    What I always hated about pressure washers is just how stiff the hoses are. It makes the connection pieces a pain to get right without leaking. This hose (at least on video) looks pliable which is very nice. Having the automatic roll back and 100 feet of hose is a game changer on this type of unit. Very well done.

    So love love love the simplicity and the length of the hose. My biggest complaint with any pressure washer is that they do not use a quick dis-connect between the hose and the wand. Every time you wind up you have to twist the handle a million times over to keep the kinks out.
    Also for $500 I would like to see an outdoor cover included. Sun will eat the hose away quickly

    • @dougshomeshop3056
      @dougshomeshop3056 2 года назад +2

      Most pressure washers (in the USA) of any reasonable quality and longevity will come standard with a 3/8” quick disconnect at the hose end to the pump, and also the wand to hose and at the wands interchangeable spray head connection. Durable units will have in part pumps from independent pump manufactures such as Cat or General.

    • @mohamhead9701
      @mohamhead9701 2 года назад +1

      Quick disconnects don't work under pressure, plus they're dangerous if they do. Swivel high pressure hose connectors might be available for this unit. A swivel hose connector at the gun eliminates a lot of hose winding aggravation. Storing a pressure washer in freezing temperatures is the kiss of death for pumps and trigger guns.

    • @johnathan1019
      @johnathan1019 2 года назад

    Another tip, if I may:
    Use either PRESSURE TREATED wood OR a composite board to mount it to an exterior wall. That will extent the life of the mounting by virtue of rot resistance... 🙂

    My wife bought a Ryobi electric 1800 psi pressure washer. Very stiff hose and it’s cumbersome the way it’s designed. Does it work yes but I wouldn’t repeat buy it. I’ve used commercial steam cleaners, hot water pressure washers and they make a huge different but not ideal for many applications. You don’t need one that will strip the paint off your equipment or vehicles unless of course that’s what you intend to do.
    I like this set up for most cleaning that can be done within the hose’s range.

  • @lemichaeljohnson2069
    @lemichaeljohnson2069 2 года назад +2

    My other thought is one more thing to service in cold climates where it drops well below freezing.
    Also too they never live up to their rated psi.
    And if you put this in a garage (to keep it from being outside in the elements) then you risk failure and potentially water leaking in your garage.
    3rd thing is the price.
    I would rather pay my $199 for a portable washer and be able yo store it in a shed or garage later to keep out of the elements.
    Although it’s a unique idea and it will sell to some. Most do not have the $500 to purchase a product Like this when there are much cheaper options.

  • @johnnysweekends

    Did you test the outlet pressure? When I received mine to review it was way off for psi about 350 psi.
    I told the company I could not review the item till fixed. Good design and nice looking but minimal performance for the price. My 7 year old electric performed better.
    Let me know…👍🏼

    The only thing nice about these are the reel! I have no idea what they measure psi with, but I have a calibrated gauge and laughably low at the nozzle and right off the pump not even half the stated pressure! Maybe I got a bum unit, but when my $100, 5 year old Greenworks electric pressure washer performs better and makes the pressure, the $600 unit went back! Thought it would be a great garage mount to wash down the 5th wheel, tractor, dump trailer, etc., but...

    That's a great idea I'm not usually one for electric pressure washers since they usually lack the pressure part but 2500psi is pretty impressive from one. I thought it could have done a bit neater of a job rolling itself back up some m since it left that gap on the bottom row but other then that looks nice.

      Being a northerner myself, I came here to ask the same question. But the answer came to me when I saw your question. Get some RV water system antifreeze (which is pink) and pump it through the washer until it comes out the other end. Now it should survive the freezing temps. To use again, just run water back through it until it runs clear.
      Another option is to blow out the water with air but keep your PSI under 20 so the pressure doesn't damage the pump.

    For the money there are better options. The pump is weak and has no flow.

    $500 dollars for a plug-in pressure washer 😂 WTH is going on here.

    The water flow is not that good. Most gas powered pressure washers are 2.5 gpm to 2.9 gpm. The secret to a good washer is it's gpm and not pressure. This machine is over priced in my opinion especially because of its limited gpm.

    obsessed garage reviewed these giraffe machines and they are probably the worst pressure washers ever made. Remember this video is sponsored by giraffe, so it's not a real review. Do not buy these, plus they are over 500$ for complete junk.
