I am currently off work, having cbt therapy ( 4th out of 8 sessions through private health insurance ). Work want me to provide a fit note so I have to get one from doctors this week as I have been off about a month. I am worried about going back, but also getting bored sat at home with only 1hr each week of therapy. Your video has helped me and I will have to ask therapist tomorrow what they think about when I go back as well as ask doctor if medication will help…… Think if I had more regular sessions I would be more sure that I could have tools to cope on return to work.
This is great and very helpful. However what would someone do like me who hasn’t got a workplace to go back too. So when I’m ready for work again, I’m going to have to sit for interviews. So what kind of things should I be saying about my long gap in employment? Do I lie or tell the truth? Xxx
Fayarella Bee sorry for the delayed response I haven’t been that well also super busy means I’m not online as much Just be honest you don’t want to worn for a company where you have to lie to get a job!! It’s better to get a job that takes longer to get than take a job as a result of a lie Employers should not be asking so you could interview without telling and then tell them after the offers been made then ask for adjustments Terri have my number you can message me if you need help after interview
