HU Zulu is a top ten blend for me. I was stationed in Vilseck, Germany in the US Army (3rd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division) and got attached to this blend. I took a big can of it with me on deployment to Kosovo and would smoke it while on tower guard duty, chilling around the sea hut, etc. I bought two tins immediately when it became available in the US and have not been disappointed; exact same blend, exact same delicious flavor that takes me right back to my time in Germany.
Looking forward to the reviews. I’ve come to really enjoy Nyala. I was dismayed at first because it pretty mild but the blend flavor is just fantastic. I have to admit that I don’t understand the hype around Director’s Cut which is disappointing because it is so well regarded…oh well, maybe my palette will love it after letting it rest a few months. Wow! I hope you have help lifting those. Those boxes look like they should be rated for “two person” lift. I’ve been on short-term disability for the last 6 weeks due to my surgery. I found out yesterday I have 6 weeks of home physical therapy. But I can go back to work with restrictions. I working in Sourcing prototype parts for new projects and my supervisor said to just work from home until the doctor releases me w/o restrictions. I’m glad I can. I was getting bored doing nothing. Hey Brian, love the new tool chest. Thats a real beauty. I agree that this one is middling tobacco. To me its like a cake version of Windjammer. I am enjoying the HU tobacco, Janneman Flake is the deal. I also got some Directors. Have a great Thanksgiving.
I could tell you got excited 😂 Makhuwa was almost like smoking a maduro cigar from what I can remember smoking a sample that was gifted to me few years ago. I’d suspect you’ll enjoy it. Have a great Thanksgiving bro!

I've got most of the HU tobaccos from smoking pipes. My favorites so far are Khoisaan and Zulu. They're amazing. Makhuwa is a close runner up. A wondrous and bold burley blend. Happy smokes!
Question for you I want to store 1 pound of Mac Baren, Virginia number one. Any reason not to tightly pack it into two pint mason jars? Will packing it to tight hurt anything?

Thanks for this review. I have a couple of the Sav releases but haven’t tried em. So far I like Directors and Janneman the best.
