Man this channel is so underrated! I loved every minute playing this game when I was around 12 or 13. MGS, RE3 and FF9 these 3 games will always have a special place in my heart. I really enjoyed the video. Thank you ❤
I only played it a month ago or so because i wanted to get into MGS series and at some point i thought i would have to force myself through the game. And oh boy i was wrong, i always had this feeling that made me come back to it and i finished it fairly quickly. Not many modern games can accomplish it for me. And you can move in first person though by double tapping the triangle (at least thats how it was set up in GOG version)
this game has a special place in my heart while 3 is my fav by far i shit tones of memories playing this with my brother in real life when we first played it. started watching your channel with your max payne 3 video i can say you are very underrated, love those video essays even your doom 3 a game i dont quite like but i definetely see where you came from and it was better than i remember
36:16 Unlike almost every other game console with 3D graphics, PS1 emulation has advanced to the point that it’s in most cases, the best way to play PS1 games. There are only a tiny handful of games with any compatibility issues whatsoever: out of 7,918 games, less than 20 have ANY graphical or audio errors, and Metal Gear Solid is rated “Perfect” in terms of compatibility. Also, the PC port has a LOT of broken issues that can’t easily be fixed since the patch to do so is still under development. It’s not as busted as MGS2’s PC port, (even including V’s Fix when compared to the PS3 version) but it’s still better to just emulate the PS1 original when you get access to a giant variety of enhancement options and the ability to play it on an exorbitant variety of hardware.
