I’ve been struggling with keeping my plants alive and my parameters stable. I haven’t even added shrimp yet because I want to wait until I know they’ll thrive
Such a simple but amazing set up! I loved how the carpet filled in! And omg the banana plant was so CUTE! I never knew those existed!💖💖💖 always look forward to your peaceful videos!💖💖🐟👍
I have a 3 gallon tank. I sprouted grasses for the tank and put 20 shrimp and 16 clams in it. I took 2 months for everything to mature before adding living creatures. I now have shrimplet's swimming around! I added 1 black kuhli loach. I bought 4 and added 3 to my 10 gallon tank. I want to add the loach to the bigger tank but heck if I can catch it. I added 1 gold and 1 blue snails and 2 bristle nose algae eaters. I have a bubbler in one corner that the shrimp love. I have 2 floating pumice stones anchored with stones and fishing line. A biofilm filter (I think that's the correct term?) and change 25% of the water every 2 weeks and give them different foods like bug bites, bloodworms and a spirulina vitamin mix. For a first try with shrimps I am so happy everyone is healthy, thriving and having shrimplets. Thanks for your videos!
@@pickledfur According to the shrimp experts 10 shrimp per gallon is correct. I have a 3 gallon tank. The shrimplets will be transferred to a 15 gallon tank when fully grown. 2 snails are not too much for a small tank. The loach is gone and only one bristle nose is left. It's not over crowded and it's a happy, healthy tank. Also, if anyone gets clams here's some info. The ones I got are the size of a nickel and when you add them to your tank they will disappear within 10 minutes into your substrate and never seen again unless you go digging for them. They take up no space for your water babies.
How do you find the tank is going with no airstone? I always read that baby shrimp survival rate is better with an airstone by a lot, but it's always just random people online saying it with no backing or side by side experiments to compare.
Also a beginner here. I believe You should use anti chlorine/water treating in tanks with tap water, but if your using RO or distilled water it might be fine. Might as well be safe though, seachem prime Is like $5
could maybe also link the products you used in the despriction? Like the light or the rocks... and one question.. what is the black ring in the middle??
Beautiful setup! You have so much more patience than I do 😅 your drip acclimation technique is really cool. I haven't seen that before. Your shrimp are lucky to have you as an owner.
do you think shrimp will be fine with just algae, biofilm, algae wafers and bryne shrimp. or sould i consider getting more variety when i go to the store?
@@alexanderbettalover7944 i was planning on getting five with no fish. but ill still trim more of my plants from my other tank and try to make a forest fir the shrimp
@@monke-oy4xb If your tank bigger than mine, you can keep more shrimp in it, so they will feel safer and hide less. And I think it would be better if you also gave them some regular shrimp food.😊
i give my shrimps mostly some cheap flakes and bread. in my small pot, got 2 females caridean after they bred, put them there, been 4 years now, they are still there. i think because they do not bred thats why they lived longer? anyway do not buy fancy food for shrimps, put anything in there they will eat it. sometimes i put dead guppies for them on thanksgiving. lol
@@Fishly-bj6wd do you just use tap? I'm looking to set up a tank soon and was curious if I should go out and buy water or if tap is fine. My tap water is pretty hard
I don't know if the drip acclamation bottle was sped up, but that seemed a little fast. I usually have one of those air-tubing drip acclamation systems for about 15-30 minutes. Great scape tho! need to try something like it in the future!
Depends on the amount of water your adding and how much u already have. The drip acclimation u see in other videos are too slow, this is actually normal, i was surprised when i found that out, lol
you just saved my life, i just bought a 2 gallon tank for shrimps and was struggling with the idea to set it up
You almost died?
Were you going to kill yourself if the tank didn’t turn out good ????

What is the circle thing at the top with the leaves in it?
My shrimp go absolutely crazy when I put blanched nettle leaves in. They can’t get enough
So relaxing...i really loved it..subscribed your channel...
thank you for this video! very helpful
she is backk 😍
Nice set up
Are they going to be fine without oxygenating the water?
Plants add oxygen
That is such a cool tank
Such a wonderful video. Do you have links to your music?
Do u use/add anti-chlorine in d tank?

No filter? How is the tank holding up?
Tiny and Beautiful....
I couldnt help but like 😩😩😩❤
Aahhh it's so charming
BTW DO WE HAVE TO CHANGE THE WATER REGULARLY PLZ TELL I HV LIKED
Yeah the water has to be changed once or twice a week
@@Fishly-bj6wdif you don’t feed so much it won’t have to be changed so often. One tenth this amount of food would be more than enough!

I made it from two plastic bottles!

Is there special.soil?😊
All shrimps on this tank you’re not put oxigen filter??
you really should have as heater and filter. ....
this is sick bro
do you think shrimp will be fine with just algae, biofilm, algae wafers and bryne shrimp. or sould i consider getting more variety when i go to the store?
I feel them fish pellets, they usually eat the ones at the bottom. Make sure to get atleast 5, i have 2 right now they’re always hiding.
And make sure to get a lot of plants and hiding spaces if your willing to have fish in that tank.

wow this was really relaxing and calming for me. And also is this your own music? I really like it and thanks for the aquarium set up!
Without co2? That carpet looks good
Exactly what I was thinking
They are friends I love them

hi where do you get your background sticker from ? or what is it called
Awwww 🤩
How do you get the poop too sway like that?
Does aquarium shrimps can survive even without areator?
The plants act as filtration and maintains the tank, also gives oxygen to the tank
Shrimps does!
can you make a video about how to clean the tank?
can Glossostigma survive without CO2 sir? I love that creature but I don't have enough money to build a CO2 system.
He grow it on dry system,wo water fill in tank, wrap in with olastic ,spray water twice a day ,it will grow
@ but after water filling sir? Im afraid that it can not continue growing and slowly die.
what kind of water did you fill up and how long did you remove the uneaten food
You can use tap water, but don’t forget to put a dechlorinator like Prime Dechlorinator
how many times do i need to refresh my water in a nano aqurium and how much
how do you manage glossostigma elatinoides without co2??
Hello I'm beginner to this i just have one question, does shrimp don't need air pump or filter?
It would be better if you used a filter
@@Fishly-bj6wd thanks sir/ma'am
@@k7riiimake sure it’s a sponge filter. Some filters can suck in baby shrimp and kill them, so make sure your filter it safe
@@ryforg what about hang on back filter?
@@k7riii I don’t know, as long as there is a sponge covering up where it sucks water in it would
Probably be fine.
Very cute i want it haha
perfect video
How do you make sure they’re all the same sex?
so no filter/no heater/ no co2, and it works so far?
Yes, and I will make a video about it
What is the name of the carpet tree u use?
do you use distilled water for water changes?
No, because Rili shrimp don't need it. If you want to keep Crystal Red Shrimp, you'll need to use distilled water.
@@Fishly-bj6wd do you just use tap? I'm looking to set up a tank soon and was curious if I should go out and buy water or if tap is fine. My tap water is pretty hard

And no pump or filter. Just occasional water changes plus algae.
I don't recall being in a tank
Nice tank setup and relaxing video!
How you deal with overpopulation?
Eat em
There‘s no such problem yet😊
Hi bro, do i need to install the water pump filter ?
It would be better if you installed it.
no algae and filter?
can i do this with a 3/4 gallon tank
these tanks don''t need filters? nice video
The plants are the filters
It is better with a filter. But plants themselves can get the job done
You managed to grow a carpet without co2?!?! How?!
It has worked for now!
Hey, MD, what are your thoughts on AIO aquariums..Ive beem using them lately and love the idea of everything hidden and having the built-in skimmers.
what substrate did you use
They used aquasoil
But you can use any substrate that gives nutrients to the plants like potting soil
The guppies eat the shrimps or not
I don’t think these guppies do, but some can. You just need to keep them well feed.
❤❤❤😊
