Hey george, we're grateful for your perspective, although avoidance of hard things is a destructive way to go about conflict. One of the most incredible things we've learned through the research and couples themselves proofing it, has been that being able to confront conflict and unhealthy patterns in a relationship is actually one of the 6 fundamental elements to a great relationship. Avoidance, however, actually enables maladaptive coping mechanisms and is a sign of fear of one's ability to gracefully navigate conflict, and a staunch indicator of levels of low belief in oneself, believe it or not. We hope you're not avoiding conflict and missing out on a meaningful relationship because of this what you haven't learned yet! We welcome you to jump on an RTC Free session to learn some new skills! =)
@TheConsciousCouplesPodcast not missing out on a relationship. Missing out on my ability to retire. It all goes in the divorce. Now i work until the day i physically can not anymore.
Avoid the patterns. Stay single
