    YES! I was greatly influenced by Ars Magica back in my college days! For me, the use of d20 in FangKnight is still too dramatic of a die for modern game mechanics. I call the d20 the "Lummox" die for how clumsy and awkward it is. It's not at all heroic when your hero misses half of the time. Banes and Boons? Yes, that's old-school Dragonbane concepts.
