  • Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats and surrounding Silver Island Mountains are an amazing photogenic expanse.
My collaborator Kaya Bryla and I asked cinematographer Bubba Durket to shoot video for us.
As I was putting the video together I saw that the "journey" our dashcam filmed as we went from place to place helped tell the story, so I used some of those clips too.
Music is by Ennio Morricone, his iconic "Ecstasy Of Gold", from the western "The Good, the Bad, and The Ugly". I arranged it for all flute orchestra, 35 parts!
Kingma Altos, Basses, and ContraBass Flutes and Levit C Flute.
What sounds like a harmonica is really a Kingma Open Hole Alto Flute with a Matusi membrane Headjoint.
I love the changing light, and the colors of the many different flutes compliment the evolving visuals.
