pro Legend….Really liked it first hit, I’ve been using Lynx Tour @52lbs but have preferred it after it drops a bit in tension so I thought I’d try 48 as I’d heard ZERO is a bit stiff…felt similar to Lynx Tour but more responsive and a bit more crisp, beautiful pocketing at 48 and great spin even on this racquet…Do you prefer a hybrid or full bed of ZERO? I tried Lynx Tour mains with Wasabi X cross both at 52 and man that Wasabi X really stiffened up the feel too much compared to full bed Lynx Tour @52…I’ll be going 48 in this racquet with everything I think
I really like Zero on it's own but prefer it a bit more with Sync in the crosses. I also suggest going lower than most expect, it's a bit stiffer than average and holds tension way better than average (Sync does too) I've been going extra low recently, like 43lbs with Zero and Sync, really liking it. I go with the 16 gauge zero when stringing this low. I wonder if 17 would be too launchy or something but we might test that sometime. Good on you for trying! Zero sets such a high bar all around.
@ 48lbs felt right on point for me in the Speed Pro Legend(normal tension 52 with Lynx Tour but I do prefer it after it’s dropped)but I’d be happy trying lower even still with Zero…I’ll have to get Sync as well and try them together…Really liked Zero a lot
Zero and Sync at lower tensions is very fun to hit with. I need to make some content about it. I am still rocking 42/40 or so and that seems just about right with the thicker gauges of both.
@@ZeroLoveTennis I put an order in yesterday for a couple sets of each in each gauge too so I can try each hybrided and full beds in each gauge👌Also just received my order of almost every Toroline string available too lol, just wanted to try all these different strings to see if there’s any stand outs, along with the fact that they’ll look great in the Legends all black frame😅comparing some full beds and hybrids👌
Smart, to keep the variations around. You've probably seen enough to know what I like in the cross. I rarely try a new string in a full bed anymore haha it's more important that I like it with one of my fav crosses.
Nah not as good. Less snapback by quite a lot. I didn't love the string but some people like it. Zero has been selling really well and for good reason. High performing in many ways but also has better snapback and spin and durability and tension maintenance than anything (except Wasabi) which I also say good things about. You can use my code to order either string with a good discount. Code: time410s
somewhat irrelevant. I’ve been using Head Lynx Tour at 54 for a while and then i don’t like it after the tension drop, but recently since i haven’t restrung it, i’ve liked it more than at 54 lbs (possibly at 57-59 lbs right now). Once i get my restring zero, should i try stringing them at 48, and also with my head lynx tour to see if i like it
Depends a bit of the string and gauge but I'd say maybe 50 in 17g. What's the racquet? That always matters. I've done 35 or 55 depending on the racquet with zero haha.
@@ZeroLoveTennis maybe coz I am too smooth a player, just kidding, no idea, even my kids multi technifibre xone snaps back super smooth... I always thought it's the tension plus poly, I have personally used hyper g, rpm blast, volkl cyclone, confidential, signum pro firestorm, all snaps similar esp before notching, used pure strike, pure strike Vs, pure aero, pure drive rackets
For me, multi and or syn with or without poly snaps back very well...until I hit with it. After about 5 minutes of hard hitting, that snapback is totally gone. I think I've tried all those strings except the firestorm many times and it's always the same for me. Snapback fades quickly after a hitting session and was never as good to begin with. Regardless of the racquet, I've tried them in tons of them. How long until you break strings? For a string like Hyper G or Cyclone, they break in a few hitting sessions. So less than a week. If you are more gentle on your strings, they will last much longer.
@@ZeroLoveTennis I think it still snaps back on the mains after notching becoz the notch is on the mains itself..I play only like once a week, probably lasts a couple of months before it breaks for me for a poly. Not pro enough to feel the difference in spin regardless of strings I use honestly.
I have a hard time trusting reviews from influencers that receive kickbacks from the companies they're praising. Not exacrly an unbiased review! If this guy says Zero is horrible then no body buys it and he doesnt make any money. If he praises it, even if it is horrible, he gets kick backs and you just wasted money.
Right, but I test everything I can that is worth testing and find a way to show you why what I am saying has validity. I do break most strings within 2 hits. Zero does last me much longer. Zero does produce more spin for me as well and you can see that when I compare side by side, zero snaps back better than others. So you can deduct from there that my videos have anecdotal experiences along some side by side footage that seems to represent something truthful. This is just a short. I could partner with many companies but why would I only pick a couple? Why would I say this or that isn't so good and not just that everything is good? How, as an honest person, could I possibly earn your trust? How could you ever believe I'm not just doing something for views, attention, money, etc? Because everything I do might lead to that, so you might assume it is the driving motive behind it all. Maybe even this comment is just to trick you into trusting me and appearing like I care.
I have tried restring zero... It goes dead pretty quickly... Going to order the M8... Better yet the Paradox... Spoke with the owner for an hour yesterday. We'll see... I'm still on my search for the Holy Grail

@@ZeroLoveTennis yeah I don't know I have the pure aero 98... strung it at 48 and 46 crosses. Yanked it out after a week of hitting. Trying wasabi hybrid at 51 and 48 on a crank upright ektelon
