So I've only used this pressure washer one time. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP The one time I used it, it worked great. I recently had new siding installed but kept the old gutters and small areas surrounding my house that weren't replaced so they looked horrible and dirty because of the new siding. I needed to get it cleaned asap. When I used the pressure washer, man it just melted all the dirt and grime that was on those areas of my house. I used that krud kutter soap and it was over after that. Easy to assemble, feels durable, very simple to use. Also, I purchased a used one to save money and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get more use out of it so I think I'll be washing the cars and update this comment as time goes on.
Pressure is just a restriction to flow so if you reduce the flow rate you will increase the pressure. I would imagine they have a built-in pressure relief, so they don't burn out of motor/pump assembly. That squeak sounds like a slow closing valve which would be used to reduce water hammer issues so it may sound annoying but it's better than breaking water lines from hammering. I install similar valves at work on my process equipment, so I know that sound all too well.
I like the way everything is all mounted together . Makes for a really clean look. I was fairly interested in this unit, right up till I heard the squeal of death.
nice review! I like the testing you did and your setup is pretty sick. Although this unit is pretty expensive, I might looks for some other options since i'm not a big detailer guy and just need to do a basic cleaning on my cars.
@MikeLife1 thanks I don't vape anymore but I did go down a rabbit hole went back to Mike vapes channel and started looking at old build videos and some new stuff almost want to buy set up just to have it lol
That part that the manul doesn't tell you about is a very crucial part of the assembly, it's a doo-dad and helps with the complete function and operation of the thinga-ma-jig
While hard turn 90 degree fittings make things look neat and make things easy to hook up, they do impede flow of liquid. Any type of fitting that has a radius design or even just a hose that is routed in a radius will out flow a hard 90. Also a sharp or hard 90 will cavitate in the corner as well. Fluid dynamics. How much loss I have never checked, but have experienced it while running fuel and oiling systems for performance applications such as race car, performance boats, etc. Flow dramatically changes when using a full flow 90 vs a hard 90. This is on the low pressure side not the high pressure side, higher pressure overcomes the restriction at some point. Whether it affects the gpm on the suction side of a high pressure pump is unknown. Just some info.
Great set up Mike, your like me with quick connects. Makes it so easier, but also more secure. Looks to be a nice pressure washer. I've got an industrial pressure washer, mine has a psi guage built in and a knob to up and lower the pressure
@@BenDavey34 The one thing I can tell you is that I use a 100’ hose with my older Active unit and I clean 2500sqft of white marble pavers with no issues what so ever.
I wouldn't pay $300 for this. Their PSI & GPM is off, which they all are. Therefore them saying the unit will last around 200 hours has got to be off as well so I'm guessing the unit will last a little over 100 hours. More like a disposable pressure washer. Not for me but I like the video. Thx
Can u do a psi test without the quick connects? Wonder if that restricts it? Idk bc how can they advertise 2700 psi and it not actually not getting close to that number without any modifications
The induction motor doesn't benefit as much from a bigger office because it's rpms are tied to 60hz electric, the brushed motor can turn more rpms if load drops. The noise is a valve leaking your pressure off and that might go away after break in, or not LOL. I would stick with the plus+ model or the G20.
Mike, these quick disconnects for hose n gun, are these M22 or M15? I could not find any M15s but in your description it says M22 15mm. Would that be the one? Thank you
Do you happen to notice the pressure washer pro putting pressure back into the supply line when you let go of the trigger? Mine makes that whine noise as well but seems to add an extreme amount of pressure back into my water supply and it doesn't seem right.
@@MikeLife1I understand that the pressure washer it self will hold pressure. But using the supplied black hose that came with the product you can visually watch that black hose swell up when trigger is released. It's a great enough amount of pressure that it blows the seal on a filter housing I have installed before the pressure washer. I have 2 of these units and both do the same thing. Any experience with that?
I bought a portable pressure washer but thinking about taking it back to buy this. Would u recomend this? Do I need an air compressor to make it work or just hook the water hose to it? Will this replace a pressure washer?
Hey mike, I have a similar setup with that pressure washer and mine isn’t putting out any pressure after I press the trigger 3-4 times. Even though it’s still on, after the third or fourth press of the trigger, it doesn’t stay pressurized or make any noise at all anymore. Any thoughts as to why this is? Also, when I attach the foam cannon, the foam falls to the floor. I’ve tried 5 different foam cannons and 2 different sprayers. I’ve also replaced the oriface and adjusted the top and front knobs of all foam cannons and the foam still falls to the floor. I’m stumped.
The marking on your tips is not mm, it is a rating for the volume of washer they are for. The marking are GPM rating. 2.5 GPM, 3.0 GPM ... So yeah a 3.0 is going to flow more than a 2.5. Also the other marking on the tips is the degree of fan. Great review though.

That sound is water hammer because it's a quick closing valve..would try puting a inline air arrester on there should help with the sound.

I have the same unit and it does not make that noise
Nice upgrades with the metal 👊🏼
Looks awesome on the wall and there’s 2!
Annoying screaming noise but it does well.
Thanks FloridaMike 🌴😎

Awesome video Mike, I look forward to the next one.
7:44 Yo, it has a longer hang down? 👀👀👀 Keep it family friendly bro! 🤣🤣🤣
Been watching Mike vapes for years didn't know about this channel

Do you have any videos on how you did your piping for your pressure washer setup?

Where are you finding the PSI rating? It’s not listed anywhere on the website
Mike, did you find out what the “hub pin” was for?

@@MikeLife1 with having that 100ft hose, do you notice a drop in pressure at all with it been such a long hose, Compared to a standard 10 / 15ft hose?
@@BenDavey34 Not sure. I haven't attempted to remove the hose to try a shorter one. But I'm sure it looses a little pressure

Nice review and nice garage. Is it still working?
Great video! Thank you!
Did u install the bracket straight onto the drywall??
thanks Mike..
Thank You
I have the first Gen wish it had a larger diameter hose.

System is turning off at 2500-2600psi so it matches it’s rating. The smaller the nozzle the closer to the rating you will be.
Looks like you’re in Cape Coral or Ft. Myers area…..
Hi… is the machine loud..? (Decibel meter count)..
From DUBAI with ❤
Mike, have you ever tried the grey Fierce jet pressure wash hoses? The hose on the reel looks just like them
Haven't tried that yet
Great review!
They just released an Upgraded Pro version that comes with 3300 Psi motor for $699
Can u do a psi test without the quick connects? Wonder if that restricts it? Idk bc how can they advertise 2700 psi and it not actually not getting close to that number without any modifications
would thie be good for dog kennels?
thank you Mike! xo
Is the metal parts the only difference from the Pro to the Plus? Does the PLUS have metal parts and the better ball bearings and the better stopper?
Do they all make that noise?
Great video!

What is the best wall mounted pressure washer you recommend?
where did you get the black wall shelf
Home depot website. It's made by Husky

Yup. That's the one
The annoying sound could just be that there’s to much psi in the system so it will release air to meet that balance
Do you happen to notice the pressure washer pro putting pressure back into the supply line when you let go of the trigger? Mine makes that whine noise as well but seems to add an extreme amount of pressure back into my water supply and it doesn't seem right.
It will always have pressure till you release it

yup. outdoor rated
Mike, where did you buy your PEX cut off valves with the two mounting screw holes? I can’t find them at my local big box store. Thanks!
If I remember correctly I bought them from Lowe's
Great video Mike,I just found this washer after ordering active 2.0. Which one do you like better?
Active is a great pressure washer for auto cleaning
What size pex are you running to the unit? 1/2 or 3/4”? I have 1/2” and I’m hoping it will work for me. Thanks!
I'm using 1/2" with no issues
@@MikeLife1 Awesome! That’s good to hear since I already plumbed in 1/2”. I was afraid I was going to have to rip it out. Thanks for the quick reply.
I bought a portable pressure washer but thinking about taking it back to buy this. Would u recomend this? Do I need an air compressor to make it work or just hook the water hose to it? Will this replace a pressure washer?
No air compressor needed. The pump is built into the back of the housing. Just hook up a water hose and a 20 amp dedicated circuit.

You should contact Giraffe tools. They will replace it for you.
So you think it’s the pressure washer? What about the foam cannon issue? Same deal? Could be the pressure washer?
Is this Mike Vapes?
Yes it is. Welcome to my other channel
100-300hrs of usage?
Nice
Did you ever find out about the squeal after pump shuts off?
First they told me it wasn't supposed to do that. Now they're saying it's natural to make that sound
The marking on your tips is not mm, it is a rating for the volume of washer they are for. The marking are GPM rating. 2.5 GPM, 3.0 GPM ...
So yeah a 3.0 is going to flow more than a 2.5. Also the other marking on the tips is the degree of fan.

not much pressure at all. maybe good for grandma's antique plates?
That noise coming from regulator on outside faucet
Nope. It's from pressure washer
that thing is almost $600 and squeals like a pig. No thanks! Is this sound normal?
Couple hundred hours of use....that's horrible....thanks for the info I'm not even considering this garbage now.
Your cold water supply is way too small to give you adequate flow to your system, you should be using a water tank to draw from.
Not true. I get 2 gpm with my other pressure washer.
hahaaa...no it's simply the pressure release.
Do not buy the Pro! It is a 1.2 GPM setup, the two models below it are 2.0 GPM. Not sure why they did that!
Malaka
This thing blows. I have one. Don’t waste your money
The quality on the giraff air hose reel was awful!!! I sent it back for a coxreel
