To be honest I think the horse looks more magical with the hair discoloration and it fortunately looks like the tail discolored a bit too so it sort of looks like it’s actually supposed to be that way and amazing job on the jewel hair Teresa!!!!!

The Theresa doll is gorgeous! They just don't make them like that anymore. 💞. Aryan....is it possible to try oxy clean on the horses hair? Let it soak for about half and hour. Then wash again. Sometimes over time dyes oxidize and turn black. Which is why I suggest oxy clean. Oxygen is released and targets the stains. No guarantee, but give it a try. Soak, then wash, then repeat, if necessary. 😊 Good luck!

The braids and bows add a magical, pastel touch to the mane and it looks lovely as is. As for Teresa, well, it was so much easier years ago to fix dolls and put them back in their original packaging. I have the Jewel Hair Mermaid dolls. Christie is the one I'm missing as well. Even deboxed she costs a lot. When I originally bought the dolls I bought the three they had, but Christie (which came one to a box) was already gone. I kept trying to find her, on the shelves, at various stores but no such luck. 🙁. Now even deboxed ones are expensive. 🙁 I would settle with one that is nude but the hair is always cut. So, like you, my search continues.

You can use alcohol (pure alcohol) and remove the glue and leave it for 6 hours. But take tace with the plastic (the head and the body). I removed all the glue of my monster high head with alcohol, but I cracked one of them because I immersed for a lot of hours her head in alcohol😂
@@Barbination maybe it has something to do with the hair type and color and maybe it has something to do with glue? Like maybe this was a test or early stage for the future glue technique and if that’s true then who knows maybe Monster High, ever after high and barbies from that era will have discoloration too in like 10 years? But it kinda looks ombré on Lila so think of it as a cool new look :)

I used a little vinegar in with shampoo and my 2 brats dolls came out very nice because they were along time in my basement so they smelled too ,but with the vinegar it took all the smells away

The king finally gets his jewel hair mermaid Teresa 👑 and what a heart warming story. Kindness counts. 💜 PS I had Lila as a little girl and she also had that hair problem eventually after years of playing with her. I didn’t have her out in the sun though, so maybe it was just a defect in the material they used? I hope you figure it out!
Those are lovely displays. The Fashionista models are pretty but something with getting the 80' s or 90's models is intersting because the shape of their face and makeup is not emo or gothic in appearance. I take mine out the boxes and place the doll onto a stand because it doesnt garuntee that UV exposure wont go through the plastic film. I notice you take extra caution with your collection though. People can reroot damaged hair but the animals must be harder ive only done work with flexible head dolls.

I would try soaking the dark hair in peroxide for a few hours.
Came to suggest exactly the same. Maybe UV light also, or at least sunlight while it has the peroxide on.

Can I suggest standing the horse in a sunny window, may take a few months and turning, natural sunlight brightens the plastic, may work for the hair
I'm pretty sure the sun is was caused the hair to darken in the first place so i don't think that'll work... would probably make it worse tbh
