  • Combat batwings by toning up your arms and shoulders with 10 exercises in 10 minutes! Join my 79-year-old mom and me in this workout that will strengthen your upper body and define your arm and shoulder muscles. No weights needed. But I hope you can build up to using them as you get stronger.
    Below are the 10 exercises:
    1. Front Shoulder Raise
    2. Lateral Shoulder Raise
    3. Overhead Shoulder Raise
    4. Shoulder Open/Close

    OMG! Who are you? I just finished 4 different upper body workouts including a HIIT, Arm, and upper body and the 8 minute warm up and guess what? My football muscle memory returned. This is a physical habit now and guess what; more positive, feeling and happiness for me. After 68 years of abuse I know there is a Universe and a God for me. I hope you live goodness and thank you so much, April and Aiko. Now maybe after 3 more months I can travel and visit and enjoy positively again. Thank you and keep moving he he he! Thank you.     Wow! I loved you folks and the workout!
    First, it was great because your gentle, kind demeanor is so much better than the "drill sergeant" mentality which is all too common. It was almost a meditative experience.
    Second, using 2 kg weights, this 73-year-old body felt the workout.
    Way to go ladies!

    Thank you ladies for all your videos. I was never into exercising until I watched your video and said well I can try that for 10 minutes or another video for 15 minutes. I now do several of your videos daily and start my day with your 30 minute videos. Your voice is so calming and I feel so good after your videos. I love that you and mom do this together.     Great exercises to keep the shoulders and muscles around them fit. I tried this with 3lb weights and it was a good workout for them.

    I’m so happyI found these videos…don’t really love exercise, but I’m loving these. Had spine surgery eighteen months ago and haven’t been the same since even with physical therapy. Your mom is my inspiration!

    10 moves X 10: a nice balanced and well rounded routine! I have problems with my right rotator cup, so some of the moves were difficult, forcing me to limit the lifts in height that involved its use by . Still, this is one I will return to, so thank you so much. Aiko was very helpful keeping count!...Anastasia

      @@yes2next I've been gradually working my way up from 2-lb. to 3-lb. to 5-lb. dumbbells in the strength workouts, and I was pleased that I was able to use 5-pound dumbbells throughout this workout this morning. I was a little unsure if I should be using them for the shoulder exercises or if I should have continued to use 3-pound dumbbells for those, but although it was challenging, it wasn't painful, and I managed it pretty well. Do you think it's okay for me to continue using 5-pound weights for the shoulder exercises? I know you often recommend lighter weights for shoulders. (Feb. 29, 2024)

    I am doing these with 2 kg (around 4 lbs) weights. It's challenging and I have to pause between movements, but I will get there. I'm 76.

As a young 76yo it's good to challenge yourself too but if you have to pause between the moves, you might consider using lighter weights i.e. 3lbs. to see if that helps. 👏 Always listen to your body too!     How, I God's Name did you know this workout was one of my 4 year workout for football and I am exhausted even without weights. Before when I was younger I used massive weights. Now I will order 2.5 lb weights in a few weeks to add to this exercise Video: today was Energizer warm up, Core 5 minutes, a walk and this video for the Arms and I will look for your posture videos if you have any.     Thank you so much. I just finished 4 of your videos this morning. I'm recovering from shoulder surgery and multiple health procedures since the beginning of the year. I am a 71 type 2 diabetic trying to take control of my bad eating habits and counting carbs. Not easy but I feel I can accomplish this. I kept telling myself I couldn't exercise yet because my sugars kept dropping, but I am now having better numbers. I found your videos this morning and you are the first ones to really encourage me to get up and stop making excuses, so off I go. I need my health, my energy and my weight to be awesome for me and maybe I can encourage two of my neighbors who are in denial so badly.
