Agreed, that is a stunning pipe. I just picked up my second ever pipe, my first sav, and it’s in 315 shape. Can’t wait to break it in. Didn’t realise you were in the uk, would love to meet you one day for a smoke!
That 673 is indeed a lovely desirable shape and the colours of the Lucite line, just beautiful. Hope Savinelli boost production of the 673 shape. I think you are going to get years of pleasure out of that pipe Nathan - enjoy!
It is always a pleasure to watch you enjoy a new pipe or blend, i look forward to a new video notification pop up😊 Looking closely on the shape of your good looking Savinelli it does look like a Bulldog shape rather than a classic Rhodesian shape, maybe it is what Savinelli refer to, "as an interesting take on the Rhodesian" Regardless the pipe is gorgeous. Enjoy it in good health Nathan. Regards. Daniel
Lovely Savinelli is your new Roma 673. Enjoy it 👍 As you know i manged to get few blends by gatlinburlier upon your recommendations among them is the mountain mall & cades cove Cavendish. I must admit they are superb, as you described them, good old fashion aromatics😂 Spot on Nathan. Btw i just received the C&D eight state burley. Wow what a blend 👍 Can't wait for your review. Speak soon
Thanks Gary. So you finally managed to get hold of the Gatlin Burlier blends. Good I was waiting for your update😊 enjoy them. I too am looking forward to try the C&D Eight state Burley. I due course I will upload my review. Take care
Hi Nathan I took your advice and got a Savinelli and it was this exact pipe. It’s really beautiful and smokes flawlessly. I am now looking for another Savinelli and the Bings Favourite has caught my eye. Happy smokes Martin 👍🏻
Oh wow, Martin, that is great. You got good taste😊 as for your 2nd Savinelli. The Bings favourite looks gorgeous. Looks a bit like the monsieur 412 I have. Enjoy
Bings is a masterpice, but requires really slow smoking and loose packing. Using it with virginias. Having Savinelli 122 lucite, which just wonderful pot for the flakes, 673 is on my wishlist as well. Thanks for the channel Nathan, your reviews like cup of coffee to the pipe!
Beautiful pipe. Enjoy! As far as I know, and I am no pipe expert by any means, the Rhodesian and Bulldog bowls share a common shape. What differentiates them is the design of the shank and stem. A Rhodesian's shank and stem are rounded, whereas a Bulldog's shank and stem are "square," with "sharp" edges. Cheers! (Subscribed. 😊)
Thank you for your informative comment. Someone commented that this is perhaps Savinelli’s interpretation of a modern Rhodesian😊 regardless I am thoroughly enjoying it
Beautiful pipe, Nathan my friend! I have one as well. I like that shape so well that I have 4 different models of the 673-KS’s. Please tell me about your beautiful new lighter.
Thanks John. I spoke about this lighter which is a Chinese version of the famous DuPont lighter in this video. ruclips.net/video/c14R0SzhIGo/видео.htmlsi=0KM-iAE6OvnUjFNg. I can’t fault it in any way & it cost a fraction of the hefty price that the authentic version cost.
I wasn't aware there was a connection with Matches. Well, that explains why I can't seem to find one. I've been wanting to buy that pipe in the 9mm version- which is even harder to find!
Hi Nathan. I haven't checked in in some time. Are you still limiting your pipe smoking to once a week? If so, how do you ever manage to get your pipes broken in properly?
Good question Chris😊 I have a system in play. First I now smoke 2-3 times per week. When I smoke my pipe I literally smoke the whole bowl right to ash only. Then I allow to cool & cover the pipe with my palm and mix the ash well within the bowl. I allow 24h before I clean the pipe. You would be surprised how quickly carbon cake develops with my method. In addition my staff who are mostly vapers and now a few of them occasionally smoke a pipe on their lunch brakes use my pipes😀 so the break in period is even faster.
@TIYX. You got me worried there for a min. I checked the wall of the bowl with a magnifying glass under a strong light, I could assure you there is no hole, it was probably a darker carbon spot that looked like an indent in the wood and now covered in a thin layer of carbon cake. Regardless thanks for your concern😊
I ordered that pipe today after seeing your video!
Good choice Kurt. Enjoy
Very nice pipe right there.
I've always liked Savinelli pipes, and yet still don't own one of my own.
There's just something about a Savinelli...
I agree, something about Savinelli😊 thanks for your comment
I am a big savinelli fan. Their designs just really speak to me. I have 3 and want several more
Indeed Mike i fully understand what you mean when you say they talk to me😀

Thanks Tom. Enjoy your new Savinelli. Indeed perhaps one day we meet😊
Savinelli continues to have very good quality control unlike that other company out there.
Yes i agree
I am catching up on all your presentations. I love them all
Thank you Michael. Happy you enjoy them👍

Thanks Mark 🙏
Just got a 673. First time I used a filter and I really enjoyed it. Broke it in with PS Luxury Navy Flake!
Excellent choice of pipe & blend👍 the filter does smooth out the smoke doesn’t it. enjoy
Hi Nathan love watching ur videos I'm also a savinelli pipe fan have a couple stay well n safe
Thank you Tony😊 enjoy your Savinelli’s
Great pipes & wunderschöne Mundstücke 👍🏻😊🎉

My first one was the Clarke rusticated one. Love it too. Great video.
Thanks 🙏 they are indeed gorgeous pipes, enjoy yours.
Wow what an absolutely gorgeous pipe! 🤩
It really is Austin & the best thing is that it also smokes brilliantly. Thanks 🙏

Thanks Daniel. Regarding the bowl shape probably you’re right. Be well Daniel & regards to Beth.

I love that pipe been smoking it for 4 months I smoke orlik tobacco in it smokes great! I also have the savinell Porto cervo which also I love
Enjoy yours John😊
I also have one and I smoke it with a 6 mm filter, which seems to work perfectly with my aromatic tobacco!
Yes many use a filter for aromatics. Enjoy it.

At 24min or so in the video I indicated (flash text) where this pipe is available. Worth checking if it is still the case.

Nice pipe. Did you use the 6 mm reducer to 3 mm or did you just smoke It Wide Open with no filter?
Wide open no filter.
I just ordered the smooth version. Savinelli Tortuga Smooth 673 KS.
Looks like a bent bulldog to me.
Enjoy your new Savinelli😊 it looks gorgeous, especially with the cap on
11:22 you have a hole in the side of that bowl.
@TIYX. You got me worried there for a min. @@TheVapingPiper It sure looked like a hole in the video. Not all the way through but good size pit. Glad it was not the case.
