I basically ordered the same truck back in 2018. Mine wasn't a Mega Cab. It was a good running truck and was able to tow. However, I traded it in on a 2022 3500 Limited Longhorn Mega Cab with the high output Cummins. There is no comparison between the two trucks.
If you think my truck is rare, then you will really think it's rare when I tell you the price. I only paid $84K. It came with every option, but sunroof, air suspension, and trailer TPMS. It even came with all of the cameras for the trailer. I purchased the truck in March of 2022.
I agree on having the gauges up so you can see them, but prefer to get to them through the screen on the UConnect offroad pages under accessories I believe. I have the 4wd package. This is a nice truck... but at almost 22K more than my 2500, I don't think so...
Very good looking truck inside and out and I’m a sucker for the blacked out mega cab. But, no just completely too much money. You can get a very loaded Dmax from the GM twins for this money. Laramie’s come with less equipment than 5 years ago unless you add on packages. I completely understand why this customer backed out😂
I paid 83,000 for brand new mega cab Cummins Ho dually pearl white with night edition. That I ordered from dealership and waited a year to get.I couldn’t pay that price for single wheel gasser. Only reason it was 83,000 and not 97,000 is my local dealership only charges new build orders wholesale on what they would pay for it so they don’t make any money off it.
My gosh JB what the heck is going on with these prices. I'm not biased to any particular Brand. Outfitted the way I personally like a truck they all look good. But no matter what anybody says the GM is by far the best buy right now. Still to much but better than Ram and Ford. For me personally I'm not a big fan of the look of the running boards on my 2020 GMC 3500HD Denali Dually. But for me they do serve a purpose other than stepping on, I live on a ranch with gravel dirt roads. All the rocks that get stuck in my 35" toyo mt tires cone flying out and hit the bottom of the running boards. Better that than the front side of my rear fenders. Like the videos bro.
I was actually going to buy the Delmonico Red Ram 3500 dually I reviewed before the Chevy dually got there but they wanted sticker which was $97k… That was a whopping $19k not including the discount I got on the Chevy… RAM makes a great truck but $20k better is up for debate… that’s awesome, and I didn’t think about gravel hitting the side of the bed, thanks for sharing 👍🏾👍🏾
I'm not sure that disabling MDS will prevent those complex lifters from failing and taking out the camshaft. No thanks. Dont let that oil get dirty either. Kudos to Ford for no MDS or AFM on the 7.3. GM sued for AFM? Don't think the GM 6.6 has it either. Wonder why. Lol
Yes, I bought a 22 Laramie 6.4 Hemi with the off road package, sport package, snow chief package for MSRP 63,600 in March 2022 with a 1K off IF I traded with the dealer late model truck. I had a 2021 1500 loaded Built to Serve that just wasn't cutting it as my tow vehicle even though technically within specs and still came out 7K ahead from the original trade in on the 2015 1500 in June 2021 where I had originally come out around 15K ahead due to insane trade ins. So, I was still good all in all. So I felt like I got an OK deal at the time "1K" below MSRP as the gas prices were just starting to sieze up the new truck market, but I also got a 3.24% interest rate (84 months) KNOWING that they would be going up... Oh, I bought it 500 miles from home as they also gave me almost 3K more for my trade in vs local who was still marking new ones up at that point,, no deals what so ever. But in relation to pricing on Rams... Just for the heck of it, I kept building the same truck on the Ram build site till like Jan 2023. It kept going up like 1500 bucks every six weeks/two months, same truck... The last one I saw was up to almost 72K, same truck in January 2023... So, a year later and a bit, I realize I got a killer deal... A close 2023 version is now 74,310 (just built it) with the only difference being the 2023 has the blind spot monitoring but does not have the big alternator I got as the Snow Chief package has changed and they won't let you set up like mine with required package changes... So, technically at 62,600 I got my early 2022 model built Dec 2021 at 11,700 bucks less (18.39% MSRP difference) than a May 2023 version extremely close to mine. I am a very happy camper, literally...
@@JB_WhoWork Bro...this thing cost more than our loaded 3500/MC/H.O.s did. Its hard to swallow knowing that we had thr full-tilt Ram! If this were a new/updated 5Th-Gen with the latest tech...mayyyybe, but come on Ram. If they're charging this much to help develop the new HD, it had damn well knock the ball out of the park!
Very beautiful truck but way overpriced! That Laramie level F package for 5k has all options, which used to be and should be standard options on a Laramie. Stop buying these overpriced trucks people. Thanks for another video!
I mean it’s a nice looking truck and plenty fancy but no need to sugar coat it buddy. It’s a very distant last place now and that price is insane! You can get a diesel Chevy for a good amount less than that with more options. Ridiculously priced especially for by far the oldest truck on the market.
Oh I’m not sugar coating but it’s still a rare build and a nice truck for someone who just wants a loaded gas pickup. If you lockout MDS, should be the most reliable gasser currently
Yes when you go spec for spec compared to the other brands you get less and pay more, plus the actual gas engine and transmission is the worst of the big 3 in mt opinion, when they do update the engine and interior again I can't imagine the price
Imo the 6.4 and 8 speed is proven compared to the Godzilla, and new 6.6 yeah Gm and fords gas engines have more power. But I’d take 6.4/8 speed with 4.10s all day long
@@hellkitty1014 you’re right, they’re decent. I will say that mine surges/lurches forward at times. Last week as I was parking in front of my garage, it lurched forward. Thank goodness I reacted quick with the brake pedal otherwise it might have hit the garage.
Honestly the Ram is a very nice cooking truck. The interior is nice for sure. I still prefer the GM aesthetics personally. The other thing is there are usb and power outlets everywhere! I’m sure that’s convenient! However, I have always heard that Dodges tend to have electrical issues. I would buy a dodge over a ford any day personally.
Wow. I have a 2022 2500 Limited Mega Cab Hemi that doesn't have the night edition or sunroof, but was $78K MSRP. How can this 2023 pricing be justified? Hey, does this mean that I may get a good trade on my RAM because you can't even get the Hemi in Limited trim this year? LOL.
@@JB_WhoWork Well the answer to my question is NO! I attempted to trade my truck for a 2024 2500 AT4 today. They offered me $14k below what I paid a year ago for the truck I mentioned above. Looks like I wont be owning a 2024 Sierra! Didn’t expect that much depreciation.
Beautiful truck for sure but Ram needs to pull their head out on the price.
Yup, I would like to see this under $80k

The invoice price of the 3500 High Country Duramax that I ordered, is 4k less than the invoice price of the 3500 Laramie Cummins.
It still seems like a big pill to swallow… Maybe in 10 years we will miss this pricing 🤣🤣🤣
