Yup. Got offered invoice pricing on a 2024 3500 Laramie. Was still slightly higher then the MSRP of roughly equivalent Ford Lariat and Chevy LTZ builds. Ridiculous.
I've had Ram boxes on my last 2 trucks and i LOVE them. So much that It makes it hard for me to consider another brand. But the price is making me think about GMC.
Just picked up a ‘23 2500 Tradesman Cummins “quick build” with bigger touch screen, running boards, sprayed in liner, all weather mats. It was discounted $7600 which finally made it affordable for us. Bought a Tradesman for the payload… towing a fifth wheel. Took your advice on that. Thank you for the good information. Replaced our 2004 Powerstroke. A new Powerstroke wasn’t affordable and just couldn’t compete.
$106K, yet Limiteds are hard to come by. So they definitely still sell at this price. Limited F250/350s arent any less expensive(granted you do get a newer design). I still have my 2020 3500 Limited SRW in Delmonico Red. I never have experienced an instance where I thought the truck was inadequate in any way. The most frustrating thing that I can think of is Ram never thought to add a telescoping steering wheel since 2010!😂 Ram does indeed have torque limits when empty on the H.O.s. I say that because the truck pulls much better in tow/haul and 4WD Hi. But a Banks tuner takes care of all of the limiting and makes it a completely different animal. I love the fact that I can change shift points on my Aisin.
Same thing as my 2021 basically. I paid waaaaaaaaaay less money. Less than the base price. And I even have the chrome hooks and 50 gallon fuel tank. Also long bed so it can tow anything. I love my Ram air suspension. AISIN is great. I weigh up to 30,000 lbs total sometimes so the AISIN/H.O. combo is amazing.
This isn't a bad looking truck. I like the fact you can get the HO Cummins in the SRW. But $106,660 for a Ram that hasn't had any updates for 2 or 3 yrs. now is expensive. Well the cost of trucks and other vehicles will be going up again soon. The UAW is going to be going on strike soon if they can't get agree on a contract. If the big 3 agree to what the auto workers union wants vehicles will be way to expensive to buy and used vehicles prices will be going back up also most likely. Thanks JB great video.
Traded in my 2020 F350 DRW 6.7 Lariat for 2023 Ram 3500 Limited DRW HO 6.7 night edition 4.1 Gear. I have waited for over 10 months for F450 Limited. After driving Ram 3500 Limited, I am blown away. It is much more comfortable, better cabin, dash and ride control. It comes with TPMS.. Auto leveling kit and tire is wide enough.. I am very happy with my decision.
Really appreciate you and the reviews. Thank You! Suggestions for Stellantis: 1.) Go with the AMP bumper step, not the factories, when dismounting the wider platform is needed. 2.) Why in the world did the 4-Pin trailer plug get deleted, forcing us all to buy a reducer for the most common plug in? 3.) No Owners Manual, RAM chargers $77.00 bucks (Including shipping) for a paper manual now. Think of the Lawsuits arising from say a family stranded in an area with not cell service, (Most of Idaho) that simply needed to refer to the traditional glove box manual.
In 2020 I scored a 2018 dealer demo Tungsten limited 2500 with 9k miles for 53G! Currently has 51k on the odometer! I can’t imagine getting rid of it at today’s prices😮
I got my 2019 2500 Cummins mega cab Laramie in 2022 summer for 49000 with an extended warranty that has already fixed 1600 of repairs (def line and ball joints) it’s had 79,000 miles when I got it and now has 108,000 miles as of fall 2023. This is my story. (Oh yea the transmission went out the first week I had it and was covered under power train warranty which now has additional 100,000 mile warranty) small detail I forgot to mention 😂😂😂😂
Is it possible to get a gas engine in a Limited? I think they took that away at least in the online builder. I wish those Ram boxes had better fit to them like the current half tons. Maybe on the next redesign.
If I had some good money I would use a truck like this in the oilfeild when it gets as old as the 4th Gen trucks but me personally I love the ram box I just wish it could come with the 5th wheel prep pack
I love the Rams but man they need an update, especially the transmission. I recently bought a HO F450 for my tow pig and the engine and transmission are on another level. I really wish the long box would come with the bigger 1500 cab. I planned on ordering a new Ram work truck this year but I think I'm gonna hold out for the 2025 hoping for the updates and hopefully Allison transmission that's been rumoured for a couple years now.
beautiful truck... I have a used 2018 mega cab purchased about 2 months ago and so far its towing my fifth wheel pretty darn good. yes its a little sluggish but the towing is great!
Manufacturers keep giving us more and more horsepower but we have to understand it comes at a cost of longevity. These trucks are built to tow loads, not to hot rod around town. I just don't understand people who spend so much $$$ on a diesel truck and jack up the horsepower with tuning and compromise reliable towing capability. If I wanted a hot rod truck I'd get a Godzilla Ford F-250 and tune that. That being said my "slow" 4th gen Ram tows sooo much better than my early 6.7 400 horsepower powerstroke.
everyone complains about price on trucks everyone doesn't understand how inflation works everyone doesn't understand how additional features raise price
@@sly9263no we understand but the problem is they’re Taking away features. Laramies no longer come with fenders. You can’t order them with power drop down running boards anymore. Heck I’m 2019 you couple get heated and cooled rear seats in a Laramie. Now you have to step up to a limited for all that’s it’s outrageous
@@42ambrocio I can go over a laundry list of safety features that cars weren't required to have 10 years ago that must be included now. Items unavailable due to chip shortages aren't part of the dialogue. With Ford, King Ranch and Platinum trims now have their previous $4,500 to $5,000 upgrade packages included in the trim itself (as it always should have been). Inflation is up 12-14% for 2023 vs when the 2022 models were released 2nd half 2021 and most people probably got less than half or even 1/4th that in raises over that span of time. The only thing that's outrageous to me is the amount of people that don't bother to do math or break everything down. It's not nearly as bad as you think it is.

heard the ram boxes warp over time, the doors or lids warp.....you should be able to get alot more off this truck than a couple of grand.......or grab a loaded laramie for 14k off......do believe grabbing the last model year is wise though, always issues in first one.....even GM has had alot more issues in 24 than previous few years, part of reason I grabbed a 23 plus a significant discount....
Great video! I’ve owned a 2020 Ford F350 with the 10-speed, which ended with a successful lawsuit. Currently own 2021 GMC Denali, 10 speed replaced at 30k mikes. Stay far, far away.
Can you tow a fifth wheel with this setup or no? I’ve read some people say you have to have sidewinder hitch is the only way I’m debating doing ram boxes but don’t want to have to change hitches on my camper
I don't think Ram is going to redesign any of there HD's before 2026 at the earliest. The Ram 1500's won't be getting a redesign until 2025, which would mean that the HD's would not be until 2026 becuase they ususally lag behind the 1/2 Tons by atleast 1 year.
I would love to have more content with a trailer and all those cameras! Also, I am 99% sure for 2023 & probably 2024 you get a CP3 pump instead of the CP4.2? I own a 2023 3500 DRW C&C & it has a CP3. Great video as always!
Ram went back to the CP3 in 2021 and issued a recall on 2019-2020 Rams to replace CP4 with CP3 at no cost. Sounds like people are still having issues getting that completed though. Personally I'd stay away from 19, 20 and 22 HO Rams based on major issues people have been having. I wouldn't touch a new Ram unless the EGR valve taking out the ECU issue has been resolved and the hydraulic lifter issue that seems to be present on 22 HO Rams that takes out the engines has been resolved as well. These newer 6.7 Cummins are not the poster child of reliability that the 4th gen Rams were.
JB,I have a 2022 Laramie. My brother has a 23 1500 Chevy. And the new interior is in 24 duramax’s. I don’t see how anyone could say that interior is even competing with Chevy. It’s not even close in my opinion.
