If you don't drink it within minutes your drinks will turn to pudding. You need to get SimplyThick which is a gel. As an RN I've thickened Tim Horton's coffee, beer, soda, and many other fluids for my patients. The surprise of their faces when they can drink something they enjoy. Lemon water is refreshing for them, but milk is nasty tasting. Luckily my patients are on tube feeds for awhile before they can either learn to eat again, incases of tongue removal or stroke, or post surgery.
I'd love to see you try mixing together the ingredients for ice cream (milk, cream, sugar, vanilla) or just use melted ice cream and make it thicc! Who wouldn't love ice cream that doesn't need a freezer?
I had spinal fusion surgery. I wound up with my vocal cords paralyzed. I couldn’t be understood when I tried to speak. And, when I tried to drink, the liquid went right down into my bronchial tubes and left me choking and gagging. It was so difficult, and I went thirsty rather than drinking. A nurse got me some thickened drinks, and saved my life! It was four months before my vocal cords healed.

I had to make a special version of Christmas dinner for a kid by basically blending the whole thing together with gravy and…I was surprised by how decent it actually was. Maybe try blending a whole meal together and trying it? And adding some thickener if it’s too liquid!
i had to use this for my daughter for a couple years because she would aspirate when she drank anything, even water. I always got a good chuckle when i’d pull it out at restaurants to thicken up her water 😂. Very glad she’s outgrown that now.

before your videos I had never heard of think-it, but now I want it because I always add some corn starch to my hot cocoa to thicken it up and this could really help with the limps of boiling inconsistently lol
Cold water/milk, corn starch, stir it until it's smooth. Don't put it into the hot cocoa before it is fully dissolved. And don't buy thick it, it's just corn starch.
you have no idea how much my drunk brain loved this sequel! Video worthy of main channel content i love the editing and your chemistry is adorable and leaves me smiling!
Hey some TIPS: With the powder stuff it works better if you first put the powder in your glass and then while stirring it you add the juice it helps with the clumping. Also if you let the drink sit for a bit it should thickin too what the box says so you don't really need to add more. Adding more after you already stirred it causes more clumping too. We tend to use jello instead of thick-up (brand that we use) if it really need to be an almost sollid. It's cheaper that way. We also thickin soup when needed but if it's really thick soup we add less scoups. Cause for the patients it needs to be the same thickness as much as possible cause that what they expect it to feel like.
For someone who chokes over liquids, this would be a life savor and an ability to taste some of the flavors they enjoyed. I'm glad we don't have to drink our liquids thickened. 🤢 We actually use V8 as our juice base for chili. It adds a punch of flavor and more veggies. I'm with Evan, condensed OJ is quite yummy! 🍊 I'm glad you are bringing this drink option to the general public and trying it with a variety of drinks!👍
I guess what I'm saying is I don't think I've ever had to add extra juice, just the juice from like beans and tomatoes and corn seem to be enough for us
I was a CNA forever ago and worked at a nursing home, one of the rare calm days we had a nurse suggested I try it. I don't regret that experience, but I'm not in a hurry to experience it again. Although the thick foods were what even I the guy who would try anything wouldn't try. I remember feeding some residents and it was like soft playdough that was pressed into food molds. I remember the "corn on the cob" vividly it looked like unshaded toy food.
I love garlicy food, but I know I really smell after having it. I think my body is extra bad at handling the sulphites... So I try to make the most of it when my partner has to travel for work. If he's away for a few days and I'm home alone I will live off crusty bread and tzatziki and be smelly and happy😂
From my time working in a restaurant, you need to stir starch into a seperate liquid first, then only put in what has actually dissolved on the top. Welll... we also had whatever we were thickening cooking, as we stir in the dissolved starch.
I work at a hospital kitchen you would not believe what people want thicken like carbonated soda. Also for consistency we just use the blender/mixer instead of mixing by hand
As a speech therapist at a hospital, the best thing to use is simply thick, it’s a gel and it works wonders. (Also just a tip it’s GREAT in bubbly wine😂🤣)

"A really tart apple sauce" maybe something like idk... cranberry sauce?
The reason the cranberry juice tastes like apple sauce is because, if you look, the main ingredient is apple juice, not cranberry juice. It would be too tart if it was just cranberry.
I love green machine juice and you guys just tried to kill me with the thick look😂 how am I supposed to go back to drinking it without thinking of this???
I know this isn't the point of the video, but yours is the only channel I don't skip through the ad for, because you put effort into them and they are all different.
can't stop cackling at the Celery and Lettuce sidling ominously in from the side of the screen. just peeking. overseeing the proceedings. lurking. i love them
i wonder how thickened alcohols would act
Alcohol doesn’t thicken too well.
there's directions for making thickened cocktails on the Hormel Health Labs page, but I haven't tried any of them yet because we're not allowed to serve alcohol at work, and all my thickener experiments have been to serve to clients at the day program.
StrangeAeons did a video w/ the same premise where she thickened Fireball and apparently it takes longer to go down and thus burns longer
Need to try all the thick alcohols next!!
Thiqueila !
Evan & Katelyn are total couple goals! They've shown many glimpses their relationship isn't perfect, but they are so full of ❤ Unconditional Love ❤️ for each other!
Oh my goodness! You two are sooo funny! Thank you for trying strange things like this so we don't have too! 😉I've been watching you two for years and you always brighten my day 😊
Guys this might be my favorite of your recent videos, SO many laughs and plot twists and the editing was fantastic. The fact that you choose to put such funny, well-produced videos on your second channel just shows how super high quality your content is overall!
I had to make a special version of Christmas dinner for a kid by basically blending the whole thing together with gravy and…I was surprised by how decent it actually was.
Maybe try blending a whole meal together and trying it? And adding some thickener if it’s too liquid!
Try making a desert with it! Whenever there should be a gooey thing, use thikit
Like a jello or something?
Thick cup noodles. Thick Campbell's soup. Thick aloe vera drink. Thick milkshake!
Thick. Beer.
Or wine.
i had to use this for my daughter for a couple years because she would aspirate when she drank anything, even water. I always got a good chuckle when i’d pull it out at restaurants to thicken up her water 😂. Very glad she’s outgrown that now.
Katelyn: which one do you like better
even: stoically watches the orenge juice drip off the spoon
Katelyn zoomed in shots make me happy. There's no other way to describe. 😊
I love you guys!! The chaotic energy is so addictive!😂❤
The fun you two have when making this video is contagious. Love it :). Also, the 'weird' choice from Katelyn inspired the most ideas.
Hi!! You guys got me to start making!
I remember when I worked in a nursing home, we would use lemon-flavored thickener in water, and we would seal the top of the glass with saran wrap, as tight as we could get it, and shake the utter hell out of it.
before your videos I had never heard of think-it, but now I want it because I always add some corn starch to my hot cocoa to thicken it up and this could really help with the limps of boiling inconsistently lol
If you mix the cornstarch with a bit of cold water first to make a slurry and stir that into your hot cocoa you should avoid lumps
@@irononreverse I already do it but SOMEHOW there still lumps!
Dispair from just wanting to enjoy some hot cocoa 😔
@@solosaf6754 do you have a milk frother? Its a tiny powered whisk that should really help fix the lumps
@@noaccount2494 used to have one but it was cheap so it broke like after a week. Should get a new one ngl now that you mention it
Cold water/milk, corn starch, stir it until it's smooth. Don't put it into the hot cocoa before it is fully dissolved. And don't buy thick it, it's just corn starch.

im actually in tears right now cause id do the same thing. my family didn’t have much money so those little things were like a sweet treat to me.
you should make thick ramen broth :)
What an amazing birthday gift!! A new video from my favorite RUclipsrs! ❤❤
I just wanna see a crossover between Will it Rice Krispie and Thick-It™
I enjoy the premixed lemon water it is so delicious and refreshing.
The cranberry premixed is also good.
you have no idea how much my drunk brain loved this sequel! Video worthy of main channel content i love the editing and your chemistry is adorable and leaves me smiling!
made me laugh imagining you were drinking the thick bloody Mary she mentioned 😂❤
What?? I've always just dumped the cans of stuff in with their juice, and then it's chili after a few hours
I guess what I'm saying is I don't think I've ever had to add extra juice, just the juice from like beans and tomatoes and corn seem to be enough for us
@KevinCrouch0 We add the other juices as well. There is not one way to make chili, I guess?
Soooo I'm dealing with a chest cold and coughing is painful. I laughed so hard! Oh my goodness thank you!
Omg, thicken the juice. put it in an ice cream machine and make sorbet! 😃
that's such a good idea!!!
If he's away for a few days and I'm home alone I will live off crusty bread and tzatziki and be smelly and happy😂
next time he goes, it would be the perfect time to make the 'odorless garlic' and then update us to tell us if it really works or not😂👌
From my time working in a restaurant, you need to stir starch into a seperate liquid first, then only put in what has actually dissolved on the top.
Welll... we also had whatever we were thickening cooking, as we stir in the dissolved starch.
They look chunky though I wonder if you used a stick blender if it would be a smoother consistency and also is water the same texture as the juices?
Idea !! What about Thick sodas. I wonder how the thick it would react with the carbonated beverage
I thought in the thumbnail that the green juice was pickle juice…but now i need to see thick pickle juice
Thickle juice.
I work at a hospital kitchen you would not believe what people want thicken like carbonated soda. Also for consistency we just use the blender/mixer instead of mixing by hand
I mean, if you can't have your favorite food any other way...😢
I wonder if you could use this stuff to thicken up gravy when the corn starch or flour methods fail
No, it's just corn starch with better marketing.
@dude988 youuuuu are correct. I just looked it up 😅 those deceptive bastards lmao
You guys are freaking hilarious. Please don't ever stop
ive never been this early! love you guys thank you for always constantly putting out amazing wholesome content ❤
As a speech therapist at a hospital, the best thing to use is simply thick, it’s a gel and it works wonders. (Also just a tip it’s GREAT in bubbly wine😂🤣)
Omg make homemade yogurt with milk and thick it! How cursed would that be? 😂
Simply Orange has a Extra Pulp version. It does not pour easily, and you have to chew it. So good.
Extra pulp is heavenly 🤩
ohhhh I better recommend that to my brother he loves pulp!!! thank you
Evan, I’m counting your blessings for you that it wasn’t Clamato! 🤢. Also if you like the orange juice concentrate, we also put one container of it in with mashed sweet potatoes and some ginger and it’s delicious!
My daughter is 2 and has to use thickener level nectar because she aspirates on liquids. She used to be on honey thickness. I’m thankful for the dysphasia outreach project as they have provided us with thickner as it’s not covered by insurance even with a diagnosis.
OMG I used to eat the conectrated orange juice as well. I have made myself sick on that.
my poor brother did this at age 14 not knowing what concentrated orange juice was for 😂😂😂 I was younger than him so got a real kick out of knowing something he didn't
YES. Eating the frozen concentrate. You just unlocked one of my core memories too!
The plot thickens…
that green machine stuff is amazing. i love all those lil smoothies
You should do a milkshake! Extra thick😂
You have to be careful with that. I did it and immediately, there were all these boys in my yard.
I literally watch every sponsor break (or whatever you call them) they're so funny It's impossible to skip!
Can we just take a moment to talk about how flawless Katelynn's eyebrows are...
The chaos allll over Katelyns face when she introduced the last "juice"
When you said tomato paste/sauce i immediately thought of putting it on a pizza 😅
I think thick dark chocolate almond milk made thick would be so good.
"don't think about it, just eat it. put it in your mouth" Evan.....
22:10 The look on Katelyn's face at the chaos gremlin appearing, what even is that emotion? a mix of mild surprise and disappointment followed quickly by the urge of sarcasm
