I built my first 5” analog fpv about a year and a half ago and have over 1000 hrs in liftoff and absolutely 💯 been loving it!! Just need to go find some better locations now that I’m comfortable flying it! Great video and keep up the hard work!!

No music is wild! That'd be difficult to pull off
You can flash INAV firmware and have gps position hold like your consumer camera drone plus get really good flight characteristics. Typcially bind 'n flies come pre-installed with Betaflight and people just aren't aware of INAV. I use both and both are good.

@@NickBr4ndon full send 8000 mah lion from iflight flys great with a GoPro 12, it's heavy but works great, also a 5000 mah LIPO for more horse power works well.

@@NickBr4ndon 15-25 mins, put it this way, with the Full Send 8000 mah li-on from iflight your gonna be able to soar any peak the goggles signal reaches several times before having to land.

the thing about flying a low cam angle is you learn to carry speed from dives and manouevres. i use about 10deg, but for the sweet spot where you can dead stop and look at something and also chase something 18deg is the magic number. i now think of cam angle in terms of a forced minimum speed. 10deg is less then 3miles an hour,

Finding the line is a great tip! I was watching one of MaiOnHigh's videos on drone racing, and she mentioned the same thing. Finding the line through the next gate before you enter the upcoming one. This tip cut my lap time with a significant amount of time. And now I see that here with cinematic as well. Very interesting! Thanks a ton!

I just got myself a DJI mini 4 pro at xmass and I love it. I love it so much that I got a DJI Avata 2 today and I haven't even flown it yet. Still waiting for batteries to charge so that'll be tomorrow now. Roll on morning

Hey Peter, just writing this while still watching. Have you try switching the gimbal stick on the DJI Controller to third party options which are longer? I personally feel it'll help a bit with the travel distance. I use the Tango 2 as well and it's definitely my favourite.

Yeah, i painted the flight controller and all soldering with silicone conformal coating!

Does anyone know why he flies with a 3d printed gopro mount instead of using the flip out go pro feet please?
I don't know why Peter does that. But I use the printed mount to protect my gopro more.
It may also resolve some jello issues for some builds.

@@PeterLindgren1 some may call that sluggish haha. A heavier drone doesn’t mean it’s cinematic, it means it’s going to fly more like a 737 plane than an f-15 jet.
@@LZRFPV Yeah, that's the thing though. More weight means smoother movements. Same principle with regular cameras too!
Heavy battery's do not improve flight characteristics a light weight battery is much better atleast for freestyle
Oh it does. I’ve tried multiple different batts. This works great for what I want to achieve. Also extends the flight time
@PeterLindgren1 probably for long range but there is a reason why pilots try to shave off as much weight as possible I would never put that massive lipo on a 5 inch
As I said, I’ve tried all the different sizes. For cinematic flying, this is the shit. Wanna do flips and flops? Go lighter :)

Seems like there are a lot of people confused with the difference between cinematic and freestyle in the comments. If you want to be a clown, then choose a light battery to do your clown acrobatic moves.
