Your video helped me out tremendously and I discovered why the forearm wouldn't engage - the trigger group's sides were slightly pushed in and needed to be aligned. Seeing your video close-up helped me understand that. It is reassembled correctly and works like a charm. Thank you!
I just bought my first shotgun this being the first one. I disassembled and re assembled it with the help of this video to make sure there was no problems with it.
I recently watched another video that showed the trigger assembly being put in first upon reassembly (so I did the same) and it took wayyy longer to try and get it back together. Glad I decided to watch your video this time, it literally took me about 10 seconds to get it fully reassembled.
Man thanks so much, you’ve been a big help, first time ever dissembling a Remington 20 gauge, almost the exact model of your 12 guage. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to put that firing pin back on, thanks so much, peace ✌️ out.😎
When I first got the gun myself, I couldn’t find one good video online to help me at all so I figured I would make one that actually makes sense. Thanks for watching Brother. I appreciate it.
Great video. It helped me when I was taking mine apart and putting back together. I couldn't figure out what was binding every time I put the trigger assembly and bolt/slide back together. That sweet spot was perfect. BTW... I do have he manual and I did look at it, but I double checked online and your video seem to work. Thanks!
You were able to remove the bolt assembly from the receiver without first taking off the trigger assembly. Mine doesn't appear to be able to be done this way. Maybe i just need to giggle it more or something. I did notice your slide was closed when you did it, but I also have the security model.
So many choices on shotguns and looked up the most affordable and these are the 5 1. Thanks for the video..... I could not get the trigger assembly in without cocking the hammer.... Is that required to install the trigger group into the frame?? Thanks.
I can’t get the slide with firing pin to go back in place. I didn’t take the trigger off so I assume the doesn’t matter. The slide only goes down about a half inch. I pushed the spring but that doesn’t help. What could be stopping it? Thanks
i broke the track putting the firing mechanism back in is that bad or it can work without it cause my trigger isint going back in i’ve been at it for 20 min
took mine apart to clean it, went to stick the barrel back on and the ejector pin won't allow the barrel to fit snug back into place. it's weird. only if i have the pump\slide all the way back will the barrel go on right. and then i can't push the slide all the way forward because that ejector pin pops out too far in the chamber. been looking at it like 4 days and can't figure it out lol
What a great video 👍. Sound was excellent. Video was excellent. Lighting was good. Went into great detail. Thank you brother. What ammo does it NOT like?
Anyone know if just the 28" barrel can be purchased? We like this gun very much for the price, however Winchester "Super X" 2 3/4 shells will never cycle, I mean never. Federal shells work flawlessly however.
Bro, during disassembly i pulled the trigger and it smashed into the bcg loosening those dove joint tracks. If anyone can help me out with some welding, let me know.
I just bought this gun. And I've for a problem. The pump release behind the trigger will not move. It came this way. Seems like it's jammed up in the reciever. It won't depress or move press. Any idea on how to fix this?
I have a problem with not being able to cycle the gun without have to dry fire each time .if I have one in the chamber the problem would be I would have to fire it to get the shell to eject plus I can not unload through the tube . Anyone have an idea what might be wrong.? I took it apart (except the trigger assembly) cleaned her up still have the problem .
I had the same problem until I realized the shells were too long 3 1/4". Works good with 2 1/4". My problem is I can't get the spring out of the mag tube with out using a screw driver to pry the cap off. I have to use pliers to get it back in. Doesn't make sense.
Gilbert Alvarez when we bought the gun it was the combo so it came with a 28 inch and 19 inch barrel. If yours didn't come with the 19 inch barrel it's only 60$ online
Now imagine this video added another minute to it and that the “shells” you put in ended up creating a “stove pipe jam”. Every single time. No parts are broken or missing or loose. It can not properly chamber a second round. Then what?
I had that same exact problem on my 320. It was a worn ejector. Well mine had a metal burr on it that I filed off now it dont jam at all. No matter the load I run. Hope that helps.
why doesn't this video have more views? i haven't found a better disassembly/assembly video anywhere
I'm guessing most people who own one of these aren't concerned with taking it apart to clean it.

Good on you! I jut picked up one of these. Hope you are enjoying it, and have added to your collection!
Thank you for this video. I tried to take my gun apart for cleaning and I couldn’t get it back together. Your video was a life saver!

Glad it helped.. that’s why I made this video. All the videos I looked up were way more difficult compared to how I was doing it..
My Stevens 320 is a 7+1 now, thanks to my new mag tube extension. These are great, cheap shotguns. I've shot the crap out if mine.
What brand tube extension?
Love it! Rock on!
If you're interested in installing a magazine tube the one for Winchester 1300 fits perfectly
What's that mag capacity?
Comes as a 5+1, but I added a +2 mag tube extension to mine. Now, it's... You guessed it! 7+1!
@@jamiesloan5902 which one did you use
Does this come with 2 barrels if you buy it from the store
Thank you deezam i couldnt get this bolt back in to save my life ! Very informative.

Thank's J.T., I just bought a 20 ga. with a 22" barrel and your video was
excellent info/help for me. Keep the video's coming. Robert
Thanks for this video, I just got my first shotgun this particular model being the first one. Can’t wait to use this video to help me
So grateful for RUclips!
Thanks so much. I needed a guide to clean my gun all out
Great video! Clear with very little jargon.
Thank youuuuuuu, 1000 thanks you helped me with my Stevens 20
Thanks JT , That firing pin had me hung up. Good vid.
I still can’t get my pump back on 😭
Excellent video. Thanks!
Thank you! Other videos were confusing and frustrating
Had this gun for like 3 years , its a great shotgun for the price never had a problem with it
Thank you this was very helpful
So it is a cross between a Remington 870 and a Winchester SXP, kind of. Neat design.
They say this is a clone of Winchester 1300!
What a life saver !
Excellent video 👍Thanks 🇺🇸

At 04:21, I cannot get this damn thing to slide in without feeling like ima forcing it and subsequently bending it. Help
Exact same issue, I think our rails that secure the tube are pinned loose. Might need a tiny screwdriver to secure properly
I'd like to have seen your video shot at a wider angle, but good info on removing the trigger mechanism

Do you ever figure this out
@@jakeherbst2334 hey man do these come with both barrels if you buy it from a store new

thanks man. buddy took it apart and i wasnt sure where to start.

Useful video if you own this model. Thanks.
Why didn’t ur spring come out when u took off the barrel
Big help, thanks
Big thank u
Excelent video Thanks.
Angel Rodriguez thanks for watching
i wish i can get that stock
How did your barrel cap come off so easily 💀. Ima need to put some wd-40
Mine doesn’t want to come off
The manual only shows how to take barrel off when cleaning. I wonder if it is even necessary to take it a part this much to clean it, if ever.
I actually bought some wood furniture for mine....
Where?!

Does a 870 stock fit I’m looking for a pistol grip stock I just got the gun I love it
Does your barrel move a little bit when assembled?
No sir

My pin doesn’t even come out with even a hammer pain in the a***
I got a cold from watching this video.
Thank you!!
Does this have a plug that you can remove to add more rounds?
The security version doesn't have a plug
@@yosefyitz I have the 28 inch.

I will take it apart and put it back together like this video and hope that it works again.
@@JT-Terry I just figured it out. My barrel wasn't lined up right. Once I straightened it out everything fell inn place. Thanks though for the reply.
Anyone have issues with the plastic O ring? Where to buy replacement? Thanks
I'm having trouble locating a 19 inch barrel do you have any suggestions where to look
Gilbert Alvarez online

Is it possible to make barrel conversion for home defense pistol grip
Gilbert Alvarez when we bought the gun it was the combo so it came with a 28 inch and 19 inch barrel. If yours didn't come with the 19 inch barrel it's only 60$ online
Ya u can but a stock with pistol grip mine came with one and a 870 stock will work with it with little to no mod
Thank you

That’s crazy ive put probably 600 shells through without a hitch on mine. It even feeds minis.
Mine doesn't just "shimmy off". 😑
Mine does just fine. 😂
Good video though. I had to take my trigger off to get my bolt to come out 🤷♂️😂
Whats the buttstock on it , do you have a link bro ?
havig touble shimmying it out
Me too just give it a good pull and it should come free
Can you shoot slugs through this shotgun?
Woodrow Martin Jr. yes you can!!
Of course! Mine shoots 2" groups at 50 yards. Good enough for bear hunting.
Woodrow Martin Jr. I've got 8 different choke sizes, for mine. I hunt EVERYTHING with it. lol
The China thing is a turn off for me, but I think it's one of the best systems out there. Winchester 1300 clone.
They make strong things in China. Look at the virus
Mine wont shimmy out
Same
Same here
Same here and I don't have a clue on how to get it out
Yeah I see I'm not the only one
Thx
Dude what the fuck. My gun is different apparently. I can't take it apart.
i have the same gun
I paid 150 for mine
Like every video they skip over what I need to know

Very unclear
🤣😂🤣😂
Instructions were unclear, closed bolt on dick.
