I'm insanely impressed with your fabricating and welding skills. I wish continued success to RBG.
Seal-All! Been working on stuff for over 40 years and it's the only thing I have found that will stop gas! Enjoy your channel, sir!
Thanks for the update!
Best part of the vid...
Ms. Red Beard: "Check the oil."
Dam she's smooth
NAH...NOT WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY...JUST BUY A MOTORCYCLE ENGINE ...NOT EVEN SUPERCHARGED AND IT WILL KICK THIS 670 ASS TO THE CURVE
@@nationalcitysycho I'm sorry, I seem to have missed where someone asked for your opinion 🤔
@@JunkyardDigs Don't need to ask anybody for my opinion , can say whatever that fks I can to who ever the fks I.want! WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO? If you have the balls to talk crap behind a screen ,you don't have the cajones to do it in my face! FACTS! I know RBG will get this buggy going but your opinion made you look stupid!
and SLOW !
@@nationalcitysycho - at least you live up to your name, acting like a psycho and being a d-bag. 😘
OK...........I liked, subscribed, asked a question about power to weight ratio, and more. Now I've started binge-watching RBG vids! Very enjoyable!
Didn’t see you move around much at all in that seat. Great suspension setup. Good job!
would love to see you put that engine on a divorced 6 speed harley transmission then you could really let er eat love the sound almost like a ducati how smooth it is
Thats what it need
Then you dont have reverse , only 6 forward , there for just use a motorcyle engine because tranny and block are 1 and smaller package .
@@4486xxdawson harley trikes has backup gear
Just what I was thinking'!
The transmission and engine are cast as one piece on a Sportster but on the big twins like a Lowrider, Superglide, Softail etc etc the engine and transmission are separate.
Live and learn! That can be expensive, I built my first dirt track race car I put a breather in both valve covers not realizing the centrifugal force would push all the oil out, that lesson cost about $3000
Looks like your shocks are working good. You'll get those bugs fixed. Can't wait for a good rip snort video.
The boss is back! This buggy, the older 301 grey mini bike, and swing arm on camo mini bike are my favorites. Cant forget about baja 2 stroke
This vs vasilys new buggy, grind hards oddesy, cars and cameras trophy truck, and rather b's new buggy. That would be an epic collab
Boostedboiz razzle dazzle with the j swap too
I’m sure it’ll happen
Vasily's 670 buggy got sold...
@@jacobbender5449 the cross kart didnt though
@@FlamingRayz it not running though
That suspension looks like it's working beautifully.
Love seeing this thing.
Was going to try and make it to windrock to ride with y’all this weekend but will haven to catch you next time my truck is down.
That is a crazy build
Love it.Tryed to Up-grade my Honda, they said No only Clones
The buggy is pretty badass. I love the engine choice for how unique it is and it sounds great. You killed it on all the fab work also. I think it would be awesome to see it with a divorced Harley trans or even a sport bike engine and get really crazy.
Found your channel today. +1 sub! Awesome videos! I really like how you go into detail with what you're doing. Keep up the good work!
Time to find a golf course that's gone out of business. That'd be a hell of a blast on a golf course.
I could watch that suspension all day
There is 3 bolts near the center hub of the secondary. You can loosten them out to adjust where the belt rides in the pully. You can get a lower gear easy
This is abuild that you need nailed it! That looks way more fun than anything else you have, and sounds great!
Suspension is working flawless
Glad to see the clutching is getting better. Im about to order my drive clutch from P670 thanks to your R&D. I didn't see a link to where you bought the custom sized belts. Can you share that?
Awesome buggy, one thing I noticed on your front coilovers is your not getting in your secondary spring at all. Maybe go a step lighter or go a step heavier on your primary.
You can definitely see those limiter straps getting tight under acceleration that things trying to pick the whole front end up
You've come a long way from yerfdogs and Colemans!
Red Beard’s Garage, what would a buggy like the one you were riding cost today ? Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and information on your builds sir.
Wake and watched red beard. Great way to start the day
Looks like a baby rock bouncer. That’s pretty cool.
The suspension seems to work so darn good.
I appreciate the simple build.
There is another option for the fuel pump that’s the same price as those Holley pumps. It’s more of a lift pump. Runs about 30gph at 5-9psi. I can get you the part number if interested. You wouldn’t need to relocate it.
Runs pretty ok, but still sounds like it’s breaking up a little bit. Perhaps moving the pump will give it a pressure reading and give it more adequate fuel. Sounds like it could be slightly lean. Hopefully that fixes it. There’s definitely more power to be had. I was also wondering if maybe the intake had a very small leak of it’s own before it broke. Either way man, I love this thing. Keep up the good work
@Red Beard's Garage
, If you haven't already considered it you should look into a small standalone efi set up, or a blow through carb. I worry that your IAT's are extremely high coming through that supercharger. Or a Methanol/alcohol fuel that will drop those temps. Love the projects dude!
Awesome video! What carb is that? Thanks
That sounds so cool ! Looks like it drives well too. Hope I can get my 1000cc vtwin to sound as cool as that!
it would be cool to see someone put a 6 speed manual in one of these side by sides. They are all CVT's, which is cool, but I think it would be awesome to see one of the manufacturers make a manual version.
can't you make a return line to the lower block somewhere? so the catch can doesn't fill up. this way it won't affect the air filter.
Happy birthday Mr Red Beard Garage
Good work! It sounds like the engine is running too fast at speed.........perhaps a little more work on the CVT?
Cars and cameras wish they could build like you
They’re a couple of hacks
The oil over flow from the back pressure on the predators I feed a 3/16 hose directly to the chain chain Oiler lol works awesness just a little bit messy when you have oil sling on your frame but it’s awesome and the chain actually lasts for a the continued long the excess rides the oil seems to cool the chain a little if you using a centrifugal clutch
Boys you can see that thing lift up when it builds boost heck ya such a mean buggy
That looked like a blast Nice work!
Trial and error is part of building your own machine. Does that trans have a high and low heat like a polaris ?
Reminds me of people taking their truck an putting glasspacks on it all noise an no go!!!
People saying it's smooth & great..dont know shit from shinola ...... i bet it was expensive..but for us for u its free..u got a sponsor....get a dirt bike engine & u will make that buggy fly! I KNOW U WILL GET THIS BUGGY GOING THO RBG..U ARE THE SHIT! YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DOING!
Can you mount the go pro on the back to show the CVT working?
RB garage... Have you look into AOS (air oil separator), not only would it stop the oil blow by issue it would return the oil back to the case
Throw away them mudlites, for a trail buggy id recommend kanati mud hogs or similar. Love the vids keep up the good work 👍👍
I don't know about the rest but the suspension looks like its working really well :)
That thing needs an liquid cooled snowmobile engine! A 670 looks to under powered for that.
yeah i think that frame and chassis layout could handle something much wilder than a boosted 670
Sure it could handle more but honestly I don't think it'll run into a situation where it's not enough power
800 etec rotax power!
@@teaganroehl sure it may not NEED more power but more power is always more fun 😉
He wanted to show what you could do with a Predator 670 first. This is a beyond wild modded engine.
That looks like so much fun
Shes a screamer for sure. Sounds awesome.
This thing is so awesome!! Keep up the good work!
It works beautiful, greetings from Paraguay
But can you put gears in it? How about a real transmission? Top end seems... a bit weak for this amazing machine. Awesome build man! Subscribed!
On the duramax diesel their is a one way valve in a return line that comes off the pcv to return excess oil to the oil pan. Possibly would work for you.
I'm building a go kart and planning on using a lifan 190 15hp engine which has a 2:1 wet clutch gear box, would a torque converter work well with this? Or is it preferable to have one without any kind of gears or is it normal enough for an engine to have gears and a torque converter? (New to all this) Thanks!!
AWESOME! As to the keyboard critics they are just jealous they cannot afford to do the same thing you are doing. Its your cart, your money and your time so the rest can all kiss your ass when it comes to what you decide to do with this project. GREAT JOB!
Looks like the suspension is working Great!!!
There should be a setscrew with a lock nut to adjust the driven pulley. It needs to have the belt at the top of the pulley. You should try a belt from a side by side or snowmobile if that is where the clutches are from. if I am repeating someone's post sorry I didn't see anyone recommend the adjustment screw
This is such a great build
Hi RBG. What is the website you found your belts on please? Mentioned at ~4min.
Sounds incredible
It would be interesting to get an estimate of the costs involved in this whole build and how much difference in the cost between this and using a different engine/transmission set-up.
That thing is a beast
.I love it
Early rising to play with my minibike and watch some red beard lol
Bad ass I think. You have talent brother.
nice!! looks like a solid build!
Add a oil drain back hose back into the engine for the oil catch can . I have a yanmar 4cyl with that type of setup factory.
Seems to ride very smoothly
So bad ass!
Awesome rig bub!
What size tubing did you use to build a frame ?????
Sounds healthy but VISUALLY, it LOOKS like either it's slower than I expected OR you're babying it. I'd really like to see a speed run.
When are you gunna put a smaller pulley on that blower?
Man I no I knock your stuff but you underpower all these beautiful machines you create but you need a damn 1000cc two stroke in it I've said again and again need to listen grass Hopper
That's a beautiful buggy.... Myself I wouldn't put the fuel cell on the bottom of the buggy... But I'm not a professional, So what do I know..
I got a question, I want to build or buy a custom go-kart, and it has to be cheap, or if I have to build it I know nothing about engineering. And I don't know what engine to get
All that noise and it is like it is standing still
😂 honestly. At least throw up a speedo
That would make a great shifter kart. Some like a 1000cc street bike engine.
Dang that thing looks fun
Parabéns
Lindo o projeto.
Bonito esse projeto.
Show
That is a badass buggy and an awesome motor build. I just don't like those damn CV clutches things. It would be so much nicer if that thing just had a gearbox and a real clutch. Just grab a gear and go and get all that torque right to the tires
Where did you get that frame/ frame components
At least you can sit in your buggy! A different channel looks quite silly sitting in theres
I've never been this early. Hi red beard.
Your ex said you were always early.
At least I had a girlfriend.
Id love to see this with like 3 inch bigger tires and some gear reduction l. The video may be decieving but it looks like it should have some more instant off idle power. I love the design though. Its fantastic.
Supercharger
That is freaking awesome 😊
That thing looks awesome, but uh, man fix the wheel! it's killin' my OCD being off center :D
Nice Yard!!!
Thanks for the video RBG and god bless
what carburetor are you using ?
Definitely a cool build but that buggy is to big for that little bit of hp. Still looks fun.
Wow it’s way underpowered just like everyone said it would be, imagine that
Needs a smaller pulley on the supercharger. More boost until chunks fly.
I dont think its underpowered I the the cvt is slipping and its geared too low
Its supposedly putting out the same HP as a NA RZR 900... Neat project but not sure if its worth the price and effort for the performance?
Someone is jealous
@@matttucker5786 not jealous, people are getting annoyed with "Predator everything meme" especially when it's an improper application. Something that heavy needs 120 horsepower minimum.
Very cool !
I feel like the CVT doesn’t do it justice like they do on RZRs
Love this buggy
Do you also own a rzr or can am x3? This buggy just to do it?
Instead of running back and forth.....with all that space, you need a nice little short course....about 1 min 30 lap time and really put her to work......I have a new custom built buggy that's desperate for a field like that to rip in!!
