Awesome man!!!! Love it I have been doing a lot of exploring (over in Michigan too) but the remoteness is what I love about Superiorland..can’t wait to move up North next year…thanks man!!!
Flies (black, stable, deer, horse) are no joke in the UP. It is a wet country. Brenton is in the higher elevations of the UP and without out much of any snow this past winter, those bastards still hit hard. Don't get me wrong. Any beach on the Great Lakes has flies but the UP takes it up a few notches. If a viewer is planning on a vacation to the UP, plan on late July and hope you get onshore breeze to truly experience either lake Michigan or Superior. When you get a friendly turn of cards, magical place.
@@brentonsriversidehermitage they have a spray for cattle to keep flies off of them. Maybe a diluted version could work on The Beagle. Just a thought....

Great video, grew up on the Ontonagon river and have spent many hours on the shores of the lake from Ontonagon up to Silver City. I now live in Georgia and only get back up there once every few years.

Love your beach glass. My wife and I have been collecting it for close to forty years. Literally thousands of pieces from all over. From Maine to Alaska. Glad you and Wavey are doing well. I bet the trip home with the barge would've been an entertaining video on it's own.🌴

Still so beautiful, the peace and serenity and the Wilderness, with not lots of people. You can't beat that. Thanks for taking us along, Brenton. Beach glass is a natural phenomenon. Its from lightning strikes on driftwood. The electrons heat up the wood to 27 million degrees and it breaks apart taking up the color of the water molecules.
