    She’s just beautiful and the resemblance to the prototype is spot on. You do incredible work April:) (assuming that’s your name by your info above:D
    Question regarding the varnish. I see you use Satin varnish. Another Vintage Barbie restorer mentioned using Matte varnish. Is there much of a difference? Just glossy vs matte? Thanks 😊

    • @tinytinkerbell565
      @tinytinkerbell565  Год назад +1

      Thank you!.. regarding the satin varnish.. I mix that in with my paint while painting. Once I'm completely finished painting and it's dry, I spray the entire face with the mr clear matte spray. I probably should mention that in my videos lol.. I forget to mention it because the face paint isn't dry enough to seal the face while videoing.

    Another question April:) Does all acetone work pretty much the same? I bought some from a beauty supply store and it doesn’t take the paint off very easily. It seems so quick in these kinds of videos.
    Does it take longer than it looks (and more elbow grease) or do I need to get a new brand? 😅 I have to tell you again how much I enjoy watching your videos. You are so skilled at restoring dolls 💕

    • @tinytinkerbell565
      @tinytinkerbell565  Год назад +2

      The paint comes off immediately just like in the videos. I have come across some acetone that doesn't remove the paint so I make sure I buy only 100% acetone. You shouldn't have to scrub or wipe hard at all.

    • @rikkib7636
      @rikkib7636 Год назад

      @@tinytinkerbell565 thank you! I’ve since bought a different brand (both claimed to be 100% acetone) and the new stuff worked perfectly.
      I have a video suggestion 🙏🏻 It’s a little more personal, but I would love to hear how you got into restoring dolls and about your art background 😊
