So well explained and showed... 3rd video of yours i've seen, and all of them are amazing! For a welder without knowledge about welding pipes, like me, this is fascinating! You have earned a new subscriber, deservedly! Greetings from Spain, and well done!

Great video! I like all the explanations & details, how sometimes you have to break the tacks to get the gap, roll, level how you need it & it’s not always possible to on the first try every time, especially working by yourself.
Sub & liked .Thanks for your time!

I usually do this on site using stick welding. The main service pipes are already in service so we can't take away to a workshop.

Cool vid man. Did your company buy the add on software from fronius for the root settings? They demonstrated some settings for a pipe to pipe butt, with no prep, where i work but they were too tight to buy it.

Most of our fab shops are fitters and welder seperate... welders just weld all day literally ... fitters will have like a welding apprentice with them for bridge tacking... once the spool is all tacked up ready to go.. it goes on to next bay we’re the welder will just buzz it out without seeing any drawings etc etc

Fuckin brilliant video man! Your commentary was shit-hot especially while you were welding - Way better than any of the welders who taught me or any I've worked with.
    I learned a lot here.
IMO You're shaping up to knock-out a lot of the bigger welding channels!

Do you have controls on your torch for the heat input? Or are you just lengthening/shortening the stick out as you go to control the heat? Another great video man, I’ve been watching all your vids this last week, learning something with each one 🤘

Clearly your a beast but only difference I would have shown a new beginner is to use a center punch on your chalk lines where you cut out the circle for the fitting/weld because they or even myself can lose that chalk line and go out or inside of the lines if you burn off the chalk. Rather than having the tiny holes to follow from the center punch. Just a thought to show beginners. I’m not near as good with a torch as yourself but typically in the field/plants, welder makes 80% of the torch cuts although I can also but that’s why they get paid more money right ??? Lol kidding
