Yes, I add a small amount of glue in the inside of the head to permanently secure the hair and lashes. And yes, I do spray the face with finishing sealer after I have completed the doll.

Question regarding the scalp paint, do you apply some kind of sealer afterwards? How long do you leave it to dry? Have you ever had an issue of flaking paint when rerooting? 🙏🏻

After I paint the scalp I usually hit it with a blow dryer to dry it because I'm impatient hahaha.. I don't use anything to seal the paint after. I've never had an issue with it coming off.

For the Malibu Francie doll Mattel did use the Casey face mold and called her Francie. Not sure why but they did.

The lips are all original and in perfect condition although the lighting in my photo makes the left side look like some is missing .. arrgghhh LOL
