Glad to see you set the tank up Scott. It’s a nice small AIO. That paly looks like the size of a quarter. 😊 the additions of the corals you put in there will grow out nicely.
You can adjust the brightness. Just press 1 up to 8, then off. It’s very very mild, but it’s there. Mine only has 18 led lights, 2 aren’t on. Is that done on purpose? How many do you have on?
I think this would be perfect for going to a reef show and setting it up in your hotel so you can buy corals day 1 and don't have to worry. Put their pocket frag rack in and you're good to go. Super great company!
Hey there, I plan on setting up a 30 inch 93 gallon cube tank. I really want to keep tangs, so I was wondering if I could keep any tangs in this and if so how many i can keep and which combination would you suggest? I will keep a Tomini tang in there. So, can I keep any other tangs with him/her? I really wanted a yellow or purple tang, but I am worried that the tang will become too small for two tangs. Please let me know. Thank you in advance!
Hey Scott, This is Kevin and I would love to get in touch with you! I live in Denver and said hello to you at reef stock this last show. My family and I were planning on putting a few video's on youtube but would like to clear it with you as the name is taken from the movie - Beneath The 12 Mile Reef - and is familiar to your channels name. So if I had an email to send you a link to the video for your approval? That would be great or I could give it here if you prefer? Love your channel! Thanks Kevin
No. That isn't true. I've never heard that before. The only case in which they go airborne is if you boil them. The toxin comes out as a result of the zoas getting cut or injured. As long as you don't get any of it in your blood, you're fine. Even if it gets on your skin you will be fine. Best to wear gloves when putting your hands in the tank. If you frag them, as long as you wear glasses and gloves, you'll be fine. And never boil your rocks. Not even all zoas have playtoxin. It's quite possible that most don't. Hope this helps!
Do not waste your money. Overpriced plexiglass tank. Pump is terrible and loud. Tops don't fit correctly, contacted customer service and as soon as they heard i wasn't happy, they ghosted me. Beware of this company
Oh wow definitely getting this for my work desk tank! Looks awesome!
I think I’m going to have to get one for myself now! It looks so cool!
It’s super cool! I’m loving it

Thank you for the review! This is my son’s company and we are so proud of his creativity and love for corals!

That’s a brilliant idea!
I had one of these running in my room at a show in February
Just ordered one of these the other day! Currently on the way from USA to NZ. It will be my first reef tank
How's your tank doing?
No sand bed?
im thinking of buying one.. u think the regulated heater they have now and cooler is good enough ? plz do an update ! :) , ty
Where did you get this tank from
I ordered it at ReefStock. I think you can also get them at SaltwaterAquarium.com
The real question is, did it fail or is it still running
Still running!
I just set up the sickest specie specific pico tank, it’s got a 1” upside down jellyfish in it. Plan to plant some macro and mangroves
That sounds so awesome! Thanks for sharing

Are you going to add a fish by the way it looks cool I like the Xenia.
Hope all is well.
All is well. I’m super busy with the non reef side of life
i would do a box like stand and hide all the wires underneath. Also can i buy just the light? , I've looking for something to light up my 2g lagoon .
That’s a great idea! I’m not sure if they sell just the light. It wouldn’t hurt to contact them to see.

@2:32 dont want to be a weird guy but what on earth is that picture of on the picture frame?! :D
Lol it’s my mom. The frame not real smart. That photo should display vertically.
I use this for growing coral for my 50 gallon, it’s amazing! I’m planning on ordering 2 more to grow even more coral, they’re so awesome
Hey I had a question about zoas is it true they release toxins even if you don’t mess with them that can be airborne?

Airborne? They're underwater. 🤣
Can I put tang in here
I don't like the light because it loses it setting evey time you have to cut the power off.
This is the trend at the moment but for me I think it's just a waste of time but great video
