    Probably safe to say he emphasized to disconnect the battery specifically because he’s narrating over photos (whether he took them or not) where it wasn’t. Not because he’s ignoring his own advice.

    I mean, maybe he could have led with disconnect the battery. But otherwise, very helpful video! I am gonna be trying to take a radio out of a junkyard blazer, as someone put in a aftermarket one in mine and it doesnt work. Do i need to grab any of the wires or just the head unit?

    My 03 S-10 used 7mm hex screws, not Phillips. That convoluted set-up you used on the one in center of dash cluster is ridiculous. 1/4 drive ratchet with appropriate socket or bit works much better and less chance of slipping and damaging cluster face.

      7mm is correct on my 2000 zr2
      Never seen one with screws

      @@efwefwef4747 7mm is a hex screw size, they are machine screws with 7mm hex heads.

    Wtf do you mean phillips head screwdriver?? Unless the screws have been changed by a previous owner they NEVER have phillips screws.

    I need help . Have a 2000 Oldsmobile BraVada . With a cd changer and steering wheel controls .. someone cut the stock harness . I've removed the cd changer and stick amp

    I didn't disconnect the battery and now I must have blew a fuse somewhere but the truck won't start and the gear lights don't work... any ideas what fuses to change?

    yea everything is lit up,the gauges and the head unit clock is still on he forgot to follow steps one and blah blah blah haha sure we will subscribe to learn the shitty way of doing things haha

    yeah probably gonna go with another one who actually follows their own advice lol. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY! you can clearly see the battery still connected while removing
