    Healing develops in compassion, mercy and understanding. Grace…is the key. Critical, self condemning and frustration are fertile ground for anxiety.

    Aida and Michelle, thank you so much for this podcast! Starting out with information on self-compassion was a fabulous idea. I can’t imagine how the application of DARE principles would go well while beating up on oneself at the same time. Psychologist Kristin Neff has done a lot of research and training on self-compassion and has a website devoted to it. On her website, she has a free self-compassion inventory one can take to more readily see how well (or not) one treats oneself in this respect. She also has RUclips videos. Your efforts in conveying DARE principles is extraordinary. I hope you both know that you are making a valuable difference in our lives, and how much you’re appreciated.
