All shit aside, apple actually is better in the adhesive department, the bullshit part of iPhone repair is you have to take off the screen to access anything inside, totally unnecessary design but is giving apple shit tons of money.
It's meant so that you accidentally break your screen while trying to open up the phone.
Yeah. It was a good think apple stopped using that superfragile glass back the older iphones used to have. I always laugh at my friends who have broken back glasses while I enjoy my Samsung Galaxy.

7 plus is hardly "most repairable" tbh. Replacing the screen is easy, sure, but planning to replace it every time you go inside the phone, just in case, gets annoying really fast. It was the same with Nokia 6 2017

Sirch iPhones have a lot of adhesive and what not but its not terribly difficult to repair since theres just some screws holding the glass to the frame

cannesahs No other than the back glass the iphones arent terribly difficult to repair. The back glass does need a metal pry tool and a heat gun but the rest of it isnt that bad
@@william247 Have you seen Zack's back glass repair for the iphone since they have a glass back? You can't replace it. It's glued fully onto the back of the phone, unlike other phones that are glued on the sides.

This video may well save the lives of many other Nokia 9 phones just by showing where *not* to try to pry, as well as where the adhesive is. I'm sure a tool could be designed and made pretty cheaply to get under the battery to separate the adhesive without bending it now, too.

I think adhesive at battery is not an issue, as at time of replacing battery, it doesn't matter if older battery is destroyed or not.

Although you can build your own phone by putting together the parts of an existing phone! If you're interested, Scotty from the channel Strange Parts did it. He built an iPhone years ago and recently a Galaxy 9 Plus.
