I love your videos they great. I'm don't think 5 lens are necessary and 3 black and white??? Clearly marketing. I can get raw files, monochromatic photos, great blur and crisp photos without all those cameras. A wide angle and telephoto lens in exchange of 2 monochromatic lens.

i love my nokia 9 ... the image quality is top notch ... the 5 camera system is awesome and not a gimmick at all ... i shoot a ricoh grii ... an a6500 and sigma primes and i adore the nokia 9 and this light camera system ... no other phone can compete with the textures , the details , the depth and im honestly excited as someone who loves photography where this is going ...ok it doesnt have a wide angle or zoom lens with tiny useless sensors and it doesnt have a night mode ... but what it does have is the best 28mm main camera on any phone on the market ... treat it like a normal camera and give it a little light to work with and watch how it renders shadows and light ... need to picture a city scene at night well just use traditional methods of a slower shutter speed and low iso and get great night results ... im actually selling my mate 20 pro now because the images from that just look rather digital compared to the nokia 9 .... this you tube video just backs up my thoughts after two months with the nokia 9 ruclips.net/video/pIXifdqVO5A/видео.html

I just picked up a barely used one a few days ago on a trade for a Pixel 3a (great little phone) with someone at work, seems it was hardly used, just installed my apps and set it up, I can tell it was barely used because of like 35 minutes with of updates. Haven't had a chance with messing with the camera but will try and get to it in a day or so. Seems what major issues seemed solved, they onscreen fp reader works better than what the complaints, a bit of a pain to set a print, and requires a hard press but does work. Facial works seems snappy. Just got a case and put a screen protector. Well we shall see? Unbalanced trade maybe, he got 11 month warranty left, 3 cases, installed screen protector with one other in a box and another box of two. All glass. I know the phone was used, was wondering if it was an import because it was set for UK english and had the Pound Sterling instead of dollar symbol, easy fix. The earbuds was sealed and seemed the same with the power supply, which was a US plug. I know it's a love or hate it, and probably not great for quick point and shoot shots. While the 3a is perfect. Also I think he was going to port to Google Fi. I was told the phone was bought around December 2018. The phone looked brand new with even a scuff. I'm glass ABYT did a recent review.

I really like the Nokia 9 Pureview - I prefer this form factor over notches, punch holes or pop-up cameras. While I appreciate OEMs being innovative, nothing beats a good, clean, simple design.
Using the SD855 would have been much better for this phone. But the Pureview was so heavily delayed Nokia probably wanted to just get the phone out the door and were committed to using the SD845 instead.
However, not allowing for expandable storage in a device that takes such large photos is a big oversight on Nokia's part. One can fill up the 128gb VERY fast just taking pics.

I don't know why hmd global has to partnership with most of the RUclipsrs to prove their concept. ..they are trying to do some thing new and results are pretty great with some compromises in user convenience. ..the irony is these youtubers are telling good things about the camera in these partnership reviews and later on not even include this phone in their top ten/top fifteen list of camera phones...I have seen photos at twitter and instagram from the owners of Nokia 9...photos from any other flagship community are not even close to #Nokia9 or #nokia9pureview...that is why I don't understand why reviews and actual results are so different. .and why 10 out 15 camera phones are from xiomi but this one either not included or at the bottom of the countdown...

I had this phone for few months. I now have OnePlus 7 Pro. Nokia has an absolutely beast camera. In my opinion it is better than P30 pro also. Of course OnePlus and Huawei has zoom and wide camera lenses also, but personally I do not need them. I loved shooting monochrome lenses. You can't get same amount of details by just filtering out colors from regular photos. And RAW capabilites of Nokia was incredible. So much details in shadows, highlights do not get blown away. And very little noise in pictures.
Only scenario where Nokia fails to compete is totally dark scenarios. It does work in low light city lights, but not in pitch black situations. HMD is rumoured to bring night mode to this phone also but not yet.

I don't think it's a gimmick having 5 lenses, I think it gives lots of options (can never have too many, lol) it looks like a great phone, it's about time Nokia comes back. They used to be a world leader in cell phones, I always had ones I used to live my slider, I think it was the N95 beautiful phone, had many others as well, but that was my favourite,.. Nokia always made a quality cell phone, even smart phone, they only had a big problem in the operating system area, they should have gone with Android from the start, at least for a while, instead of going with their own o's, (not enough apps)... Cheers!

I had the Nokia 9 pureview for about a day or so here in the states and had to return it. The in screen fingerprint sensor was frustrating .
We never got the 7 plus here in the states so we missed out on that. I have a Nokia 6.1,but I have been using my Pixel 3a mostly. The pixel is just more fun overall to use and smoother and faster.

I received a Nokia9 as a gift and I've used the camera for the last two weeks. It's results are exceptionally good 7/10 times. images are sharply focused and details in dark areas and around light fixtures are very good. Some times it has more of a blue tint. But the camera is not reliable. It does not focus (the screen stays white) in very bright sunlight. Photos come out over sharpened too in bright sunlight. For night photos, some shots are grainy. And it is very slow and overheats pretty quick. For Pro mode, I miss manual focus ring (like a Lumia1020). And I miss the dedicated camera button.
For bokeh mode, my Lumia1020 is seriously good too.

Pixel takes some of the best pictures with one lens.

That's on AI bro and it's not the power of the lens😂

@@Use6r5649 I know that but my point was that more lenses mean nothing if the software is crap ... and of course if the lenses are of low quality.

N9PV has one of the best camera software even though the processing time is not soo fast but it's adaptable due to the huge processing because of the information from 5 lenses. And ofcourse the lenses are of world class quality in N9PV as they are from Zeiss optics. All in all you get a pic with awesome- details, dynamic range, depth mapping that's not there in other phones like pixel..🔥🔥

I'm sure the Galaxy S3 did 'bothy' photos, but let's be honest... it's rubbish and nobody used it.
