Anthony Garguila - gar jew la.
Anthony collaborated with Voiceplay in "Golden Hour", "Wellington", "Black Hole Sun", "Creep", "Just Sing" and many shorts videos.
He was supposed to be in"Hoist The Colours" however because of covid he couldn't travel (he's in NY). So josè Rosario Jr filled in at last minute singing Eli's parts and Eli singing Anthony's parts. Turned out to be the right move as Hoist The Colours is one of their best videos.
Josè was also in "My Mother Told Me" and "Drunken Sailor" with them.
This song just goes to prove Voiceplay is no longer human (along with several others)
Eli reached out of the galaxy with thise high notes and invited Anthony to join the fun. 😀 🌌
Geoff went deeper then the depths of He11 (nice expression on that one)😈
Layne proved he swallowed the invading mothership (saving the earth from an alien invasion) 😂👽

Thank you for a great reaction to Voice Play. Would you please do a reaction video to Voice Plays cover of Hell Fire from the Hunchback of Notre Dame ? Geoff takes the lead. Towards the end he shows us his rock high. Also Voice Plays cover of Creep ? Cesar will make you cry, they all will.

This has a lot more post-production work on the vocals than most VoicePlay songs do, especially ones arranged by Geoff. But it all seems to work really well for the song and their take on it!
I am very old - did not know this song. It is amazing. One of my favorite bits is when Anthony makes that insane run up and then passes it over to Eli. But I think Layne is the MVP in this one. Geoff did a great arrangement!!

Anthony also featured in VoicePlay's The Golden Hour video. The look on your face when Geoff hit the "hounds of Hell" note... priceless.

Another exceptional arrangement from Voiceplay!! The standard is just soooooooo high for them!! Anthony (Gar Jew La) is in a number of their releases including Creep, Black Hole Sun, Golden Hour....he's phenomenal!!

I remember when VoicePlay dropped this. I just sat there kind of dumbfounded. So perfectly done. Anthony showed up the first time in Just Sing, a video VoicePlay did when covid came along. They had former members, guest vocalists, competitors from the Sing-Off all making appearances via Zoom and singing their hearts out. The funds raised from Just Sing went to music artists that were having a bad time during covid. If you watch/react to it make sure you have captions on so you will know who everyone is and their claim to fame. The caption under Anthony said that he hadn't sung with them, but they want him to. He's been in Golden Hour, this one, Creep, Black Hole Sun, and some shorts -one of which is Wellerman.

Thanks for your reaction! Anthony has done a few covers and shorts with Voice Play and they are all fire! Anthony's connection to Voice Play is his mom and Eli's moms have been friends since they were young.

I have just accepted for a long time that I am a sugar addict .... until very recently when I was prescribed high blood pressure meds .. So , I am eating healthier and plan to lose some weight before Halloween. 👍

Anthony's name is pronounced Garjoola. He's appeared a few times now with VoicePlay. He has an amazing voice. He does a lot on Tik Tok with two other people, sitting on his kitchen work top. :)

Yes, he sang harmony with Teddy Swims and another guy. He does a lot of those 3 part harmony covers and they are so good! 😊
I went back after to check. That's one of my favorite 3 part harmonies I've ever heard.
I adore Anthony he's in several of my Voiceplay favorites. And Cesar is so good in it, he really knows how to vamp to the camera. And this arrangement is awesome, I too prefer it to the original. There's actually only one video with an arrangement I don't care for, I feel like Voiceplay got relegated to back up singers. Half of them don't even have solo moments in it. It's weird because they're usually so good at giving everyone at least one line to themselves. And it sounds lovely, no complaints on the voices we DO hear. I won't say what it is, though, don't want to color your viewing of it. For more Anthony, though, check out Voiceplay's versions of Creep, The Wellerman, Golden Hour or their cover of Black Hole Sun.💙

@@MrsRealistic Sorry, not trying to be a tease. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way about that video though, I remember some of the comments to the same effect. I just get a different vibe off it, too. But as I said, I don't want to prejudice your viewing of it. You may love it! I will say, however, that in least in the comments, I have yet to see that video suggested to ANY reactor as a good Voiceplay video. 💙
